Muslims, how're Talibans/Al-Qaeda bad Muslims?
The above question is directed at moderate Muslims who usually claim Talibans/Al-Qaeda to be un-Islamic organizations, but any Non-Muslim who agrees with them moderate Muslims on this subject is welcome to answer too. Now doesn't the Qu'ran tells you following: "Those that make war against Allah and His apostle and spread disorder in the land shall be slain or crucified or have their hands and feet cut off on alternate sides, or be banished from the land. They shall be held up to shame in this world and sternly punished in the hereafter." (Sura 5.33) And isn't the above text what Jihad is all about? As for people who say why do they Talibans Bomb mosques in Pakistan, I think that's pretty much obvious. According to these Islamic Fundamentalists, America is at war with Muslims, and Pakistan being it's main ally in this war, so they say why Pakistanis don't protest against their Government and demand to end the allegiance with the US, which means Pakistanis pretty much comfortable with Pakistani Government aiding America on this war against Muslims, and by those standards, Pakistanis do not qualify for Muslims in their opinion, hence they bomb the mosques to tell them to end the hypocrisy all together; you're not Muslims, don't pretend to be. I, for one, fail to understand how they're bad Muslims, their claims make most sense to me. Besides, don't moderate Muslims do everything Qu'ran prohibits them to? Talibans/Al-Qaeda may not be good guys, but they're definitely good Muslims. I mean, like it or not, that's what Islam is all about. I don't hear about moderate Muslims praying 5 times a day, but I do hear about rich people like Bin Laden living for tens of years in caves in the name of Allah. Just my 2 cents.
Why do some people dislike Islam?
I have lived among Muslims for 6 years as I was a student of Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi. In these six years, I never faced any big issue being non Muslim. In general people are nice if you are nice. However, you need to abide certain rules to have a pleasant experience.First rule: Never get involve in any kind of religion discussion. When it comes to religion they are very rigid.Second rule: Wear modest clothes if you are roaming in Muslim locality. One of my roommate's friend was wearing a tight t-shirt in the market (like this picture) and enjoying juice from a juice shop.. A lady threw a glass of juice on her T-shirt and rudely said drap a duppata around your t-shirt. She went in a shocked state.Source: Google imageOnce a man tapped on my head and ordered me to wear scarf on my head while I was going to one of my friend’s house.One of my roommate scored very less in her engineering practical exam because she forgot to wear kurta and went in t-shirt. The teacher of that subject had specially instructed girls to always wear three- fourth length sleeves kurti in his class. My other roommate who was doing PhD , his supervisor adviced her to wear only suits in his lab. Although not everyone is like that, my supervisor never said anything on my choices. Girls do wear short clothes. However in general they have conservative thought process.Third rule: If you are a woman, get accustomed to curfew time and many other things. Earlier our hostel time was 8:00 P.M. and not even a single late night was granted in a month. However as atrocities of management increased to have more control over girls' freedom, a protest took place (because it's Delhi) and now we have 10:30 P.M. time.After living for a long time among Muslim community, I realised that people are good and bad just like all other religions. The only thing that make people dislike them is their staunch religious beliefs which have not changed with the changing time.They blindly agree to whatever the Quran says. No need to worry, there are plenty of good muslim men. Some are good and some are bad, like any man. It just depends on the person. By the groups that radicalize Islam are no different then those who radicalize Chritanity, or any other religion. Islam does not teach mistreating women or committing acts of terror, in fact true islam teaches charity, and kindness. So the General population of muslims are decent people. I dated a couple who where far nicer then some american men.

ok i know eminem pretty much offends everyone. but i have noticed that he has been bagging on islam alot. btw iam pakistani muslim in the uk. ok i know pretty much everyone mocks us whether its american dad to hollywood movies we are always the bad guys and getting made fun of. and i dont relley care becuse everyone mocks us anyways. but i just want to know is eminem only joking around or is he being serious. i have noticed in the osama bin ladin diss he says "what do you expect from an afgan when they get caught up i bombs and allah" is he saying that our religon is filled with terriousts. he then goes on to diss this other rapper who is a white muslim by saying. Q: Why are many terrorists identified as Muslim?Ans: Because the kind of world we are living in, demonizes the oppressed and glorifies the oppressor. Because muslims don't own CNN, BBC and FOX news.Because when USA/NATO/ISRAIL etc drop bombs on our cities, some of us survive with only one purpose to take revenge of our families. Because muslims have this concept of brotherhood which goes something like this, "The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever"_Prophet Muhammad. So, they see muslims getting killed every where, be it Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan etc. and nobody bats an eye, they have developed a sense of collective victim hood.Furthermore, terrorism is the most manipulated word in geo-political lexion. It means use of force or intimidation in pursuit of political aims. Logically it follows any organization(islamic or secular) which kills people to further it's political interests is a terrorist organization. Thus every secular nationalistic army is a terrorist organization too and YES it includes Armed forces of imperialist powers who fought two world wars and killed millions of human beings. So either you stop using this word 'terrorist/terrorism' or don't be selective in your condemnation.You want to know about the worst terrorist attack in history? It was carried out by most civilized nation on earth. You got me, i am talking about mighty USA. When Colonel Paul Tibbets and Charles Sweeney nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki and killed 100 thousand innocent people. Even now children are born with deformities there. Or maybe you guys don't consider it as an act of terror because killing innocent human beings is less horrible if sanctioned by Nations or League of Nations. So, USA/NATO crusaders can invade our countries on false pretext of WMD's, plunder our natural resources, or for catching their boogeymen in Afghanistan/Pakistan and bomb our cities kill our children and when we retaliate, we are terrorists because they have got BBC, CNN and FOX news on their side, putting veneer over the dirty actions of their armies and plastering their agenda all over the international arena. Why does Hollywood always depict middle eastern Muslims as terrorists?
I think the problem is that Hollywood tends to make a lot of action movies, and action movies need bad guys, terrorists make excellent bad guys because no one likes them, and the most believable terrorists for an American audience are Muslims. So basically, even though only a tiny fraction of Muslims are terrorists, Hollywood makes a disproportionate number of terrorist movies.On the other side of the coin, Hollywood doesn't have a great habit of showing Muslims (or any other ethnicity) in "normal" roles. Usually, when a non-white ethnicity is called for in a role, it's because the role is specifically written to be ethnic (main character has a black friend, Indian cab driver). If you ever stood in a line at the post office in LA, almost no one is white. In a Hollywood film where the main character has to go to a post office, about 80% of the people are white.As a side note, the other Hollywood action movie villain tropes are (currently):Chinese hackersLatin American drug lordsRussian arms dealersAfrican warlordIt's not personal, it's just that most producers and screenwriters are white males from the suburbs. And while they are not acting out of malice, they do, like everyone else, have a viewpoint limited to their personal experiences. The solution is to get more women and other ethnic groups into the entertainment industry in creative roles behind the camera. For ethnic groups in America, this can be difficult because their home cultures often don't consider it to be a viable career path.
