There are many interesting sites I’ve seen over the many years of internet use, but currently, one I have bookmarked and occasionally return to is Neave.comIt’s not the best for any notable reason, nor is it really useful, but I consider it in the same way as I’d interact with ‘executive desk toys’. One site i think more people should know about is 10minutemail. On this site it gives you an temporary email address for 10 mins and can be used to receive emails.I primarily use it for testing site features but its primary purpose is to be used in place of your email so you dont get hundreds of spam emails when sighing up for stuff, will also allow you to sign up for more free trials ect.

Check out what some underground labels have posted on bandcamp.Search for for labels that release post rock or experimental (rock, jazz, electronic, etc.), ambient, leftfeild, witchhouse or other obscure genres. search for music tagged “cult”.Some artists I know that come to mind are NEWSENSEI, Qebrus, Amon Tobin, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Death Grips. Outside of Google I am not sure that there is one. Now, there are a number of wonderful resources but no one that covers everything. Even a listing of the available resources would be a daunting task. The ultimate, I suppose, would be such a listing with a search function that could search through the resources listed. I hear dream on in my head.

Any of these firewalls and network security devices can detect a proxy as soon as you connect to it. All they have to do to determine if it is a proxy or a web site it to try and connect themselves. If they get a response the security software knows it’s a proxy and you’re blocked. The only question is whether the system is set to auto block or does it email the admin and let him do it manually, which can buy a few hours. The other problem is that you are breaking numerous laws by trying to hack a government (most schools are government run) security system. So let’s say you get a proxy to work for a bit. What do you get? A lot of these are hacker pots designed to either steal your information or plant bots on your computer that they can use. Even if it’s not a hacker pot it’s probably loaded with advertisements as that’s how the owner is making money. In either case the owner has no incentive to provide fast response or high bandwidth.
