Increase trumpet range quickly and easily??? big concerts coming up.... need high range.. plz help thanks?

hello, fellow jazz trumpeters. I am a freshman in high school and i can hit a high E on a good day. i would like my range to be well above a G (one octave above the G on the top space of the staff) by the years end.

WITHOUT BUYING ANYTHING, is there any simple exercises or tricks i can do to improve range. nothing that will degrade my tone or lower range over time, please. Just something simple that will get my range higher. thanks for your suggestions.

Aside from squeeze pages and landing pages, what are the other ways to capture leads quickly?

Things listed already are pretty solid ideas: contests, Twitter cards/Facebook ads, and text/sms all work great and are quick. Be smart about how you set these up and you can even spend a small amount on ads to expand the reach of your campaign. However, writing an ebook or some type of gated material is still a great way to generate interest and build leads. (You don't even necessarily need to finish the book before you start lead gen. Sujan Patel has a good post: How We Sold 10,000 Ebook Copies). If you have a blog, adding pop-ups, exit-intent or other strategies to grab leads anywhere and everywhere is important.(Sidenote: One of the coolest examples of getting someone's attention is Mention's dynamic Title Tag. If you navigate away from the page the tab Title Tag changes to "Don't forget us!")These are just a start, of course, and there's no real replacement for the long-term lead generation a solid squeeze/landing page can provide. A contest or something is a good scheme to kick-off your lead-gen, but setting up a lead nurturing email campaign and continuing to add to your prospect list with optimized landing pages is the best strategy to have overall.

How can I make a short wedding invitation video? Are there any easy to use websites or software for that?

I will suggest you to go for VivaVideo.I have used it in my Android device and it is pretty easy to use. You won't have to put much effort. In case you are searching for a computer software, Windows Movie Maker is pretty good then. You don't have to download any other application. Just search the Windows Movie Maker and you are good to go.

Can you tell me how i can create a webpage.?

If you are a true novice and don't want to spend much time learning how to make a site, I would suggest the current super-popular MySpace. You can quickly get your information up for all your friends to see.

If you are interested in something more, but still fairly simple try GeoCities or Yahoo.

If you are willing to learn HTML I would suggest ATSPACE.COM. You can create a website for FREE up to 50MBs in size. I have two websites through them and the uptime is great. NO ADS, NO BANNERS. You'll need an ftp program to upload your stuff. There's a good free one for personal use called "FTP Explorer". Of course you'll either need to learn HTML or use one of the WYSIWYG programs like FrontPage or DreamWeaver to actually design your site. e-mail me if you need some help...

If you want your own domain and have it hosted, I suggest ReadyHosting. You get 1GB of space unlimted e-mail accounts, FTP access and domain name registration all for $99 a year.

Guitar scales/theory/relative minor etc.?

Music Theory is definitely like a second language! The "key" refers to the organized structure of notes the song is centered around. You know what key a song is in by looking at two main clues 1) the key signature 2) the first few notes and chords. Each key has its own set of organized scales and chords, and each major key has a corresponding relative minor (which is three half steps down from the root note, so in key of C Major, the root note is a C so the relative minor is A minor. Since the key of C has no sharps or flats, A minor doesn't either except for the raised seventh note. A basic major chord consists of the root, the major third, and the major 5th (from the root). A basic minor chord consists of the root, the minor third, and the major 5th). Yes, this seems confusing! It's called the "Circle of 5ths." With a few visual aids you will get it. Try heading down to your local guitar center or similar store and picking up a tablature poster for some quick reference tablature practice, and then also pick up a basic book on scales and keys. When you play guitar, you will most definitely be switching between major and minor chords to go along with whatever harmonies and melodies progressing in the song. All songs have a harmonic progression of some sort (often from root to fifth and back), and all scales have a particular set of notes that go with them (example: Key of C: CDEFGABC. Key of a minor: ABCDEFGsharpA. Key of D: DEFsharpGABCsharpD. Key of bminor (the relative minor): BCsharpDEFsharpGAsharpB).

You could also take a look at the circle of 5ths chart (just google it) for an idea of how keys relate. Good luck and have fun with learning guitar!
