She obviously likes you so just be yourself and obviously dont be too over the top like you are with your friends...just talk to her and laugh at her jokes ( girls love that ) per example my friend ( who is a girl) was saying that her biceps were getting big from tennis and well eversince ill crash against her in the hall and be like auch your major biceps hit me... Realize that people who do that have incredibly low self esteem. They are trying to hurt your self esteem in order to raise theirs. Then do with that information as you will.Just knowing that frees your mind up to so many options:Sometimes I ignore peopleSometimes I agree with them and make fun of myself.(example: Them:"You're stupid!" Me: "That's what my special ed teacher says")Sometimes I re-frame as if they are trying to get me to like them.(example: Them:"You're an idiot," Me:"You don't have to try to impress me, I already think you're cool.")Sometimes I call them out on it.This one can be incredibly powerful if done right. I typically look them dead in the eyes, summon up all the pity I can and say: "Wow, I'm sorry you have such low self esteem." If they don't seem to get it or ask what I mean I sometimes add: "Only someone with cripplingly low self esteem would say something so hurtful." And then I walk away.Obviously you will need to tweak these so they sound like you. Don't copy mine word for word unless it sounds like something you might actually say. It needs to be authentic and it needs to come from a source of confident energy. One that knows that it cannot be hurt by those with low self esteem.

Usually, I don't pay them much heed. The people doing the insulting are usually angry about something and have no idea who they're taking to. To become angry would be to give them control over me and my emotions. I won't allow that. Depending on how persistent they choose to be, I'm quiet, I smile at them. If necessary, I can always make a statement to shut them down completely. By saying something, you run the risk of upsetting them to the point they stop attacking verbally and move on to physical violence.

Why do strangers laugh and taunt me?
It all happened this summer. I was walking to the gym when suddenly a girl saluted me. I looked at her strangely because I didn't know who that girl was so I ignored her hoping she had mistaken me for someone else, but she started to laugh at me. It ended pretty badly because they started to call me names for no reason. Luckily, it all happened in front of the block of flats I live in. Today, a group of 7 graders made kissing faces at me while I was walking home from school. I tried my best to ignore them, but it just hurts that they picked on someone they don't even know. What's wrong with me? I am not ugly or fat at all. I'm quite vain in real life. I just don't understand why those CHILDREN pick on me. I know they're all young and stupid, but they study at a school near my home and I'm afraid that they'll keep picking on me. I can't ask them why they're doing this because they simply take it as a joke. You can't reason with them because they're young and immature. So what can I do about it?
