What Are Some Things Humans Can Do That Other Animals Cant Other Than Be Very Intelligent And Make

Next to humans what is the most intelligent animal?

Scientists have worked to the end of the possibilities and no one knows for sure which animal is the smartest. Of course they have a rough list, but the list is not perfect.

The possibilities could be:

Apes and Monkeys- Very human like. Known to do puzzles that adults struggle with. Can drive a remote-control car if trained. Some are taught to do hand signals which they used to communicate with human.

Dolphin/Whale- Have a huge brain compared to size. Can learn hard tricks. Some trained ones can tell the difference between male and female. If locked under water with a key, can open the door.

Elephant- Can be very amazing artists. Can paint pictures using colors. Can recognize different texture. Can tell the difference between rice-shaped styrofoam and really rice by floating them in the water.

Parrots- Can perfectly imitate human language. Some trained ones can understand some of the meaning. Understands the concept of zero and mammal. Can trained to do hard tricks. Some can beat smart adults at jigsaws and chain puzzles.

Crow/Raven- Can use sticks as tools. When they find hard nuts they can't crack. They drop it on a road and wait for a car to run over it. When they see red light, they fly down to collect their cracked nuts.

Intelligent Design of the Human Eye?

The human eye evolved. No designer would put the nerves from the light sensitive cells so the light had to pass THROUGH them to reach the light sensitive cells. Squid eyes evolved independently from human eyes and are "wired" correctly with the nerves behind the light sensitive cells - if an "intelligent designer" can do it right for a squid, why do a bad job on his "highest creation", man?

Humans see in three primary colours (red, blue, green) - turtles see in four (red, blue, green, yellow). Again humans have lesser eyesight than the "lowly" turtle. Hardly the product of an intelligent designer who made Man specially to be in his own image, is it?

Do any of you think humans aren't animals? What's your reason for that?

We're made of animal cells

We share almost all of our DNA with two other species of ape (bonobo and chimpanzee)

we are basically identical morphologically to other mammals

thousands of other species have sex for pleasure (evidenced by their whacking it off when they're alone)

other species obviously have the capability to love eachother, you've never had a dog if you think otherwise. Lots of animals stop eating when their loved one dies, or just sits around sad.

The most common argument I see is "But we're WAY smarter than other animals, can an animal make a gun or building???" Actually, other animals can make buildings (Bower Birds). But SO WHAT? If a cheetah had laser vision would it cease to be an animal? If a turtle could teleport would it cease to be an animal? Why is intelligence a reason to make us not animals, when our entire body is animal?

Why is it than only Humans are evil, not animals?

First off, it is difficult to believe, but humans ARE animals. I consider them as so, despite the fact that we are very, very different from most other animals, obviously.

The reason most humans are evil is because of the fact our brains are more developed. We have higher intelligence, while on the other hand, most other animals can't compare. Intelligence can always be used for "good", but unfortunately, we humans appear to tend towards making "bad" choices. Humans also have their own ethics, and we choose what is "right" from "wrong". Other animals don't do this. Ethics can be used in different situations for "evil". For instance, an accused terrorist could bomb an American base because THAT person thought it was the right thing to do; them thinking Americans are evil. However to others, that might stand off as evil.

The other reason is because of our emotions and feelings influencing us more than other animals. Usually, we tend to believe those make us good people; rather than sociopaths and psychopaths. However, if it ever gets to the point when we feel greed, envy, lust, pride, apathy, et cetera, those can cause us to do what we consider "evil" things. This doesn't mean emotions in general are evil, however, they CAN be. What could be is different from what is.

To sum it all up, humans are more developed. Our intelligence and emotions causes us to have feelings such as greed, which can destroy life. On the other hand, animals aren't as developed. They don't feel "greed", and other such feelings. They have instincts, we don't.

It is true that humans have higher intelligence rather than other animals. But to me, we are still lacking some common sense. A perfect life form is impossible. Humans aren't so smart, when you think about it. There are always flaws.
