What Are Some Things The Principal Isn

What can I ask a principal about his/her school during an interview?

Ask about the school's expectations for extra-curricular activities, if it is expected that you supervise a club, ask if you are required to do a duty and if so, what that duty might entail. (many contracts have "other duties as required as a stipulation, which can mean anything from study hall to lunchroom, to answering phones in the office) ask what kind of materials the school has available, which textbook series they use, what the curriculum is like, you didn't stipulate high school or grade school, but you might want to ask about what special classes they offer.

Ask about teacher retention, how many teachers quit each year, and for what reason? A bunch of teachers leaving for a contract buy-out is one thing, young teachers leaving because they are burnt-out after three years is another.

Ask about the student demographics. Ask about what sort of things the principal thinks are challenges for the school, and what some of the successes are.

Here's the thing. We get so caught up in wanting a job, any job, that we forget that it's not just about the principal hiring us, it's about us finding a good match. Don't ask questions that you think will impress a principal, ask questions that will help you assess if the school is place you can spend 9-10 (or more!) hours a day at.

What are some things that the pope isn't allowed to do?

Outside of any sins, the pope is pretty much free to do what he wants, although he is expected to follow Canon Law. It would not be a sin for a pope to change it, because a pope cannot bind a successor on a non-doctrinal matter. What the pope “cannot” do is based on expectation, not rules or doctrine. For instance, a pope is expected to pray every day, to deal with church governance, to celebrate Mass, etc. But if he were to absolve himself of this responsibility, it would be met with strong disapproval, but there is no higher authority to coerce him into fulfilling his role.As far as smoking goes, some argue it is a sin, and some say it is not. I think given that cigarette smoking has instantaneous negative effects on one’s health and may lead to a nicotine addiction, it is a sin to deliberately want to smoke. Some people say that the negative health effects of a moderate use of cigarettes are not serious enough to warrant calling it a sin. Also, many people are addicted to cigarettes before they realize how bad smoking is, and that lack of free will is a mitigating factor in subjective culpability. So it’s an open question as to whether cigarette smoking is a sin.

How do you get a school principal fired?

Principals don't need probable cause to search things. You're in school. You don't have the same rights as you would in the general public with the police. You say "you've heard." That's hearsay, to use your rhetoric, which would not be admissible in a court. Just because it's a rumor, doesn't make it true. How many rumors have you heard in your life that, when you found out the truth, weren't the same as the rumor was saying or wasn't true at all? I bet not as many as you think have complained about this guy have actually complained or, statistically, compared to those who have not complained or have said good things about him, it is very small. How many of those people who have complained have had kids who have done something that have gotten them in trouble and should have been in trouble and they're parents who should have done something about their kids a long time ago? In your situation, perhaps he shouldn't have gotten you involved in whatever but it's not a firing offense. Moreover, if there's a union, and there probably is, even if they wanted to fire him, their hands are probably tied. Even a lousy union, like the one I belong to, will fight tooth and nail to make sure a person doesn't lose their job.

Meerkat is right. Document everything. Times, dates, places, who's involved, what happened exactly over a period of time and take it to the school board. Don't get your hopes up though.

How can i get sent to the principals office?

Grade a million- robbery. i did no longer get that it grew to become into incorrect, I felt so undesirable. I cried. Grade 2- Pulling the stuffing out of foamy balls in wellbeing center classification Grade 3- Fist battling some boys Grade 7- i grew to become into accused of plotting "revenge" on a instructor. I informed them I had greater efficient issues to do with my time, and that they've been dropping it and then left. Grade 8- I walked out on a classification the place the instructor continuously bullied me. Grade 9- comparable component with that comparable instructor. finished Cun7. Grade 10- "Your grades are solid, yet your attendance is low." no longer something when you consider that then and that i'm in grade 12 now.

What are some things that the human brain isn't designed to comprehend?

I doubt this form of ingredient is even attainable. what's a theory besides? if your concept have been attainable than i might anticipate that concepts could be created outdoors of the concepts. yet nonetheless... one won't be in a position to think of outdoors of his or her very own being. (concepts you that a individual's being expands you're horizons.) yet...consistent with threat sooner or later we are able to have the potential to reproduction ourselves, perhaps even to the element to copying our 'souls'. At which element over-inhabitants and worldly-political subject concerns could have little fee to the undemanding guy. No, incredibly it's going to be a opt to stay a guy-attractive existence, the rewards of which may be a digital actuality while we die, in any different case prevalent as heaven. $$$ For if this form of place does exist, and there is this form of being as God...i might anticipate that we could do surprisingly plenty something he could desire to. I recommend...why no longer? So why create a device with a guy made soul once you may desire to purely harness those we've already got? I dunno, in spite of the undeniable fact that it quite is smart to me. don't comprehend if that's actual or no longer, yet hi, niether is futurama.

My son has dyslexia and the Principal isn't want to ofter him any help next year what are my rights?

You need to have him evaluated by a nureo-psychologist or psychiatrist who is someone that specializes in testing people for learning disabilities. You need an official diagnosis or else the school doesn't have to give him the resources that he needs. When you get the official diagnosis you than have to allow the school to test him, but once you have an out side diagnosis it's harder for them to say that he doesn't have a Learning disability. Once you get that and the school system to agree that he has a learning disability he's than given an IEP which is an Individual Education Plan which will out line the services that your son will get to help him to learn and to succeed. ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING make sure that the outside evaluation specifies what services the child needs and that he gets these services with other children with his some cognitive level or they might put him in a special education class with kids who don't have his same cognitive abilities. You should also get letters of recommendations from every medical, psychological professional that deal with the child. When I was getting services for my daughter I got letter from her pediatrician, her neurologist, her psychologist and her psychiatrist saying that she needed a small class of children with kids on her cognitive level and with the same type of disabilities. It's not unusual for kids to have more than one disability so don't be surprised if your son is diagnosed with disabilites you didn't know that he had. A was diagnosed with two disabilites that we didn't know about besides the dyslexia and the fine motor skill problems that we knew about. I have a cousin who's a special education teacher and a mother of a special needs child, who says that one disability frequently indicates more than one. Getting a lot of recommendations from outside professionals seems to spike the spokes of the school system when they want to tell you that your child doesn't need the special services. It took me four years to get my daughter out of the general ed system here in NYC to a private school for kids with LD where she's been on the honor roll for 3 of the last 4 years she's been there. Some thing that wouldn't have happened if she'd been left in the general ed program.

Can a high school principal really be allowed to do this?

today when i got to school i forgot to put my cell phone on vibrate and it rang during 4th period history when my friend sent me a text. my teacher took it away and gave it to the principal. all the phones teachers take from students get turned into the principal. we are not allowed to have them back until our parents come to the school and sign for them. so i knew i wasnt getting my phone back til after i got home and told my brother that i got caught texting in class. so i just kinda forgot about it until my brother picked me up from school. well apparently the principal went through my phone and read my texts and chats. there are texts to my boyfriend that i sent after we had sex and stuff that i must have forgotten to delete. she read them all! she called my brother and told him she was concerned for me cuz of the texts she read. she told him all about it. now he wont let me go out with my boyfriend. we had plans to hang out today after i was done with hockey practice(im a goalie) but my brother wouldnt let me go. i will be 15 in 3 days and my boyfriend just turned 16. my brother is so upset with me and its really bugging me. we've had the "sex talk" before and i make sure we are safe when im with my boyfriend. he made me a doctor appointment for next wednesday and i dont really wanna go, but i have to. im upset that my brother is upset and im even more mad that my principal went through my phone and told my business to my brother! thats riduculous. does she even have a right to do that? and also what can i say to my brother to make him chill out and let me see my boyfriend?

What is a principal in a small private company?

A "principal" of a company is a non-legal term that means "one of the primary persons" -- either the owner, proprietor, sole shareholder, director, president, managing partner and the like.

Whether the listing of your name without your consent could happen without your knowledge depends on a number of facts which have not been explained:

What is the type of company (corporation, partnership, LLC, etc.)?

Where is the company organized (which country or state)?

What is the document that refers to you as a principal (articles of incorporation, a registration of some sort, a business license, or some other document)?

You state that you have "no ownership" in the company, but do you have any relationship: an employee, consultant, director, or other relationship?

Please re-post these and other facts, and we will try to answer these questions.

Hope this helps.

What are some real life examples of the principal-agent problem?

--Why doesn't a relator exert some extra effort in getting a higher monthly rent or absolute sale price for a property they're responsible for?  Because they only get a fraction of the sale/rental price in commission, it isn't worth their time, even if the total value to the owner of the property is enough to make it worth it in absolute terms.  (Levitt and Dubner's Freakonomics popularized this effect)--Any field or industry where there is not a good way to measure employee performance, or the operation isn't particularly data driven, or there are political/regulatory reasons why action can't be taken to reward or punish workers based on the data.  Take your pick: things like the DMV are easy targets, but tenure systems in grade schools and universities also (more controversially) lead to this kind of issue.--Any industry where the person who tells you whether you need a good or service also is the one who makes more or less money based on whether you need that service.  Car mechanics, doctors, lawyers, the only limit is your level of cynicism.  :-)--The insurance industry adds an extra layer on top of this.  A true example: last time I went in to get my oil changed, the oil changer noticed a small crack in my windshield (from a rock or something of that sort).  He told me he would repair it for free, because my insurance would cover it (and it's a no-fault item so in theory my rates should not increase).  So, there was a principal-agent issue both on the mechanic, who doesn't really evaluate whether fixing the crack is 'worth it' because it's in his best interest to do it and get paid no matter what, and on my end: I didn't have to pay for it so I said yes without thinking too hard about whether I really needed the crack fixed.--Adverse selection issues, where you can't observe how likely someone is to actually need your insurance.  (See my answer to What is an example of adverse selection?)--Many situations in sports, where once you've locked a player into a long term contract that will last the rest of his/her career, there's not necessarily the same economic pressure to perform.  Or, on the flip side, if a player is about to be a free agent, they might be less likely to do things that could lead to injury or hurt their stats, even if such things would help their current team.
