What Are Some Things To Add To Cities.

What are the things that should be in a future city?

My city should be green, pollution free.Dwelling population should be limited.Infrastructure to convert the garbage in to some organic product and ultimately it can be absorbed by the earth without any damage to Eco- systemEnergy should be from renewable source. All amenities that is essential for living should be made available and it should be on sharing basis. No free lunch.A community dwelling center, to accommodate poor, roofless, downtrodden, to be run on cooperative model.Rehabilitation and earning center for the school drop outs, widows, and unemployed women.Agriculture should be on the Co-operative model and the jobless should be trained to work in agriculture, workshops and earn the same amount of money earned by the so-called white colour job, so that they should not feel that they are being looked down. The money earned in the job is to be spent for creating opportunity, this create a feeling of commune and no one will be rich or poor.Ultimately what more an individual need. Every rich man has to die and he takes nothing with him.It is my dream and is based on Gandhian model of self dependence, enshrined in latest affordable technology.

Why do some cities put things on benches so homeless people cannot sleep on them?

Well contrary to the hateful earlier opinion, not being homeless or poor does not make you more valuable to society. Understandably, a city and its business owners may desire a a tidy crime-free appearance, but taking it out on people who have nowhere else to sleep by blocking benches or removing public restrooms is a cruel solution. Homeless people did not create homelessness. Greed, apathy and economic disparity are at the root.

What are some things to add to my Minecraft town?

It depends on what style the rest of the town is. Don’t build a modern Walmart or a Piggly Wiggly in your medieval city. Don’t build a bunch of dirt huts in a modern area. Make sure everything matches together so you don’t have a friend online who says “Oh there’s a nice hotel, very nice. And an airport, good, good. And a… castle? What’s that doing here?”If you have a modern area, you could build a gas station, a nice park, an office tower, a hotel, a gym, a police and fire station, a hospital, a beach resort(if it’s near the ocean), a dock(again if it’s near water), and maybe add some cars and trucks on the roads. Make a large international airport too. Buses and bus stops are a good editions to the city too. If you need more, look up “Minecraft Urban City” and look at videos or images for inspiration. If you are building a medieval town, you can build a castle, a tavern, an inn, farms, a cobbler, a stable, a market, a traveling merchant with a horse-drawn cart. You could add shops, a tailor, a carpenter place, or a bakery. Make sure you have enough houses that the townfolk have a place to live instead of having to come in from other cities nearby. I would recommend looking up “Medieval Jobs” and building places for those people to work.I can add more if people want me to.Hope this helped!

What are some awesome things to do in New York that are not in the standard guide books?

Every resident or visitor in New York City would be remiss if he or she did not put browsing the night party scene a handful of times at the top of his or her to-do list. Additionally, many touring musicians stop into NYC regularly and play shows at nightlife venues both well-known and obscure. Along with Las Vegas, Miami, and Los Angeles, New York City is one of the nightlife capitals of the U.S., if not the entire world. The Big Apple boasts nightlife venue variety numbering in the several hundreds, with new ones popping up every day. A few of these venues are iconic, world-renowned spaces with multimillion-dollar sound and lighting systems, not to mention beautiful, interesting, ambitious, energetic people for which NYC is known. For these top-tier cities like New York, out-of-towners visit specifically to partake in late nights out, and so the party scenes there are pretty crazy on weekends and do not let up much during the week. That being said, as you would expect, during the week the pool of options is smaller, the hotspots are less obvious and always changing, and you’re more apt to be surrounded by locals (who are less likely to be interested in meeting and mingling with tourists). In addition, elite locals in these top-tier markets prefer to go out in the nightlife scene Mon/Tue/Wed to enjoy a higher degree of privacy/exclusivity, as do the creatives, entrepreneurs, and local working-class twentysomethings and thirtysomethings who spend their weekends toiling within the massive service/tourism industries of a big city like New York.To get a gauge of how prevalent and diverse the nightlife scene in NYC is and find your cup of tea, you can use the Discotech app - http://www.discotech.me/app - to browse events by specific days of the week, holidays, or dates you’ll be in town. Then, you can even take the next step within the app, using its features to buy tickets, sign up for guest lists, or even reserve tables if you’re feeling super-fancy. The app event info refreshes daily, pulling from various New York entertainment online resources including the official websites of the nightclubs themselves, so it’s always current, accurate, and in the know.Hope this helps, and hope you have a fun time in The City That Never Sleeps!

What is a long list of basic things that every city should have?

First and foremost, any list you start MUST begin with adequate sewer and water capacity.Everything else has to revolve around that or the city will not function properly.

Do you ever build cities in Minecraft? If so, do you fully add interior stuff?

I usually like building medieval castles in the middle and make a city around in in a spiral as I go. I set up four points at the same distance from the castle and make 4 big towers. I don’t use world edit or mods.I add interior as much as I can. I add a lot of wheat scattered around and make lot of custom trees.I use the same palette for every house so that the city matches, my palette usually includes; spruce wood, stone bricks, spruce fence, black stained glass, brick stairs, spruce planks and spruce stairs.I outline the roofs with brick stairs and fill the inside with spruce stairs.I outline the brick walls I make with spruce wood.I outline the windows with upside down stairs.I outline everything.

What are the best cities to visit in Germany?

I would add Koblenz to your list.  It's a nice place central in the Rhein valley.  Plenty of opportunities to try the local world-famous wines, there.Duesseldorf probably wouldn't be on my list - except for the Altstadt I don't feel that there is as much to see there.  You may have other good reasons for being there, though.Munich is worth it to get the feel of Bavarian culture, which is distinctly different from the rest of Germany.Berlin is one of my favourite cities in the world.I would also consider spending time in smaller towns in more out-of-the-way places, to get an idea of a different side of German culture.  Place like Goettigen, Hameln, and Marburg (there are plenty more)8 locations means you are spending 4 days in each, with one day travel between them.  That isn't too bad.

What are some major cities in the tundra biome?

"Because of the harsh climate, there are relatively few cities found within a tundra biome, but most are within the very high latitudes of the northern hemisphere in the northern areas of Canada, Alaska, Russia, Norway, Iceland and Greenland.

Canadian cities in the tundra include settlements along Canada's extreme northern frontier and along the Arctic Ocean, in the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut provinces. These cities include Tuktoyaktuk, Inuvik, Aklavik, Fort McPherson, Old Crow, Iqaluit and Qausuittuq.

Alaskan cities in the tundra include settlements along the state's extreme west and north coasts. These cities include Nome, Unalakleet, Kotzebue, Point Hope, Wainwright, Barrow and Kaktovik.

Russian cities in the tundra include settlements along Russia's northern frontier along the Arctic Ocean. These cities include Murmansk, Polyarnyy, Matochkin Shar, Kahabarovo, Kara, Dikson, Nordvik, Ust'-Olenek, Tiksi, Kazach'ye, Allaykha, Ambarchik, and Anadyr."

It also mentions on that same web-page, towns in Greenland, the northern coast of Iceland and the northern coast of Norway / Svalbard. Of all these towns, the only one of SIGNIFICANCE are MURMANSK (Russia), DIKSON (Russia) & NOME (Alaska).

You can probably include CHURCHILL in Manitoba, Canada as well even though its not in the list above (bit this isn't a major city by any means.)
