Disadvantages would be the fame and publicity if you're more of a private person, and knowing that many people would be aware of any mistakes you made. Some are also bound to dislike you. Psychologically, you may constantly feel like you have to live up to the publics' - and your own - expectations, fear that you'll 'mess up', and maybe always want to out-do yourself.
