Is it good to have a deep voice?
Dear Music, I am so sorry you are being teased at school. Middle school kids can be really mean! When I was in the sixth grade, I was taller than everyone, including most of the teachers. I also developed a figure at an early age. I was teased unmercifully. Ha!! In high school it turned out to be great to be tall and curvy. I got the last laugh. The deepness of your voice is not something you can change. I suggest you play along with them. When you are called "Darth Vader" give them your best Vader impression. This way you will laugh together. Honey, this is a temporary thing. As you get older and go to High School, most of the guys will have deep voices. Hang in there Music, things will get better for you. PS) I think James Earl Jones has one of the best voices I have ever heard. He has made a fortune doing voice overs for movies and television programs. Good luck!!!

Do women prefer a man with a deep voice or with a soft voice?
Some 20+ years ago I went to a music festival where the headline act was the rock band ‘Whitesnake’. Other bands were playing that I was really into, Whitesnake I was so-so about, their lead singer David Coverdale had a look that didn’t really do it for me - big blonde highlighted hair, perma tan, tight leather pants - a particular & common popular look within my social experience. I don’t recall ever having much of an opinion about his attraction- until after their opening song, he spoke to the crowd….This deep velvet voice clearly enunciating through the air…. Apologies for the crudeness but I swear Tena Lady could have made a fortune that day! I, along with numerous other ladies visibly went weak at the knees! I’d never heard such a sexy voice before and I struggle to remember another occasion when I’ve heard another voice quite as sexy! Looks wise I saw the same person, but that voice…In real life, I think it’s what the voice is saying rather than tone it’s said in. If you love the person, and they are saying words of care or love, it won’t matter what the pitch is, soft and/or deep matter less than content.
Is having a deep voice good or bad?
If it’s too deep, for some people they might get a lot of “READ ME A STORY” or some stuff like that..And that might annoy some, might not annoy the others.Let’s be real now, it really depends on how you view it. IF you don’t care and you find others caring too much, It may annoy you. If you do care and like it, and realize others point it out. Then you’ll be a happy lil’ boy! :D.But other than that, I wish I have a deep voice to do some voice acting and stuff like that. Just as a hobby though, because it sounds fun!..plus you can make anything sound serious..“My buttocks just got invaded by the elite forces of Nigerian Ebola. Watch now in theatres!..” Why’d I say that.
My voice is so deep?? I'm a girl!?
It is your vocal chords. When we get older, our vocal chords change. That's why we don't sound like a baby's voice or even a teenager. There are several things that change our sound of our vocal chords. Straining our vocal chords, strep throat, sinus drainage, excessive coughing, tonsillitis, colds,etc. If your voice starts to get lower then see a doctor. Jo Ann

I have a very naturally deep voice, I get complimented on it all the time and even do poetry and singing on my social media pages, but out of curiosity what is that attracts women?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of having a low voice?
There's lots of advantages to having a deep singing voice. Like previously stated, it sounds way sexier to have more manly vocals! Another advantage is that you naturally have a lot of bass in your tone, while singers with higher voices have to try to make their voice deeper and it doesn't sound as strong. The downside to having a lower singing voice is that you'll need to belt it out more to hit high notes and will have more trouble harmonizing. I also have a deep singing voice, and my advice is to sing every song at a comfortable octave level. Don't ever try to sound exactly like another singer because it isn't gonna happen! Work to capture their style but don't kill your voice doing it! Embrace your strengths and develop your weaknesses is the best way to go. Just listen to Rick Astley's singing on "Together Forever". He has a really macho voice and that song was huge in the 80s! It still is!
Should I be self-conscious of my deep voice?
Yes, they may categorize you, it is normal, you cannot do something about it, just don't let that control of who you are, try your best to show who you are in your behavior, make them believe who you are by your behavior and not by how your traits are, and by sure, you will be a mile away from people thinking otherwise from their misconception.Does that mean you will need to put an extra effort? Maybe, but honestly, everybody can be categorized by a misconception, either by dressing inappropriately, having tatoos, etc, etc. they have ideologies and some may have a good reason, some may be the least if you didn't change your natural traits out of your volition ( I don't think you changed your voice to be cooler, but some change their breasts bigger so they can be cooler). You have to live of it, everybody becomes awkward, you just need to put an effort, and don't take a disapproval because of a wrong misconception all the time, they may just don't find you fit for their needs or have too much with their life.I think you should be self-conscious on everything if you want to do marketing on yourself, but don't go crazy with it, it depends on your goals which all varies to each individual.
