A new, "The Walking Dead" inspired zombie game?
With The Walking Dead graphic novels and the TV series, how hard could it be to make a good zombie game? I think I still heaven't saw a good zombie game. Just take inspiration from The Walking Dead series. -Like if loud weapons are more effective, but attract zombie herds. -You can buy a crossbow, but it's more expensive. You can choose to make one, but you need to find the resources. -You can find survivors to spend a few days with or join them.. or kill them and/or loot them. -You need to make tough moral choices. Like to kill someone of your own clan to save your own ***. -If someone of your group is infected you need to find clues to prove that.. and finally kill them :/ -You can send a scout from your group to the closest store with the risk of him becoming a zombie, or you can go yourself with that same risk and with the risk of your clan zombiefied :) That's all I could think of.. I want more opinions of that kind of game ever being created and your thoughts and opinions about what more would be cool if that game ever came to pass. :D
What are some good adventure, RPG, or psychological horror games for Xbox 360?
Hmmm for RPGs, it depends what you like for example if you like turn based rpgs (the traditional ones like Pokemon and Final Fantasy) then id try Lost Odyssey, by the makers of Final Fantasy, the story and soundtrack is amazing and fraphics ar good considering it is an early xbox 360 game, if you do decide to get it then i would recommend installing the discs to hard drive as this will reduce loading times considerably.Other Rpgs to recommend are tales of xillia, final fantasy Xiii and blue dragon…..again these all follow the traditional rpgs.For a more action adventure rpg then definitely try the fallout series and elder scrolls series (Fallout 3 and Skyrim are my personal favourites and their game of the year editions with all dlc is relatively cheap nowadays) fable 2 is also very good. Mass effect and dark souls series are also very popular with gamers and….of course…..minecraft.For psychological horror games i’d give Alan Wake series a shot as well as F.e.a.r series (F.e.a.r 1 and 2 concentrate on more jumpy nature while f.e.a.r 3 is more atmospheric) well as the metro series and if youre feeling really adventurous, Condemned series as theya good mixture of actual scares and atmosphic psychological horror esque theme too.Adventure games, theyre mor incorporated into RPGs nowadays as youd find the other genres outside of rpg and horror is action fps (like call of duty and battlefield) and sports (fifa, nba etc.) as well as indies on xbox store, anyway back to topic, the only one that comes to mind is Assassins creed series, in particular, Black Flag. Nothing like exploring the vast open seas as a assassin pirate. The other is far cry 3 or 4, again, vast open world to explore (farcry 3 a more tropical island setting and far cry 4 a more himalayan mountain setting)All these games are quite cheap nowadays too. Try as many demos as you can find on xbox live as there is a very likely chance ive missed off other good recommendations but i hope this helps :)
Is god dead???????????
I am currently reading a book called God A brief history, the Human search for eternal truth. Very interesting concepts. One of them is that God is dead. And has always been dead. Hear me out. What has become of Anubis, Isis, Odin,Osiris? At one time weren't they worshiped? And at one time, wasn't their word absolute law? Now we think of them as just myths. Yet, in the ancient times to speak ill of them, was to be hanged or stoned or other treacherous things. Where are they now? They are dead. I think God through out Human history, gives us hope. Gives us something to believe when we are most scared, or at our most vulnerable moments. But alas, he is not real. People can say what they want about Science, but it is ever changing. At one time, we thought the earth was Flat, But now we know better, we know the earth is round. As time goes on, truths are proven to be false. And that is what the bible, and other holy texts are. Eventually the God that is believed in today, will become like the one's above. No longer feared, or inspire awe. Just another myth.
The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 6 (Always Accountable): [SPOILER] Who was the group chasing Daryl's captors? Was it Negan / the Saviors from the comics?
(Spoilers about show prospects, comics)Like everyone has written here, we haven't met Negan yet. If the show is true to the comics, he will be carrying a baseball bat covered with barbed wire called Lucille. It is his trademark.But we will meet Negan. The role has been cast, and no, it isn't Jon Hamm. (That was a big rumor.) It is Jeffery Dean Morgan. He is filming the season finale, which is where the show had said that they wanted him to appear. If Negan appears sooner, I will be surprised, but if I were in charge of the show, I would play loose and fast with "facts" as well. The fun is the surprise.What we saw is just what Dauphin and Mary said: the introduction of a large organized group. Daryl was captured by 3 people who were fleeing that group. Dwight, who threatened Daryl, is a comic character, and now he is a show character. However, he may be doing some things far differently than how the comics portray him. I believe this is going to be a slow introduction to Negan's Saints along with the fate of Alexandria. The show is using the comics, then tossing them away, so knowing the comics just gets us into some familiar terrain, but it won't tell us what will happen.Negan will make the Governor look like the Easter Bunny. Terminus hinted at Negan. If you look at Glen and company as they are tied up, each prospective victim is killed with a baseball bat. That was a huge teaser for fans, but Glen got out of that one as you know.So wait for more buildup. This will be good television.
Will Dead Island have helicopters?
Well, let's remember that, as the previous answerer perfectly stated, it's a melee based game so you'l have maybe an axe, rake, hatchet, and your fist! However it is an island resort so there may be helicopters that were used to give vacationers a tour of the island. Or who knows? Maybe the military came in one of those fancy choppers like a Huey, and they got overrun and the chopper is there to take! (But highly doubtful because the outbreak is so sudden, and the military mightn't risk entering the quarantine yet. Now picture this: You can hire a tour chopper and go to a beach area, where it's wide and open (Lol, dirty mind!) and just go straight, down low, so the rotor things that spin around are hitting the ground, and blast the zombies to Atlanta! (Perhaps that's how te infection in the walking dead started! Ha jk) Good idea. People say you can jst fly away it would be unrealistic, ugh... How far can you get in a damn heli Sherlock! Not far. I like the sound of your idea (Without the death machine in the chopper, that defeats the purpose of 'melee combat' XD I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAAAME!! XDDD
