What Are The Cheapest Net Books

Where can I buy cheap books online in India?

For buying cheap books through internet only in India visit bx-zone.comIt is an Internet used books store where readers, students, bibliophiles, book lovers have been selling their old/second hand books to the readers and students who live near them or in the same city.It is based on the idea of promoting reading among people by providing them access to good condition books at discounted prices. The discounts on books in its used book store vary between 40–100% as the liberty of deciding the selling price is with the sellers onlyThe concept of bx-zone can be better explained with the help of this simple storyArun has been an avid reader and has some of the finest collection of books in his book shelves. However, his bookshelves are totally full and there is no space for another bookshelf in his room.He cannot stop buying more books therefore, he will have to let go of some books. Therefore, he uploaded some of his books in the used book store of bx-zone at 50% of the books’ original price. He set the book’s pick up point to be his work because he thought the probability of people buying his books around his workplace is higher.Jeimy has developed new reading habit and is looking forward to buy a lot of books to support her reading hobby. She is skeptical about buying new books.Hence, she logs in bx-zone and the books uploaded by Arun catch her attention. She observes that the books pick up point is not very far from her own place and she presses the contact button on those books one by one.Arun ,on receiving the interest mails through bx-zone immediately contacts Jeimy. They both meet at the pick up point, Arun hands over all the books to Jeimy on receiving money from her through a mobile wallet and they both move on in their lives. In this way, Arun gets to earn way more money than what a scrap dealer would have offered him and Jeimy gets to read the books at much less price than the market’s. Indirectly both contribute to the environment as well.Bx-zone works without any commissionWhen Arun sold his books to Jeimy, bx-zone didn’t charge any fee from him. When Jeimy bought books from Arun, bx-zone didn’t charge any fee from her either.Neither bx-zone charged any fee when they signed up in bx-zone.It is free to use by individual users and do not worry, there are no hidden charges as well.Cheers !

What's the cheapest netbook?

Find one used on Craigslist. It's easy to find one that's a couple of years old but in great shape for $100-$175.I recommend installing a version of Linux intended for lightweight netbooks like this. Puppy Linux is my usual goto. If in doubt, you can boot it off a USB drive for awhile to try it out.If you're sticking with Windows, get an SD card permanently in there for Windows ReadyBoost.

Why are netbooks so cheap?

They're cheaper because the're not packing as much power or additional features as your standard laptop or notebook.  The idea with a netbook is to be able to quickly connect  and complete simple tasks quickly while you're on the go.  Where as with notebooks and laptops, the focus is more in the lines of power.  They're essentially desktop replacements for someone on the go.  So to compare, with a netbook you're expected to browse the web, maybe surf Youtube, send/read emails, and type papers. With a laptop or notebook, you're getting more power to do more office related and intensive processing tasks.  Quickbooks for financials, simple editing programs, and things of that nature.  Now you're not going to have the full power of a desktop, but the idea is that it's a step-down option that also offers portability.

Are netbooks like laptops?

i mean do they operate the same way? A friend told me netbooks are annoying and i shouldnt get one. She also said that theyre like phones that when u double click on the screen it zooms in? Help!! Im planning on getting a netbook and i thought they were exactly the same as laptops but just smaller

What are the best Windows netbooks you ever used in terms of weight and battery life?

Agreed with Deepak Kumar. I haven't yet had any hands-on experience with the Carbon X1, but Lenovo has been the elite Windows netbook choice for years now with the Thinkpad series.  The Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook is also great, everyone agrees. Almost enough to make me take Dell seriously. However, when you are shopping in the $1.5-2k range on a netbook/ultrabook, you simply cannot ignore a MacBook Air. BootCamp any version of Windows you prefer, and now you have both worlds in one extremely durable and superbly engineered machine.  And in this arena, *gasp!!!* the Apple is actually the same or even less money than the competition.

Are Netbooks any good?

Do they have Microsoft or have the capability to DOWNLOAD Microsoft?

What is the cheapest site for buying traveling tickets?

I check them all on a regular basis for my research, and I’ve never consistently found a site that is the cheapest. It’s best to have a list and check them all. Google ITA, Kayak, CheapOAir, Expedia, etc. Then, once I’ve found the cheapest price, I check to see if it’s available for that same price on the airline’s website. Unless it’s a “mix and match” ticket (two or more airlines involved), it is usually available on the airline’s website. Buying the ticket on the airline’s own website makes it easier to deal with any problems that might arise later.

Where in the UK can one buy netbooks with a Linux distro pre-installed?

Jolicloud and Vye computers have produced a netbook with Jolicloud installed. If Jolicloud is not to your taste then Ubuntu would not be difficult to install over the top. http://shop.vyepc.com/ http://www.jolicloud.com/jolibooksVarious people on Amazon also have Acer netbooks with Linpus Lite installed but that distro is verging on ancient now.Looking at the prices of netbooks on Amazon there are a number of Windows based netbook which are cheaper than the Jolicloud netbook. So it seems manufacturers are either absorbing the cost of the Windows license or charging a premium for Linux "support". The cheapest option really seems to be to install your preferred operating system, on the netbook of your choice most Linux distributions will have curated a list of hardware that works.
