What is environmental pollution?

Environmental pollution is the introduction of harmful pollutants into a certain environment that make an environment unhealthy to live in. The widespread pollutants are usually chemicals, garbage, and wastewater. Environmental pollution is happening in multifold parts of Earth usually in the form of air and water pollution.

Environmental pollution is causing massive damage to the ecosystem that organisms depend upon the health of this environment to live in. Air and water pollution can cause death of myriad organisms in given ecosystem, including humans.

In many developed countries laws have been introduced to regulate multifarious types of pollution and to palliate the adverse effects of pollution. Pollution levels must be controlled at all the time if we want to keep our environment safe and healthy. Without proper pollution control, the environment soon becomes unhealthy and nothing will be able to live in it. Preventing introduction of pollutants into the environment is the best way to protect the environment from pollution. To do this it is important to develop ecological conscience of nearby communities and manage waste by recycling.

A healthy environment is prerequisite of healthy life and fighting pollution is definitely the best way to keep the environment healthy.

In what specific ways is the social environment related to health and illness in this country?

Time change and people with it.
Social standards have change like allot and now on certain areas you can't be apart of the community without being involved with drugs and alcohol. Those two things lead to illnesses and can spread out very fast.
But about the health I think that if you live in a very open community there are less chances of going to things like that and that leads to better health.

This is kinda question about where you live, sadly: rich or poor.

We instigated a child protection policy that required those running any sessions for young people to have been checked by the appropriate authority. That person should be qualified and have a first aid certificate. When a CPR was provided we required a trained person at adult and junior sessions. One of our elderly members whilst play tripped and had a nasty fall. She was holding her arm awkwardly. Members had suggested calling for an ambulance but the member refused - she did not want to go to hospital but was obviously in bad pain and could not drive herself home. As the only first aider on site the situation was referred to me. I decided, with the agreement of my coach instructor, to end my own coach assessment session! Reviewing the situation I suspected the injured member "D" may have fracture in the wrist or arm. Her husband could not be contacted but "D" said he was probably in the garden.Offered to take "D" to her local Doctor (only a few miles away) but she said she would prefer to go home. Husband was not there so we went to local Doctor after all who suspected fractured wrist and arranged Xray at local hospital. How would you describe an ideal home environment for a family with children?

We have three children, a wonderful 13-y-o girl, an active 8-y-o boy, and a much-awaited 1-y-o girl who is a true Blessing.

We homeschool and I spend as much time as I can with my children. We go to the park twice a week and try to do educational field trips whenever we can. I like to take each one out once a week by themselves for "special" time with mom alone. Dad works second shift, so he's able to participate in many of the homeschool activities with us. I was just curious to hear what others thought a great family environment would be.

Just in case anyone was wondering :o)
