What exactly do security guards check in entrances of malls, cinema halls, restaurants, etc. with that machine they hold? Were there any instances where they actually proved to be useful?
Here is a funny story which happened to me.This was a few weeks ago at inorbit mall in Bangalore. I walk up to the entrance with my keys, phone, wallet and a Swiss army knife in my pocket. The knife looks like this and is menacing looking:The lady security guard waves here wand and detects some metal in my pocket.Guard: “What's in your pocket?”Me: “Keys”Guard: “Take it out”I took out my keys. She waved her magic wand again and it still beeps as the knife is still in my pocket.Guard: “There is something else there”I was thinking although there is nothing she could legally do to me this could still be pretty embarrassing and they could stop me from entering the mall. Anyhow I take out the knife and hold it in my hand at shoulder height. She waves here wand again and no beep this time.Guard: “Thank you. You may enter”I breathe a sigh of relief and walk right in. Phew.The guard was so fixated on the wand not detecting metal that she forgot why she was doing it in the first place.The tool itself is useful but in the right hands.

How much does it cost to get your ears pierced in the mall booths?
Most booths at the mall will charge you for the studs used to pierce your ears, but the piercing operation itself is free. They want to pierce your ears as inexpensively as they can so you will come back and buy lots of earrings from them. Both my children had their ears pierced at Piercing Pagoda. Their shop was very clean and the people there were very professional. We are all very happy with the results.

The assignment is to describe your favorite place in the world. Mine is the mall because that's where I met the love of my life and father of my son(: but anyway I want to show the irony of it no one really thinks of the crowded malls as their favorite place in the world. So help me plssss!!(:
How do they get cars into the mall to put on display?
there are always large doors with no posts in the middle they drive them through after hours, same as how a car dealer gets cars in the showroom, just longer distance to drive indoors
