What Are The Health Risks In Getting A Tattoo

What are the risks of getting a tattoo up your spine?

I haven't really heard of any risks particularly on your spine, but you can get ink poisoning and diseases if the needles aren't new and the place isn't clean no matter where you get your tattoo. I have a butterfly on my spine right below my neck, and yes the spine is a painful place to get a tattoo. Overall, I thought it all pretty much hurt the same,.. but i can deal with pain so i really didn't think it was that bad. I decided to get a butterfly because it symbolizes a new beginning, or at least that's what it said when i looked it up. I also got it because I had particular colors that I wanted in my tattoo and i love butterflies.

How can I assess my personal health risks of getting a tattoo?

Go in and get a very very small tattoo done on a portion of your body. It can be a fairly small area. I have known a couple of people who just went in and got a small red dot (red will be the one you are most likely allergic to, if you are allergic). It will heal up quickly and you will know (sort of like testing your reaction to hair color or bleach on your skin). If you are really worried just get black work done. Black tattoo ink is the least reactive and least “heavy metal”.However, the articles make it sound like the ink is only made out of cadmium or mercury and that you will die of cancer tomorrow by getting it done. They aren’t like that. I would be more worried about getting Hepatitis or some other blood borne disease. That is a more likely issue if you are worried.Personally, not worried. You can step off a curb and get hit by a drunk driver (and I personally think that is more likely) then permanent damage from tattoos. I have been around a lot of people who are heavily tattooed. Some have had allergic reactions to red, but you work around it. None of them have died from mercury or other heavy metal poisoning (and I have been an adult around it for 25+ years). However in the end, everything is a risk. It is your choice on how you want to handle it.

What are the social and health risks of getting a tattoo?

Single, expertly made tattoos present minimal genuine therapeutic dangers, yet whenever you are managing breaking the hindrance of the skin, there can be transmission of contamination. A few contaminations can abandon you with a baffling result, yet with legitimate healthy skin (and germ-free method amid its creation) most tattoos are moderately sheltered. Despite the fact that it is extraordinary, there are instances of hepatitis C that have been transmitted from tattoos. Ensure the tattoo craftsman isn't just utilizing clean needles, yet crisp ink also. What's more, recall that tattoos should be viewed as a changeless decision (interpretation, don't make this an imprudent, maybe liquor improved choice). There is reason that you see such a significant number of promotions for laser tattoo evacuation.

Why may getting a tattoo be hazardous to your health?

The two most significant health risks are allergic responses to the pigments and exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Whats the risk of blood-borne disease after getting a tattoo?

Minimal in a modern US tattoo shop.Tattoo artists learn hygiene and must use disposable needles and individual ink cups. This is my tattoo artist setting up for my last tattoo a couple of weeks agoThe tattoo machine is covered in plastic, she wears gloves, ink is in individual small cups. She takes every measure possible to assure sanitation.Isn’t she cute? She’s my grand daughter.

Is getting a tattoo on a breast dangerous?

What is it with people answering with criticism and stuff that doesn´t have to do with the question?

First of all, it´s not for me. I´m concerned for a friend. I´m male. Just one person has answered with serious info and a link to mor e info.

I agree in part that a woman having the breas t tattoed might not look too good, but then again, a small one might look good.

Ey, I think big tattoos are thrashy, but I don´t go looking for other people´s question to tell them that, cause I respect their point of view.

Why can´t you guys stick to answering questions you like, and you might be helpful with?

You wouldn´t like it if I went into your questions and answer with critiscism.

Anyway, I´m not going to report abuse this time.

IMPORTANT: what do you mean by if you want to kill your kids? is a tattoo on a breast really dangerous to babies? Please only answer if what you say is based on facts. Thanks.
