What Are The Jobs For Drama In High School

I am taking drama in high school?

If you want to be an actress, you should defiantly take drama and start in school plays.
Drama is like singing a song, you memorize it, read it, and maybe throw in a dance or two.
For the most part, it is not embarrassing because it is just ACTING. think about how many people
have to play retards in movies or on television, I'm pretty sure they are all level-headed people in reality.

Why is there a lot of drama in high school?

Because a bunch of kids are forced together in one area. But the drama actually continues on, believe it or not, at many jobs once you guys grow up and move on. It still happens in adult areas, neighborhoods, all kinds of places where different personalities are smashed together in one spot=)

What kind of job can I get as a teenager in high school?

The type of job you can get largely depends on your skill set. This holds true regardless of your age. Most people at your age get jobs in local businesses or at summer camps, though those are not the only options. As a high schooler, while it is difficult, you can still get internships that pay far above minimum wage. The exact wage will depend on your qualifications and the field you get an internship in, but there are a lot of opportunities out there. If you are interested in tech internships, I suggest that you find some way to develop contacts and start building your portfolio. If you are talented or extremely knowledgeable about a particular subject, then you can become a tutor in that subject. People are always willing to pay well for good tutors, and you can easily cash in on that. There are several different non traditional possibilities as well. You could try selling stuff on amazon or ebay. You could post instructional videos on places like udemy and charge for it. You can develop mobile apps and either charge for downloading the app or make money through ads. The same applies to website development. If you create a truly great website or app, you could perhaps sell it to another company.Maybe you are a really good writer. You could self publish a book on kindle perhaps. Maybe you are a great artist. You can sell your art or perhaps charge people to draw or paint things for them. There are multiple ways in which you can earn money, and ultimately it depends on your skill set. I hope that I have provided enough ideas for you to get started or explore more options.

How did the "cool kids" from your high school turn out?

Well, I've only been to two highschools. The one I'm currently going to, and one in the U.S.I called a friend to help me out, since I still have a year book, I asked her what happened to these so called “cool kids”, and how they turned out after 3 years.Credit to her for helping. That one guy who bullied everyone:He landed in a jail for beating up a girl last year. The guy who always wanted to fight everyone:Also jail. The one popular girl, who called everyone a slut:She had 12 boyfriends, and has two kids. So who's the slut now?The one fat kid, who was kinda a nerd:He lost weight, and now has a girlfriend. The one girl who everyone kinda liked. She moved back to Russia after the school year. That one slavic foreign smartass guy, who was pretty chill:He does comedy standups for the schools talent show every year, everyone likes him.The guy who everyone bullied:He now plays football, and he's pretty muscular. The guy who people knew, kinda liked who was a dancer:He moved back to Ukraine, but would always dance with this other guy sometimes. The short Mexican kid nobody could understand:He learned English, now plays soccer. Who also has girlfriend. The gangster wannabe guy, who always got into fights:Got changed with assault and shoplifing. He got two years of probation, and three months of jail. The guy who was kinda quiet, funny, who always would dance with the Ukrainian guy:He moved back to Russia with his sister and family. Also is a master in the art of smartassery. (Take a guess who that is.)The nice girl who could beat the hell out of anyone, was close friends with only a few people:She has a job, she volunteers at hospitals, and vets. She also pretty much helped this answer. The small group of Russians:They do the same stuff, just more mature and friendly (Pst remember, this school had a lot of Slavic people in it.)The anorexic girl people bullied:She sadly committed suicide. The one kid who was a greaser. He's a friendly badass. He has a girlfriend too.The girl who plays a lot of instruments. She creates her own music, and she wants to be a music artist..This concludes my list. And thanks to my good ol' comrade for helping out with this answer.

What's a good job for a busy high school student?

Become a waiter at a decent restaraunt, yeah I know its hard work and you gotta deal with sometimes rude, impatient, needy customers. The Tips is where you can make your Bank account look good.

I know some folks that work at the olive garden that can make atleast 70 dollars a night in tips, but you have to be a people person.

What should I do if I think Los Altos High School is the best for my clever, but drama-oriented daughter? We are moving to the area in summer 2019.

Los Altos High School is a fine school and as with any high school, there is plenty of drama. Your daughter, I’m sure, will enjoy that (if you meant she is interested in the drama program, LAHS has a good one of those too). The school has good academics for high achieving students as well as good tracks for challenged students. Those who graduate are prepared for college or the job industry.Unfortunately, the drama and academics/preparation for the future are the only notable good things about the school. Low achieving students or those with challenges such as full-time jobs or family issues are often left to fall through the cracks with no one to advocate for them but themselves. The counselors can be incompetent and fail to direct the student to the people necessary, and the vice-principals can be harsh, impatient, and unable to understand the students’ issues. While no school is perfect, at LAHS many teachers and administrators are biased and unfair. Drugs and misbehavior run rampant to the point where all students must be breathalyzed before school events. Security cameras do not deter students from vandalizing or stealing school or personal property nor do they assist students in finding those culpable. For these reasons, I do not recommend Los Altos High School. That being said, your daughter seems to have a capable parent who will advocate for her. Thus, it appears the most of the above will not be an issue. If you think your LAHS is the best for your daughter, firstly think again, and if you still believe it to be the best option, as previously answered, move within the borders of the LAHS district (mostly in Los Altos, though somewhat in Mountain View) and enroll.

I HATE high school, how can i survive another 3 years?!?

I hate high school so much. Its just what everyone said it was, stupid drama, depression, stupid studying >.>
I just went through my first year of high school and i came out twisted! Ive barely enjoyed my summer at all. I keep thinking about how im gonna have to endure 3 more years of this crap. I barely took it this year and i came in feeling pretty confident. Now that ive been broken at the base of my resolve i cant see myself enduring it anymore. Its absolutely horrible, i didnt even take any ap or honors classes either and i still had an incredibly hard time. I get so depressed when i ask any of my smart friends and they rnt even phased. Not phased nor eaten by all of the work. I tried so hard to work but i just get swamped in projects and work. In fact ive got a summer reading project to do, but just the thought of school reminds me of how much i hate it and i dont have the energy to get started or even look at the project i have to do. How am i gonna survive highschool?

What are the pros and cons of teaching high school?

I work at a school that has high school and college. In general, I would say that the pros of teaching high school as opposed to doing some other kind of job are: (1) it is a professional job which allows you to use your training and to be creative, (2) it pays fairly well in the grand scheme of things, although not excessively compared to other jobs requiring college degrees, and (3) it can be engaging to work with young people and to help them develop skills and habits. The cons are: (1) it can be an exhausting job where you always have lesson plans, grading, and deadlines hanging over your head, even on days off and weekends, (2) sometimes high-school age kids can be challenging, and (3) the pay isn’t really enough to buy a house and support a family in most areas. If we are comparing high school teaching to college teaching, I would say this. High school students often have a lower level of maturity because of their stage in the development process. Sometimes this makes them more engaged in class, but sometimes it makes them disruptive or prone to saying whatever comes to mind. High school students are capable of handing college-level material in most cases, and have strong thinking abilities. However, they sometimes produce a bit more drama and emotion. High school is usually an intensive teaching situation. You usually meet every day, all day with classes, although sometimes block schedules can alter this. With college, you often have Monday, Wednesday, Friday classes, or some other combination that allows for office hours and time to do other things. Both levels have their good and bad points. I enjoy my high school students, but I like teaching my college students too.
