What Are The Minuses Of Apple Iphone 4s

Can I use a iPhone 4s in 2019?

Q: Can I use a iPhone 4s in 2019?The iPhone 4S is equivalent to my iPad 2 - 512MB of memory and an Apple A5 CPU - and were updated up to iOS 9.3.5.My iPad2 still works quite well, as long as I run only one thing at the same time. But iCloud, Photos, iTunes Match, even Apple Music, all still works.Apple still supports iOS 8 and above on Xcode, so if 3rd party apps stop supporting iOS 9, it’s either because they really need something only available on iOS 10 (or 11 or, hope not, 12), or because they’re lazy (aka not enough resources) to keep supporting older devices and iOS versions. However, I also have a couple iPhone 4 (not S), running iOS 7, and even those still work for anything mobile related (2G and 3G will never be fully turned off), and like I said above, everything Apple related, photos, iTunes Match, mail, etc., minus Apple Music which was launched on iOS 8, afterwards. The 3GS with iOS 5 (I’ve forgot to update to 6) is the tipping point where stuff no longer works properly. Playing music out of iTunes Match is a hit or miss. Even connecting to the App Store is a pain. Maybe the 3GS would work with iOS 6, though. So the answer depends on what you want to use, but for the core capabilities of the phone, namely as a mobile phone, and for the apple apps and services, and for the 3rd party apps that cared about older devices, it can still be used in 2019, as I still use my iPad 2, and would still use the iPhone 4 if not for the damn stuck home buttons.

My 32GB iPhone only has 28GB?

What are the pros and cons of having/using an iPhone?

My first smartphone was an iPhone and I have recently switched over to Android( OnePlus 3T) . Here are the pros and cons of an iPhone weighed against Android:1.The mail on iPhone is simply the best! The way it is organised and presented is too good. These days I hate checking mails on my Android phone thanks to the cluttered nature in this.2. iPhones are known to have the best cameras of all smartphones. Trust me, I am an amateur photographer myself and I still miss the iPhone camera. The megapixels of an iPhone camera are just numbers coz the iPhone definitely outdoes your expectation for the specified megapixels. Other phones usually saturate the colours in the name of enhancement while iPhone presents your image as true as possible.3. The iOS is smooth indeed and you always get to stand out of the crowd and attract attention just because of your iPhone!4. Siri is really smart and I don't really like the Google assistant.5. iPhones give you atmost privacy and security of information that no other phone can provide. It's the safest, really.6. The contact information in your phonebook includes everything you would want to accommodate, like birthdays, three E-mail addresses, multiple phone numbers for the same person , address, etc which I really miss in Android.7. The calendar app in iPhone is much more organised and easy-to-use. It is simple and professional.Coming to the disadvantages,You have to purchase songs on the iTunes store to listen to them. Else be ready to do the tedious process of importing them from the iTunes app in your laptop. The cost of each song on iTunes can range from INR 12–60.You really can't download anything other than documents and text on your phone. Every website would re-direct you to the iTunes page.Downloaded files can't be accessed easily unless you go to the source page. Any document received via WhatsApp/ mail is available only on WhatsApp/ mail, there is no downloads/ file manager for quick access.4. App sharing is not allowed on Shareit. On the whole, the iPhone is a fantastic phone that's meant to be simple and professional. It is perfect for professionals while youngsters won't find it too good.

Should I upgrade my iPhone 4s to the 5s or 6?

Q: Should I upgrade my iPhone 4s to the 5s or 6?At this day (end of 2018), I’d strongly recommend to go to at least a 6S or later.Nobody knows besides Apple, but I have a strong feeling that next year’s iOS 13 will drop support on the 5S and 6/6 Plus, as the remaining devices with only 1GB of RAM.Or in other words, I’m pretty confident that the 6S and SE (which is exactly the same as the 6S, minus the screen), will still be fully supported on iOS 13.So look around for a SE, if you want to keep the 4″ small screen, or the 6S if you can live with a larger screen. And please look for a model with at least 32GB of storage. You’ll regret picking a 16GB one, unless you really know you won’t be installing many apps or taking photos.Better spend a bit more money and be future proof. An investment on an 5S or 6, at the moment, is a risky one. Unless of course you can find one of those for something like half the price of the 6S :)

Disk space on my iPhone is too full?

Go to Settings>General>About and see if you really are low on disk space, it will tell you your total capacity (minus the space used for the os) as well as your available space. I have filled my iPhone 4 up to capacity with photos and videos before, especially if you have the camera in HDR mode. Delete any apps that might be hogging space, too-- games are serious space hogs.
Before you restore, try to reboot your phone-- hold down the home button and the sleep button at the same time; the power off slider will come up but continue to hold the buttons down until the screen goes black. After a couple of seconds, hold down your sleep button until the silver Apple logo comes up. It will stay up for a minute or so while the phone reboots. Check your available space then.
As far as a restore goes, if you backup your phone first ALL a restore does is reinstall iOS, then syncs all of your content back on exactly as it was before. Unless you have a serious problem there is no need to set it up as a new phone. Generally all you lose is about fifteen minutes of your time while the os reinstalls and your content syncs back on.
