What Are The Odds Of Having A Sinus Infection And A Brain Tumor

Can a sinus infection cause hallucinations?

I've been having a lot of PND (post-nasal drip) for almost a year now, and have a polyp in one of my nostrils. The doctor tells me I have allergies, but the medicine they gave me only cuts the PND down by about half. Lately, I've been having sinus headaches, as well as random sharp pains around my temples that only last about a second. In addition to sinus trouble, I've had dizziness, involuntary eye movement (horizontal, radial, and vertical, in order of increasing intensity), and hallucinations. The eye movement is always accompanied by sinus pressure/pain in my face and/or sharp pains around my temples, but the hallucinations happen randomly (for example, sitting on the couch and looking over to see a manta ray gliding across my living room floor towards me). These symptoms started before I started taking the allergy medicine, so I know it is unrelated. I also had a strange episode a couple months ago where I had a strange sudden feeling (not quite a pain, but more a pressure) near the back, and near the top, of my brain, close to the center, but on the right side, that seemed to move "downward" a couple inches deeper into my brain. I then suddenly got very dizzy, my vision seemed to pulsate, and i passed out for several hours. i researched it, and learned that part of the brain is the Parietal lobe, and that it deals with vision and perception. I'm not sure which of these things is the cause, and which is the result, or if they're even related. Does anyone have any ideas?

Chances of a teen having a brain tumor 20-24?

I have had a headache and eye pain for a few weeks doctor said its a sinus infection and gave me antibiotics, the pain in my head and my eye is going away but my vision seems weird not blurry but just distorted at times my eyes feel heavy they seem to take time to adjust sometimes the doctor said this can be normal with a sinus infection and if it does not go back to normal with the antibiotics then go to the optitions doctor said he is not worried about a brain tumor at all as I responded really well to all of the neurological tests and showed no signs of any tumor being present should I trust my doctor it does sound right seeing as the weird eye issues only came on with the eye pain

I think I have a brain tumor.?

I have ringing in my right ear and tightens in my right temple my doc thinks it's tmj but idk. I just recently had a sinus infection and I just had like a burning smell in my nose and it said that could be a brain tumor. Someone help I'm so scared.

I think I may have a brain tumor but what can I do to convince my mom???

You're very young. It's unlikely, you have a brain tumor. From all the symptoms you describe, it sounds more like stress, anxiety and the natural process of teenagehood. Try to isolate each symptom and correlate with recent actions.

Headaches could be attributed to head colds, sinus problems; flu, lack of sleep; hunger, dieting and stress. Eye spasms might be due to intense repeated work such as computer causing eyestrain. The same goes for tremors of the hands; esp post washing the hands after doing manual labor.

Everybody suffers from forgetfulness and loss of thought with poor concentration skills; and stress. Your digestive problems such as anorexia, or bulimia, might be a contributory factor to your other problems.

For proper diagnosis of brain tumors, you need intensive tests such as Cat Scans, MRI. etc. A medical history is impt. Remember, the onset of symptoms of a brain tumor is..... gradual. It's not a sudden one. In other words, it doesn't happen overnight.

Maybe your mom suspects of your motives: attention getting or sympathy. Sometimes, it might be a question of the "cry wolf." If you have complained before in the past, your credibility might be questionable now.

Signs and symptoms can include the following:

New onset or change in pattern of headaches
Headaches that gradually become more frequent and more severe
Unexplained nausea or vomiting
Vision problems, such as blurred vision, double vision or loss of peripheral vision
Gradual loss of sensation or movement in an arm or a leg
Difficulty with balance
Speech difficulties
Confusion in everyday matters
Personality or behavior changes
Seizures, especially in someone who doesn't have a history of seizures — as with epilepsy, for example
Hearing problems
Hormonal (endocrine) disorders

Again, I reiterate your problems more likely is due to Stress. Observe for any severity. If they gradually increase; you could approach your school nurse, counsellor or teachers to intervene on your behalf to your mom. Can you not confide to a friend or sibling? You have to be properly evaluated by a Dr for proper diagnosis. Your fears might not be unfounded; or without just cause.

Brain ct scan VS sinus ct scan?

You could try this, it works for me.
I bet you just have chronic sinus infections and no brain problems.
I is very painful to have sinus infections. I use this to cure sinus infections. THere are many kinds of bacteria that live in the sinuses, and this gets rid of all the bad ones!.This is the only thing that really helped me --- my Dr. told me about a sinus wash that will kill bacteria.
you need

distilled water
sea salt
liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver from the health food store.
in a glass mix 1/4 cup water with a pinch of salt and heat to body temperature.
add 5 drops each silver and chlorophyll and mix.
using a large dropper (like one used for infant medication) drop 2 full droppersfull into one side of the nose while laying down.
Turn the head and let it drain out the other nostril. Be sure to have paper towels handy. or just use a neti pot, I like this better.
The silver kills the bacteria and there are several hundred kind that can live in the sinus cavities and anti biotics don't get rid of them all.
Do this twice a day for a week, mixing up the mixture fresh each time.
Then do it once a week for maintenance.
There is nothing in this that will hurt you, and it cured me.
I do not have to take claritin, or antibiotics anymore.
best wishes

Can it be the brain tumor?

It's pretty easy if you're a targeted individual tinnitus is caused by cooking with a microwave energy weapon they usually Target your elbow your knee the arch of your foot your back will be pain and swelling if they go overboard because of the expansion of the liquid as it flashes to a vapor. If you take naproxen sodium naproxen it will fix the problem as for the ringing in tinnitus in your ear that is caused by either an ocular implant that could have been done if you had any missing time whatsoever you may have been an involuntary inductee in too deep brain Initiative Program you can thank these wonderful people from the NIH and their Affiliates for that one. The other option is there using an ultrasonic weapon or a microwave energy weapon set the frequency of your brain to begin causing voice to skull phenomenon sorry for your luck you're probably pissed off at Shriner a firefighter a cop or Dr they don't need any real excuse they're all liars so I'll just make up some story or excuse for the public and eventually look at your old neighborhood coming after you calling neighborhood stalking against talking satanic Terror stocking but now they're getting grants from the NIH to do this to us so take a look at Ben Pennington Facebook or go ahead and research mr. James Walbert pretty interesting CAT scans MRIs and x-rays from both of us should shock you into waking up
