What Are The Odds Of Johnny Manziel Falling To The Buccaneers At 7

Why is it so hard for some college kickers to make the switch to the NFL?

I don't think this is limited to only kickers as many college prospects in the past and present have failed to duplicate their superstar charisma in an NFL uniform. The hype of the pros is obvious much different, but the pro game is also a much faster and harder hitting game. There's not many instances in the NFL where you'd see a game like college, where a non ranked team I the cellars of the NCAA faces a top 10 team and gets totally blasted away. Yes blow outs do happen, but they happen in every sport college or pro.The biggest bust that comes to my mind when I think about college players who failed in the NFL is QB Ryan Leaf, selected in the 1998 NFL draft by the then “San Diego Chargers”. He never lived up to his billing in any way what so ever, and his life continued to fall apart after that as well. He just couldn't handle it. As is the case for many players who were good in college: Jamarcus Russell, Tim Couch, Matt Leinert, Marc Sanchez, Brady Quinn, Johnny Manziel, etc.Today's current list of busts is topped off with Tampa Bay Bucs QB Jameis Winston. He may have very well throw his final pass as a buccaneer last week against Cincy, and his future is clouded going forward in the NFL. He just doesn't have that ability that the other elite QBs have and his mechanics as a QB are terrible. With any position, even kickers, the adaption into the pros sometimes doesn't go very smoothly and it tears them apart. I do feel for some of these guys however, because maybe they had a dream of being a professional football player shining when they were just kids and when they had a chance to make their dream reality they folded hard. It's not easy for them and while see struggle to even get a win, you got other pro players throwing for 5000 yards in multiple seasons, perennial 1000 yard rushers and receivers, defensive players who are just monsters, and some kickers that have truly turned out to be on the money, such as current 49ers kicker Robbie Gould.

What teams have never been to the super bowl?

Let’s go by conference. And go easy on me, since I am doing this off the top of my head.NFC:East: All teams have been to and won the Super Bowl.North: The Vikings have been to 4 Superbowls and lost all four. GB and Chicago have won. Detroit has never been to the SB.South: All teams have been to the SB, with TB and NO as winners.West: All teams have been to the SB, but Arizona has never won.AFC:East: All teams have been to the SB, and the Bills have lost 4 without winning. The other three teams have won.North: The Bengals have lost the SB. The Steelers and Ravens have won. The Browns have never been to the SB.South: Tennessee has been to the SB but lost. Indianapolis has won. The other two teams (JAX and Houston) have never been to the SB.West: All four teams have been to the SB, with all but the LA Chargers as winners. So, if my accounting is correct, the only teams never to have played in the Super Bowl are: Detroit, Cleveland, Jacksonville, and Houston. Since the latter three are expansion teams (Cleveland is a hybrid expansion team), this is not surprising.
