What Are The Symptoms Of Not Eating Enough

Can diarrhea be a symptom of not eating enough?

There is a possibility that if you have been not eating for a long time, and then eat a fairly large amount, you could have problems. It would be especially likely if you have even a mild allergy to whatever you ate.It would definitely warrant a visit to the doctor. If episodes of diarrhea are fairly frequent and you are feeling tired or weak, see a doctor immediately, at an ER or urgent care clinic if necessary.

My sister has epileptic seizures and there are several kinds you may experience. Some are like fainting. Stay in touch with your doctor and take notes on what and where and when such episodes occur. There are medications available to control many types of epileptic seizures. You might not be eating due to anxiety over your condition, try to stay on a healthy diet.

What symptoms could we get from not eating enough salt?

Salt is necessary for our bodies to function correctly.

Can not eating enough cause migraines?

Yes, it has to do with your blood sugar. In my case, I had bad eating habits where I would skip meals, etc, and I always got terrible headaches. The doctor did a blood test and my blood sugar was extremely low. She said it was from skipping meals, etc. I now eat more smaller meals but more often a day, actually lost a little weight, and have not had those related headaches. I have had migraines and still get them periodically, and the blood sugar headache is similar in intensity and some symptoms, but not quite the same (but easily confused).

I'll best you have similar low blood sugar issues. Just carry small little snacks like nuts, cheese, carrots, etc, and munch on them from time to time in the day and you should be feeling better.

Also, dehydration is common when you do not eat a lot (many of us tend to drink only when we eat) and will cause migraine like headaches. Carry some water around with you to prevent this as well.

I know, nothing worse than those terrible headaches that make you dead to the world!

You should totally go to the doctor, as it might be something more serious like blood clots or a brain tumor, but these are small steps you can take in the mean time that likely will help.

What are the side effects of not eating enough?

Firstly, I want to tell you that this is really bad. An average person needs 2000 calories a day, and as a personal trainer, if you are trying to lose weight, 1400 calories is healthy, anything below is bad for your body. The side effects are that by eating so little, you are starving your body, so any food you eat, your body stores as energy and then eventually fat, so you won't lose weight by doing this. Also, you aren't getting the nutrients you need, this can lead to skin problems, osteoporosis (weakening of the bones), and organ damage. My advice to you is to eat 4-5 small meals a day, high in protein so eat plenty of things like meat, fish, eggs, nuts etc. as protein takes longer to digest so you feel fuller for longer. Eating 4-5 small meals a day also keeps your metabolism up. Increase your calorie intake to 1400 because you will lose weight steadily and healthily. If you continue with this low calorie diet that you are doing now, you will do serious damage to your body over time and the minute you start eating normally again, your body will put on weight because it won't be able to process the amount of food. I hope this helps.

What are the side effects of not eating enough?

Your weight loss has stalled. ...You feel sluggish and weak. ...You're very, very “hangry.” ...Your skin's dry, flaky or itchy. ...You're having abnormal diarrhea or constipation.

What are effects from not eating enough calories?

Yes the symptoms you are experiencing are completely normal hun, no need to worry.

If you do not eat enough 'calories' then you will not get the daily amount of vitamins your body needs. This means your muscles, your overall appearance and fatigue will show.

some other side effects are that you may feel dizziness, fatigue, the will not to do activities. You should eat about 1000 calories per day that involve fruits/veg's, grains, dairy products, meats, etc.

If you will drink water now, it'll make you feel much better, since you need water to survive! Hope I helped.

What happens to your body after not eating enough food, like one burrito for one whole day and the next day you eat nothing? What are the symptoms and what can happen to the body and for a whole week the only thing you ate was the burrito?

At the first , let me clarify that isn't a right thing you want to try. What happens exactly for someone who do that , I don't know . Because it is different from on to another, ( I mean his general health status ) . But I can tell you some facts which will happen for everyone do this . lets suppose that person is healthy .1: In the first day non dramatic action will happen except hunger pain . As the body has stores of glucose ( energy ) will use it to compensate .2: 2nd day it becomes worse, more hunger pain, loss of glucose stores so more tiredness and confusion . As the body use alternative unusual resources for energy ( fat and protein ) ,so more actions you become weak , fatigue and loss of concentration .3rd : you'll go so on as you can and loose Wight very rapid and may go to lots of complications you will not like
