Which is the most scary horror movie have you watched till date?

It depends what kind of fear you're looking for- existential, gore, psychological, etc.My tops though are:ANTICHRIST- deeply violent, but more than that this film will malinger in your skull and make you repulsed by the idea of sharing a bed with a significant other. What cruelty we commit upon each other in the name of love. The Conjuring- Director James Wan is brilliantly skilled at creating an atmosphere where there doesn't need to be anything there to make you shit your pants. There's a lengthy scene where two girls are staring at a dark corner, one describing what she sees there, and it will forever haunt me.Human Centipede- whereas the second and third films are gore and weirdness for the sake of gore and weirdness, the first film does a magnificent job making you acutely aware of how fragile your sense of self is. When suddenly you are one more set of limbs eating the shit of the man in front of you, what the fuck does your identity even still mean?MARTYRS- I was very hesitant to add this to the list. Martyrs is a magnificent film that will sit with you for hours after it's over, but mostly it's just very grim and unpleasant. Right up until the last few minutes. The final frames before the credits are pure nightmares.I Saw The Devil- Wrapping up with a Korean revenge thriller that presents evil and insanity as basically an infection. When you will do anything to avenge a dead loved one, what stops you from becoming one more monster?

Films that are centered around the theme of Hell?

No B horror movies, and I would like something pretty original, rather than based off the inferno or some other literary work. It's alright if it's loosely, but not straight from one. Any Ideas? I would especially like a film from the 70s. Just a side note.

Has anybody ever died after watching a horror movie?

Yes! The Exorcist (original) is supposed to have been a cause of misery for numerous people, some even having been a part of the production and shooting of the movie!"There are tales about ominous events surrounding the year-long shoot, including the deaths of nine people associated with the production and stories about a mysterious fire that destroyed the set one weekend. Actors Jack MacGowran & Vasiliki Maliaros died before the film was released" there were reports of people being institutionalized, women misscarring their pregnancies, and as mentioned above, deaths in the production crew and filming crew itself! the movie is said to be cursed. i wonder why... still gives me the chills when i see it today!!! source: The Exorcist---Frightful Facts
