Who is your favorite artist?

Well Kurt said his idol was John Lennon. Some of his favorite artists were The Stooges, Pixies, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Aerosmith, The Shaggs, Black Sabbath, The Wipers, The Vaselines, N.W.A., Alice in Chains, Tupac, Public Enemy, The Velvet Underground, The Cars, The Knack, The Breeders, Sonic Youth, Black Flag, Young Marble Giants, R.E.M... the list goes on and on. The thing is, he never really said what his favorite song was so I am afraid I cant answer that.... but if I had to guess anything it would probably be something off of Raw Power by The Stooges, but I can be for sure. I do know his top 50 albums, however I will only list his top 5 1. Raw Power by The Stooges 2. Surfer Rosa by Pixies 3. Pod by The Breeders 4. The Pink EP, by the Vaselines 5. Philosphy of the World by The Shaggs.

Who is your favorite team in the AFC? NFC?

The Brady Rule not hitting a quarterback and the Favre rule, he can not lose yet another beyond general time interest with the aid of a container purpose. in demand: Giants Patriots Least in demand Eagles Chargers

Who is your favorite NFL team? and Why?

For Example, my team is Carolina Panthers. I grew up in North Carolina in 1993, but they didn't have a NFL Team in North Carolina until 1995. Best team of the year was... The 1
2003 Carolina Panthers. They made it to the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots and lost against the Patriots. But the best part was, the Panthers gave it their best and earned themselves a NFC Championship Ring. But one day, the Panthers will win the Super Bowl and earn the Super Bowl Championship Ring.

Your favorite small-medium pet bird?

Since you have a quaker, I know you cna handle some noice. My favorite pet birds are conures: Playful, energetic, clowns that find ways to make you laugh in anyways possible. They aren't know for talking, but once you know one you won't care. They are cuddly little guys and although they cost more than a quaker, a green cheek will cost about 250. But they are worth the money! Conures are pretty small, well they are a small parrot, some are larger but the green cheek is only 9 inches long. But I hihgly recommend conures in general. Almost all species are cuddly, even though the Aratinga group can be loud! Have you thought of a black cap? Those little guys are fun as well! Check out these conures:
Black cap conurehttp://www.centralpets.com/animals/birds...
Green cheek conurehttp://www.centralpets.com/animals/birds...
Gold capped conure(I know that this conure is in the aratinga group but they are the cuddliest of the golden trio, my Gizmo never lets me have a bad day!)http://www.centralpets.com/animals/birds...
Dusky Conurehttp://www.centralpets.com/animals/birds/parrots/prt1299.html
Finschs Conurehttp://www.centralpets.com/animals/birds/parrots/prt1279.html
All conures can be great pets, but those conures I listed are smaller and less intimidating as well as quieter than the larger ones, although any aratinga conrue can be LOUD! I'd look at them at least and se what you think! Those little clowns are easy to fall in love with!

What's your favorite Bible verse?

1 Corinthians 13 New International Version (NIV)13 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.P.S. As an atheist, who was not brought up as religious, I came to discover this late in life; The 1 Corinthians 13 is a passage on love, which is the one that moves me the most; strangely enough (not making fun of anything here), the first time I ever “made use” of it was also in an attempt to explain to a non-Christian man why I doubted his ‘love.’ That very experience also gave my the realization that the Corinthians 13, was the best measure for true love; here I am - a life-long atheist, stating that this part of the Bible contains the one true absolute (God is Love, and vice versa)/set of principles, in life.

Yer favorite animal(s) ?

I love virtually every animal, but for simplicity's sake, I'll just narrow it down to a few. My favorites are all canines, felines and pet rats.

I've loved dogs and cats for as long as I could remember. I really, really wanted a cat when I was little. I adored my neighbour's cat, Fluffy, and I was too young to understand why I couldn't have one; my dad was allergic and I was too young to really know what that meant :( When I move out on my own, I plan on adopting one or a few. I'm just fascinated with them and I can't quite put my finger on them; they're misunderstood and I tend to be drawn to misunderstood animals, but I also adore their stealth, their mysteriousness.

One of the first toys I was given was a Snoopy plush, that I still have. I like to think that Charlie Brown's beagle inspired the kickoff of my lifelong love of the species. I got my first dog when I was seven, a Basset Hound named Darby who was was returned against my wishes due to housebreaking issues :( I didn't get another until I was fourteen, and that was Hamish, a Scottish Terrier. He passed away on October 22nd, 2007, and not a day goes by that I don't think of him. I just adore the love and devotion that a dog gives you. It's humbling, really.

I fell in love with pet rats from a old-school, Toronto based show called Pet Connection, hosted by vet, Dr. Bernhard Pukay. They had a young lady on there in one episode with a rat, and she said how they rarely bite, how friendly they are, how clean they are; just what I wanted for a small pet! My parents weren't too enthused about the idea, it a took a lot of convincing that they make great pets, but after one trip to the pet store where I got my first rat, Lizzie, they were won over. They are just like little dogs and I've never known another rodent to be as personable as them. Their only downside is their short lifespan.

Sorry bout the ramblin', I just love talking about my favorite animals :)

What is your favourite toy?

It wasn't really a toy but it kept me busy for hours at a time, it was a cotton bobbin with little nails in the top, somehow, cant quite remember how i would wrap wool around the nails and then twist a stitch over using a needle. The wool knitted into like a snake shape that came out of the bobbin. My nan would save me all her scraps of wool to use. It got so long it filled a bin bag, dont know what use it was or whatever happened to it. I allso had a Clanger my mum made ot of a sock, that was quite cute.

What are your favorite photos of yourself?

Behold! Here stands Julia, conqueror of snowy slopes, breaker of black ice and mother of mountains. The first of her name.I have a confession to make. Up until six months ago, I didn’t know how to ski.I had done some cross-country skiing before, but that was way back when I was 7 and had been sent to live with my grandma in Novosibirsk. Imagine my horror, coming from the middle of the Steppes, when I discovered that cross-country skiing was the default sport for Siberian kids.It was rough. My classmates flew across the snow like little Russian rockets while I slogged along in the back, getting yelled at by my teacher and fighting back tears.Needless to say, I didn’t have a great impression of skiing. Which is why when I was in the Alps this spring, and my friend offered to teach me, I wasn’t exactly enthusiastic.Friend: “But skiing is so fun, you’ll love it!”Me: “Not interested.”Friend: “But if we go, then we can get the best hot chocolate ever!”Me: “…hot chocolate you say?”Friend: “Yeah, on the slopes. And you’ll be able to take amazing pictures for your Instagram up there!”Me: “Hmmm…I do need new pictures for my Instagram…”Friend: “And we’ll get you a cute new skiing outfit!”…I was sold. My friend knows how to play me.Anyway, turns out learning how to ski when you’re 25 is VERY VERY HARD. I fell a billion times, including on that stupid French butt-draggy thing that pulls you up the slope (chairlifts are better, people!). I cried and I yelled and I got snow inside my gloves. That little slope became an impossible mountain. But every time I fell, I got back up. And 4 hours and a bajillion bruises later, I did that pizza slice shape with my skis all the way down.Victory was mine.I snapped that shot up there, with Europe’s tallest mountain right between my hands, to commemorate the moment… but badass as it is, that’s not my favorite photo. My favorite photo happened five minutes later, when I finally got that goddamn hot chocolate. And it was glorious.Poka poka,Julia
