Employee fell in walmart? Need your advice?
I was working as a cashier. Another employee placed a box of bags right behind me at the register.I was assisting a customer and backed up to help the customer and fell knees first on the floor. I fell so hard I could not move. After a few minutes of sitting there I could finally move. The customer went to customer service and got help. The employees came & called a manager. She stated he was upset. It took him awhile to come. (10 min)By that time I got up. I felt a knot on my knee..when the manager came he didn't want to file a report. The csm said I should go home if I felt pain. Due to swelling I went home. What should I do?

People tend to complain a lot regardless the topic, especially to people they view as friends.As for the woman who gave you an “evil” smile, she might have been trying to give you a nice, welcoming smile that came out wrong. She might have known your name because someone told her.I guess if you think that Walmart’s employees are so rude, then you should look for a better work place or file a complaint.
Should I boycott Walmart based on their treatment of employees and suppliers?
Honestly it’s questions like this that make me question the motives and intentions of some readers. The question itself is general and borderline manipulative.I have a great job. I work long hours because that’s the nature of my position. I have a great salary, medical benefits and 401K. I treat my associates and other managers with respect and dignity. They are paid almost double the minimum wage. They have access to college, Walmart stock and access to the great customers who shop here.So which part of this are you boycotting?As far as the suppliers, they're making more profit and sales than ever in our stores. Do you want to boycott this as well?My suggestion is to find a life cause worthy of respect and admiration. Boycotting a company based on what you think is going on but is not based on reality at all is a waste of the little time we have here on this earth.
How are people caught stealing at Walmart?
Walmart gives every employee a bonus. for catching a shoplifter! This is one reason you see to many people getting wrongly treated in Walmart! They don’t train or hire people with loss prevention background or schooling! There may be a few people in the store with training! Many times they hire off duty officers, but that by no means is that they been trained right!Also push comes to it the officer not going to lose his full time job over a part time work! Since he would most likely lose both!You also see people targeted by race, age, sex! In the loss prevention room! Or the camera room?How many people have bought a item that they needed to hold in there hand because it would fall out of the basket? Then at some point they without thinking put the item in there pocket to answer the phone, or to pickup something else?Or you go to the self checkout line? Because of the 30 other cash out stalls only has 1 checker? So you not knowing how there remote scanner works only ring up some not all of the items in your cart because there to heavy to lift out! Then the guy at the door checks your receipt? Now your a shoplifter! Many times I got home figured out that I rang up to many of the same items screwed my self! All because I was afraid of being called a shoplifter!
Don't you hate shopping at Walmart?
Shopping at Walmart is just a lot of pain in the neck, once you got in the middle area of the place, you will be lost and it will be difficult to get out easily. I think they do it intentionally so you will buy something else. I just hope when there is a fire you can find your way out fast.
Whats wrong with walmart?
They don't sell my brand of popcorn. I have to go down to the seed and feed store for my corn. Other than that I get along with Wal-Mart. Where else can you go to buy ammunition, hotdogs, and some Florida orange juice under the same roof??

I;m 15 years old, and so i haven't ever had a job . And i consider myself a republican. So my question is this:Why do people consider Walmart a bad company? I have heard people at my school saying Walmart gives it's workers unfair wages and blah blah blah , and it takes competetion from other companies. And i don't see why this is a bad thing? Walmart is there to make a profit, not sing Kumbaya and hold hands. And if they raised their workers wages, that would mean they would have to raise their prices, with would in turn make them lose alot of money, cause most people go to Walmart because of the low prices, and if the low prices aren't there anymore, then they go somewhere else with their money!!!So the other companies want to be competitive with Walmart then they just better lower their prices, it's that simple(at least i think it is)...
