What Are Your Opinions On Talking To The Dead Open Minded Opinions Wanted.

Do you think Europeans are more open minded than Americans?

As an American I'd have to say my opinion is yes, there are many things there that people here wouldn't like or want or accept due to these, primitive conservative people, like, with religion and tradition and patriotism and what not. So what's your opinion?

Do you enjoy listening to other's opinions.......?

Opinion as defined by The American Heritage Dictionary:

noun: A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof.

Unfortunately, there are people who feel their "opinion" is actual fact. It is when talking to such people where potential problems may lie.

I remember at a holiday gathering there were colored forks and knives. When asked what color they were almost everyone had a different answer. What I believed to be lime green someone else saw as yellow. And yet another person say the same exact thing as being orange. Am I right in saying the utencils were lime green? No. Is my niece wrong for seeing yellow? No. And orange? Are those colors even close? No but someone saw it that way. Eventually, the only color any of us would've seen would've been "red" had we pressed the issue.

I am always open to someone else's views on a topic. I find it enlightening, I find it entertaining and I find it hopeful. We are all not carbon copies of one another and therefore our opinions shouldn't be either. Never would I try to "grind a point into the ground"......wouldn't grinding it just make it dull? I say my piece and I leave it for others to do what they will with it. Force feeding any opinion is like trying to make deaf ears hear. You want so badly for it to happen but it won't.

I believe it was Friedrich Nietzsche who said:

"You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.”

What does it mean when he wants an open minded girl?

ok, let me clear it out....
We don't like girls who behave like dead bodies in bed but, that doesn't mean the only thing we want are horny ladies!

when I say I like open minded girls it means I like girls who talk and think freely. The kind who doesn't keep a ton of second thoughts. Girls that have their own opinions and thoughts and is not shy to express her thoughts. The kind who would talk freely about sex, future plans etc but that doesn't mean we want open minded girls cuz they do anything in bed.

I know open minded girls don't do everything in bed. But they at least are willing to talk openly about it. It doesn't matter if they do or don't.

Open minded girls express theirs thoughts clearly. So, we know what they want, what they need. And when we know what they want, its easy for us to provide. They don't leave us in a world of guesses. True, that a bit of mystery is interesting in every relationship but, if you don't even know where to start, its awesomely frustrating. And it never lasts!

What I like most about them is that we can talk clearly about anything. relationships are so full of hard times. Its much easier to talk it out if shes open about it.

I am a very adventurous person, I wanna climb the Alps the Mt. everest. I wanna watch African lions. I wanna go to the north pole and take a dip in the ice cold water. I wanna sky dive, bungee jump, scuba dive, drive a jet fighter. Most girls think I am crazy.....LOL only a few don't, they understand me, and they all happen to be open minded.

I hope you get my point!

Is it mandatory to have the dead embalmed in the United States & Can you have a waking/viewing in your home?

Is it mandatory to have the dead embalmed in the United States?
Can you have a waking/viewing in your home instead of a mortuary?

In Europe, we don't embalm the dead, bring the dead to a mortuary to have the body viewed, then bury them. In Europe the body is prepped in the home by washing the body with warm water, massaging the blood down, dressing them, applying the makeup, then the body is rested on displayed in their family room for three days so friends and family can have intimate good byes alone. On day four, the body is moved from the table of ice to the coffin and carried (or driven) from the home to the church, then to the cemetery for burial.

I live in the United States now and don't think I agree with being embalmed when I die. For me, it has nothing to do with European tradition, it's just that I find it disrespectful to the person to cut open their necks and drain their blood out and replacing it with an unnatural substance to the body to have it preserved. Embalmed bodies last in the grave for years. I feel that the body should be allowed to destroy itself naturally. Bodies should be treated respectfully, unmarked, and whole. Not preserved in a grave.
