What Are Your Picks For This Year

Who are your top 5 picks for this years NBA college draft?

Who I think are going to be the 5 best picks for each team:1(Knicks): Ja Morant (Knicks in desparate need of a PG and an offensive star, Ja Morant is the best player in the nation at creating offense, and averages over 10 assists per game. Also worth mentioning that the Knicks hardly ever select the most hyped prospect available, leading to a lot of boos from fans.)2(Suns): Zion Williamson (Current duo of Booker and Ayton is ball-dominant, not particularly athletic, and they struggle on defense. Zion is the most athletic possible prospect, can dominate as the receiver of plays, and not the man with the ball in his hands, and is a very good and exciting defender.)3(Cavs): R.J. Barrett (Cavs need to move in a new direction, need someone who Collin Sexton can complement. Barrett is the best available player in the draft besides the first two picks, is a game changer on offense and defense, and would easily be able to play alongside Sexton.)4(Bulls): Rui Haichimura (Bulls only need a small forward, and are in need of size and toughness at that position. Rui is strong and athletic, weighs a good 235 pounds, and can play inside to allow Lauri to play outside.)5(Hawks): Cam Reddish (Will look to run offense through Trae Young and John Collins in the future, so will look for an off-ball threat. Also not a great defensive team with not a lot of great defensive prospects. Cam Reddish has proven his ability to play off-ball at Duke and has all the tools and IQ to be a good on-ball defender.)

Who's your pick to host this year's Oscar (2018)?

Joseph Vijay (actor)Simply as Vijay, is an Indian film actor and playback singer who works in Tamil cinema.

What is your pick for Album of the Year in 2018?

Tom Misch - Geography - this one is hard not to like. “Lost In Paris” is a fun song.Stephan Malkmus and the Jicks - Sparkle Hard - this is for Pavement fans. I like “Shiggy.” Could only find it live (btw this guy is one of the most influential people in rock, of all time):Albert Hammond - Francis Trouble is worth a listen for fans of The Strokes. Listen to “Far Way Truths.”Otherwise, I think digging into music from past decades is generally more rewarding. I’ve only just been getting into Hole - Live Through This. The difference in how really good music speaks to you right away is so striking. All the rock I’ve heard this year lacks the raw energy I normally look for. I can’t seem to get into Hop Along, Parquet Courts, or Car Seat Headrest, no matter how much the critics like them.A couple other albums on my listening queu are:Twin Shadows - Caer - synth popJanelle Monae - Dirty Computer - r&bAmen Dunes - Freedom - indie rock, “Blue Rose” is a good song.Beach House - 7 - dream pop, previous albums are better.Ought - Room Inside the World - indie rock, these guys are adorableYo La Tengo - There’s a Riot Going On - classic indie rock band, but if you like them, I Can Hear the Heart Beating As One is where to start3Lau - Ultraviolet - cheesy EDMTracyanne and Danny - s/t - Same lead singer as Camera Obscura. “Home and Dry” is a great song.

My 11 year old boy still picks his nose and eats it. Any other parents have a kid w/ this habit? How old?

Thank god he does not do it in public or around me any more. I thought he had stopped until last week when I looked through the family room window to check on him and his 7 year old brother. They had just gotten home from summer camp and were watching cartoons together. There was Justin (11 year old) picking his nose and eating it just like he used to always do when he was three years old..(yuck!) .finger in nose...finger in mouth....other finger in other nostril...goes right into the mouth again. over and over again....I hate to admit this but I can tell he still really enjoys doing it (No!) Should I even mention it? He is setting a bad example for his younger brother who also does it, but at least he is really careful now and never does it in public anymore...only at home...and I don't want to embarass him because he is very sensitive about it. Any ideas? At what age did your kids stop doing the nasty? Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance!
