What Are Your Thoughts On Race Realism Why Is The Right Most Invested In This Topic Is Race

Why are some white people threatened by affirmative action tactics?

I know that not all white people feel this way but I was reading an article about the increase of black enrollment in higher education due to public assistance, and some of those in the forum were incredibly angry. I personally think that most things today have to do with class rather than race but I don't understand why some white people get so upset about affirmative action tactics...is it not enough that to be born white, male, and wealthy in America is a ticket for success? We all like to believe that we live in a meritocracy but it just isn't true.

Why do some whites feel so threatened? They are the MAJORITY, always have been and probably always will be. The civil rights movement was only about 50 years ago when EVERYONE started getting equal treatment...how can 50 years compete with over 300 years of whites being able to succeed without someone trying to tear them down?

I'm not racist, just stating facts...

What's more important to the human race: investing in privatized space flight or poverty alleviation?

In my opinion, poverty alleviation is definitely the more important in the short to mid term - say 50 years or so. A huge chunk of human creative potential is locked away untapped at the bottom of Maslow's Hierarchy, if this section of society could be brought up to the 10,000 dollars a year income range- the rate of research and scientific discovery would skyrocket. This is not a very scientific kind of reasoning, but it's what my gut thinks. Entrepreneurs, scientists and technologists who are from developing countries, or are children of immigrants, have accomplished an incredible amount in the last few decades- imagining that number treble or quadruple gives me goosebumps. What this question assumes incorrectly, however, is that there is a zero sum choice, or dichotomy between privatized space flight and poverty alleviation. There isn't.It's not about one or the other. You can do both. The world has brilliant people working hard on solving both problems. If you've figured out privatized space flight and have a way to make it work economically, but weren't able to do the same for poverty alleviation: go ahead and build a system that works, it is still an incredibly substantial achievement that has the potential to do great good for humanity in the future.

With rise of alt-right, white nationalist tensions, is the USA on the path to another civil war?

No, not a civil war, possibly an ongoing, low intensity insurgency but not a civil war posing an existential threat to the US.The White Nationalists have been growing over the past 30 or so years but they're still pretty fringe. Look at the reaction to the Charlottesville riot, even GOP senators and congressmen are turning on Trump for not denouncing them fast enough. And Charlottesville was the biggest WN rally in decades, and it barely mustered a few hundred guys that had to be bused in from across the country. The recent rally in Boston was even more pathetic, a couple dozen guys surrounded by thousands of counter protesters. The real danger is posed by the WN militia groups and the Sovereign Citizens Movement. The second largest terrorist attack on US soil, the Oklahoma City Bombing, was carried out by a WN militia, and Sovereign Citizens are the number one cop killers in the USA. It's hard to say exactly how many cops have been killed by Sovereign Citizens as the FBI doesn't track them, they spend most of their counter terrorism resources going after Muslims, but if you ask any cop who they fear more they'll tell you Sovereign Citizens. I should point out that SCs aren't necessarily racists, there are growing numbers of black SCs, but most WNs happen to hold SC ideologies. That is, a fervent belief in gun rights and enmity to government and law enforcement. Terry Nicols, one of the Oklahoma City bombers, was also a Sovereign Citizen. So really, you could say the far right in America has been carrying on a low intensity insurgency since at least the 90s. It's just that in the last 10 or so years they've become way more organized and established a political wing in far right media outlets like Breitbart. But I don't think there's much risk of a full blown civil war.

Do certain races have a higher IQ?

Charles Murray, Richard Lynn, James Watson, Linda Gotfredson, Phillip Rushton, Arthur Jenson would argue that on average races vary in average IQ, these are experts so ignore the answers claiming no scientists would argue this.Concerning experts, “renowned scientists” opinions are irrelevant, only the studies matter, and the experts in the field of Quantitative genetics. This is a controversial subject and I mean no offense here, these are averages, but Blacks tend to be less intelligent then Europeans who tend to be slightly less intelligent then East Asians. The average IQ of Japan for instance is 105, compared to the average for Russia being 98, you see this common trend across all countries based on race. The average black IQ in the US, UK and west in general is around 85, note that US populations have some white admixture. IQ is genetically determined as well, and most studies attempting to debunk this have failed, the Eyferth study was flawed in many ways, including its methodology. Almost all race and adoption studies have shown strong genetic correlations, especially when testing for IQ in adulthood. Another important factor is genetic diversity, there is genetic diversity within races, so if this study shows anything it shows that incestuous relationships lower IQ, which has been known for a long time. A good example of how this is incorrect is the Hispanic population, there average IQ is around 90, however, they are a mixed race with both European and Amerindian ancestry. To put it more simply, no, races vary in average IQ, and mixed race children will have an IQ intermediate of there respective parents races. A biracial half Asian half White would have an average IQ of around 102.5, a Biracial half Black half White would have an average IQ of around 90.IQs of Races in the United StatesIQ of Sub-Saharan AfricaRace and IQ: Mixed Populations Part 1Race and IQ: Mixed Populations Part 2https://www1.udel.edu/educ/gottf...https://lesacreduprintemps19.fil...Please do not flag as hate speech, this is not meant to offend but only to inform, this information does not promote Nazism or white supremacy.Speaking of Nazism however, Nazism is not race realism, they believed that Aryans existed all over the world in pockets and were refugees from a long lost civilization, basically they based there ideology of a racial myth, not science.

Opinions needed! Should I do barrel racing or Hunter/Jumper?

You're both probably a lot more suited to Barrels. If you don't have much English experience, and if your horse doesn't, you won't be able to just hop into the disciple and expect to excel at it within a short amount of time. You'll basically have to start from the ground up, and it sounds like you are looking for something that offers more instant gratification. Also, it'll be a lot more expensive to do the Hunter Jumper--you may already have the saddle, but the uniforms, lessons, and training, and show fees will be prohibitive. And you may like it now, but honestly it sounds like you've only dabbled in it. I would invest in some Hunter lessons, see if that's really where your heart lies. But if money is an issue, under your circumstances, and considering the experience level of both you and your horse, Hunter will probably not be feasible in reality. If all you need is a new barrel saddle (which will cost WAY less than the uniforms and lessons needed for Hunter) and the occasional trailer ride (which will cost way less than show fees for Hunter), I would stick with what you know y'all are suited for. Pursue Hunter once you've gotten Barrels out of your system, or when it becomes a little more financially and circumstantially realistic.

And you have the English saddle now--nothing says that you can't be serious about Barrels but play with Hunter in your spare time--just set up some jumps and go for it when the mood strikes you. But I would not invest so many thousands of dollars into a style and discipline you have little exposure and little experience with, especially if you also have dreams of barrel racing. Do the more convenient, feasible one first. Play with Hunter in the meantime. If your interest remains strong, then when the time is right get into Hunter. But for the time being, I would stick with something that's cheaper and more of a sure thing.

Doctor Who has just agreed to teach the world about space race technology. How long would it take us theoretically to advance into a space faring species?

There are people in space now. Twelve men have walked on the Moon, using the technology of the “space race" period (basically the 1960s).Why would anyone listen to somebody trying to “teach the world" technology that is 60 years out of date?

My boyfriend wants to start proffesional car racing. is 27 years of age too late?

It's never too late to become a racing driver, do not listen to the people above me!

However, it takes mare than desire and will!

Firstly, you really do need pots and pots of money, or, if you're a good driver, who can show off a brand well, you need lots of sponsors! Racing teams love drivers who bring lots of sponsors and lots of investment into the team, so get him to start writing now! Everyone, literally! Just write and write and write, phone them up, go and visit their headquarters, keep pestering them until they ask for a meeting, then go there with a mindblowing business plan for them!

Secondly, you need to of started in karts, in my experience, apart from gears, driving karts is the hardest and most demanding type of car I have ever driven, it really is just you that gets you round the corner, and sheer driver skill, so start there! It teaches you car control to perfection, makes you learn when the back end is going to step out and you need to correct, teaches you how and when to whack your foot and everything else.

Thirdly, he and you must be committed to his racing career 100%. If not, he might as well go back to his day job.

I would personally look to go into GT cars. He isn't necessarily too old to go into single seaters now, but this will take time, so you should look at racing Ginettas:

http://www.ginettacars.com/ginetta_championships.php

This is the best way of getting into racing at an older age. You get seen by people and companies because you will be on ITV 4, and you'll be supporting the BTCC and the Porsche Supercup.

Please, if you have any questions at all, feel free to email me.

Finally, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone!
