What is your top 3 sci-fi movie since the 80s?Here’s another type of question I love to answer, one about the 80s and the movies. Once again, soooo many good choices here to pick from. Probably my favorites would be, in no particular order:Star Wars: the Empire Strikes Back. This is probably the best movie in the entire franchise to me.The Terminator. This launched not only a franchise but revitalized Arnold Schwartzenegger’s film career and made him a household name. Still one of the greatest sci-fi films ever to me.Blade Runner - Underappreciated at it’s release, this film has since become a classic and launched a sequel almost 30 years later with it’s original star being an integral part of the story. It left the viewer wondering if Rick Deckard was one of them himself or not.Bonus film: Alien starring Sigourney Weaver. Still one of the scarriest films I have ever seen in my life, it also spawned a franchise that is still going.
