What Beatles Song Could This Be

Beatles song with trumpet?

im almost ashamed to ask this question since i think im quite knowledgeable about music, esp older rock music but ive never been much for the beatles until somewhat recently, and there is a song that i know is the beatles, and has a trumpety part in it. i dont recall any of the lyrics - i havent heard this song in years. i know this probably could be several beatles songs but thats fine, process of elimination will work for me if i have somewhere to start! i almost want to say the tempo switches around... like it starts out sounding one way but then ends up sounding like a different song? it was long ago and i just remember my dad telling me it was the beatles and something to the effect of how you could tell they were on drugs-- which i thought narrowed it down to a specific window of songs but ive yet to find it, its not a rare song - i just havent heard it since becoming a fan haha :)

Good Beatles songs that can be duets?

How about 'Help', 'We Can Work it Out', Hard Day's Night', Oob-La-Di Oob-La-Da, 'She Loves You'. etc.
Those can all be sung as a duet with one person doing the lead (ex: Help')-doing the first 'Help' and then the other person comes in.
Good luck.
I love the Beatles.

What is the Beatles's most famous song?

‘Beatles’- This name in today's date is not just a name of a mere musical band a name of a legend. Its very hard to say that which song of Beatles is the most famous or popular ,because each and every songs of Beatles is evenly famous, even on today date. But if we say that which was the most famous and popular Beatles song of the 60’s and 70’s then my answer will be definitely ‘FROM YOU TO ME’ by beetles.I say this mostly as:-‘From Me To You’, the classic Beatles song was their number one single because it spent seven weeks in the number one chart spot in 1963 due to its success.Wondering why this song was such a hit? You need to take a deeper look at the lyrics to understand. Whilst the majority of their songs are credited to both Lennon and McCartney as the songwriters, it was very rare for the pair to sit down together and write a song. ‘From Me To You’ is one of the exceptions to this as not only did John and Paul write this song together but also shared the lead vocals. And when two legends are proving same effort on the same pitch then that game have to be the best.Perhaps it is simply because this song become great because this song was the beginning of their career prior to any disagreements, but the combined writing of the musical couple allowed the track to transcend the group’s rise to fame.Another reason this song become famous is mainly because this song of Beatles was the The Beatles’ first official number one single in Britain.Although other songs had reached the top of some charts, ‘From Me To You’ was the first to top the Record Retailer’s chart. This song was the first in a string of 11 consecutive number one singles for the band.To get more info about the band Beatles songs and the details story behind them, check The Beatles and Music that makes all sing

Keep in mind that Some of these are shared credits with other Beatles..

Revolution 9 is credited to Lennon, Harrison, and Starkey... As everyone knows most Beatles songs were Lennon/McCartney though on this Track, Paul Mccartney did not actively Participate in the Song..

What Beatles songs have a violin in them?

"Yesterday" has a string quartet.
"Eleanor Rigby" has the distinction of being the only Beatle song on which none of the Beatles play any instrument. All instrumentation is by a string quartet.
"Blue Jay Way" has either a Violin or a cello in it (probably a cello).
"She's leaving Home" has a harp and strings with violin prominent.
"All You Need is Love" has strings in it.
"I Am The Walrus" has strings in it.
"Good Night" has a full orchestra.
"Martha My Dear" has strings in it.
"The Long and Winding Road" had a full orchestra (much to Paul's disliking).
"Hey Jude" has a full orchestra.
"A Day in The Life" has one of the most memorable orchestral movements of all time.
"Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End" has incredible orchestration (some of the best ever).

(there are no strings in "Here, There, and Everywhere)
(there are some horns in "Being For The Benefit of Mister Kite" but there are no strings)

What does "Heavy" mean in this Beatles song?

Heavy... as in heavy or deep philosophically... heavy in meaning to him... heavy in a sexual context... substantial... Lyrically, it is the simplest Beatles song ever written. "I want you/I want you so bad/I want you so bad it's driving me mad/She's so heavy" is the entire lyric of an 8+ minute song... At the time, Lennon was going through something of an artistic catharsis, heavily inspired by Yoko's minimalist art, where he wanted to strip things down to their utter basics, without lots of embellishment. The ultimate embodiment of this phase of Lennon's career is his first solo album proper, "Plastic Ono Band", which is stripped down to just three musicians.

He wanted the lyrics to be as simple and direct as possible. In his last interviews, he said essentially that if you're drowning you yell "Help!", you don't start spinning witty wordplay.

"Heavy" was common slang in the 60's, and it meant "deep" "philosophical", "important", "awesome (in the recent sense of the word)", "weighty", "substantial"... It could also mean "foreboding", "ominous", "intense", "extreme" It really was kind of a vague word.

Incidentally, one of my other favorite Beatles' lines from the "Well it Was The 60's, After All" files is: "Man I was mean, but I'm changing my scene..."

What Beatles songs did McCartney drum?

Paul played the drums in : The Ballad of John And YokoIn fact, both George and Ringo weren't present to record this song. It was an impromptu jam between Lennon and McCartney and they ended up recording the whole songBack In The USSRTensions were high during the White Album. Apparently, Ringo had quit the band by this time. Lennon went on and convinced Ringo to come back. But by the time they came back, Macca had already tracked the drums for Back in the USSR. Apparently, you could cut the tension with a knife.Dear PrudenceFeatures some excellent drumming from Paul. Gotta give it to him, he's a hell of a musician.Honorary mentions:Apparently, Macca also suggested the pattern of drumming of Ticket To Ride
