Is a 660 a good score on the 2013 World History SAT Subject Test?
It is above average - the 58th Percentile. The score itself would be about a B-. However, as only a few dozen Universities even require SAT 2 Subject tests, and those that do are the highest ranking Universities in the country, then only really, really smart students tend to take the tests - thus explaining why your Percentile is so low.
Can I prepare for SAT world history subject test with AP World history book?
The world history sat is almost easier than the multiple choice on the AP in the way that confusing diagrams don’t change what are the solid facts. An AP world history book is good for content but the subject test is purposefully in depth for the purpose of weeding out individuals. How can I crack the SAT world history subject test?
The best way to study the test is to find a whole book on amazon (i recommend the barron's guide) and read through it. Take a few practice tests. Then the week before the test, find a study guide online, read through it, then find a shorter review study guide to read the night before the test. How hard is the SAT Subject test in World History?
LISTEN UP!! Don't worry about hours of the week. Study as much as you can. I took both. I took AP World History..compared to my other scores I got like a 3. -_______- Which is pretty shitty for me. I never got less than 4. I found it hard... The SAT 2 Global on the other hand...EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY I got a 760/800. Enjoy it :]
What's a good SAT world history subject test score?
'Good' is subjective as it varies from school to school. I you want to use it for top tier schools like ivy league universities, you will want to have around a 750 or higher. If you are looking for high caliber schools (top 20-40), above 700 is good. If you are applying to low tier schools, anything around around 650 is pretty good.Hope that helps.
Best study guide for world history SAT subject test?
Ok so first of all, I’d like to say that you need to get an SAT book for us history because apush and the history sat are completely different. For example, the ap is much more specific and generally there aren’t any questions about battles and stuff. However the SAT is much more thematic and have lots of questions about battles (generally). Also, it’s just better to take a bunch of the sat practice tests since the format is a lot different from the ap. Also, for review books, you prolly wanna consider buying 2 for each subject. One of them should be a barron’s book. Barron’s books have super duper hard tests so don’t be surprised if you get a REALLY low score. I know someone who got an 800 on the us history sat but got a 590 on the practice barron’s one….lol. anyways it’s hard but it will really help you. Also get an easier one…any of the big names will do (Princeton review, kaplans…whatever it doesn’t really matter cause theyre all pretty similar.) these will help you actually get in the mindset to take the sats because they’re about similar difficulty. I know I said any of the big names will work but I suggest you don’t buy Princeton review one…because Princeton review generally has tons of summary info in the front. I mean, it’s helpful, but the practice tests are what you really want. The kaplans one has a bunch of practice tests (I think) Hope this helped! Good luck~~~

If you do, take the time to refresh and build upon your existing knowledge.If you want to self-study thousands of years in history in three months, you’re going to need to study exactly what you need to know. Take practice tests (found online and in review books). Drill Quizlet flashcards. Memorize definitions of key terms. Understand the content explained in review books. Most importantly, be committed and focused in your goals.
