What Breed Does My Dog Look Like Pic

Dog breed DNA test? *PICS*?

I was thinking about getting my dog, Camber, DNA tested to see what breeds he is mixed with. Has anyone else done this? And were the results correct? I heard about someone taking their shepherd mix in to get it tested, and it said that it was shepherd, pit bull, and Lhasa Apso, which is kind of strange. And does anyone know the price?

Also, what breeds do you think he is mixed with? He 7 months old, around 29 or 30 inches tall, and 65 pounds. He has a REALLY long tail, huge feet, droopy lips, and webbed feet.

What is the breed of the dog in the picture?

Thank you for the A2A.The dog in the photo looks like a puppy because of the rounded top skull and apparent disparity in the size of the paws compared to the size of the legs. However, photos can be misleading! If the dog were photographed standing foursquare, from the side with the camera lens about heart level to the dog (mid shoulder), it could show that the puppy-like characteristics were created by the pose and camera angle. For instance, from this angle, the puppy’s mouth looks seriously undershot (lower jaw too far back/too small in proportion with the upper jaw) but I strongly suspect that is just due to camera angle and pose.My guess, based on this one photo of a puppy of unknown age, would be black Lab or Lab mix. The puppy’s ears are laced back because s/he is in physical contact with the human, so it is impossible to judge earset. If the puppy were posed standing foursquare, etc, the nature and form of the earset could be judged. It is what it is, though. My guess could very well change if I had more information about that puppy (age, weight, height at shoulders, etc) and/or had a look at pictures from different angles. The most important thing is that cuteness! Doesn’t really matter what is behind this puppy, s/he is here now and will be the individual s/he will be, deserving of love and good physical care.

What Breeds Are My Dogs?

I have four dogs. One I already know the breeds of. She's a 2 year old Lab/Golden Retriever named Cassie. It's my other three dogs that are giving me trouble.

My 12 year old, Princess, is a gorgeous dog. Very gentle temperment. Littlerly can do no wrong. Very obediant. Very smart. And she has had epilepsy all her life. I know she is part border collie. But I've been guessing at the other part/parts of her. I'm thinking maybe Golden Retriever. I'm not sure though.

My little boys are my new challenge. I have 17 week old brothers. Shadow is a big puppy. He's all black with wavy fur. His paws are big to me Small floppy ears.
His brother, Chance, is 3/4 the size of Shadow, same looks, cept he has a few small white patches on the tips of his paws and seems to be a bit more rolly polly.
I've looked on the net and thought maybe Curly coated retrievers, Labradoodles, or Flat Coated Retrievers.

If anybody has any ideas on their breeds, then feel free to let me know.

What is your favorite breed of dog, and why? What do their pictures look like? What are their personality traits?

My favourite breed?OOOOh its the one my Babci would call the Ratowich, a dog with a strong bloodline, absolute strength of character…it’s one people actually search for…those who provide them go to great lengths to make them available because they are so special. They suffer from less genetic problems, and pretty much anyone can find that their size, shape and nature fits into their life. And what is the more common name for the Ratowich?A Rescue. A mongrel. A mutt. A Mixed breed. A “buttercup”, Lab Cross, “indeterminate parentage”….Because they have a good mix of genes in their parentage, they dont get as many “handed down” health problems (they have a higher chance of getting a good gene). They come in a complete range of sizes and shapes. They tend to be more laid back and have a good combination of useful traits. And, because bringing one of these dogs home saves a life. What could be anything better?
