I have small allergies, but I really want a dog. I'm looking for a small size one that doesn't shed. I like Pomeranian, but I heard they shed a lot?!?! What're other type out there?? The only one I can think of is Yorkie...

Just as in art, girl/boy-friends, jewelry, etc., people have different tastes, and find beauty and cuteness in many varied forms. So, while one person may think that Chihuahuas are adorable, someone else might think that Pomeranians are cuter than anything, a third might melt over a Yorkshire Terrier, and someone else goes crazy for a Toy Poodle.I am not a “toy dog person”, but our big dogs found a tiny little puppy that had been abandoned on our property almost 4 years ago. She was not even 6 weeks old, and in terrible condition. My husband fell in love with her, as did our dogs, and she became part of the family. She is a cross between a Papillon and a Chihuahua, and is very smart, very funny, very loyal and loving.If I had to choose, I almost invariably prefer brains first, personality second, and looks third. I might consider the Manchester Terrier, Papillon, or Toy Fox Terrier. But that’s just me. 2 things to bear in mind are the importance of regular grooming of long-haired breeds, and if there are children involved, the sturdiness of the breed - Italian Greyhounds, and some other tiny dogs, are NOT good choices for small or impulsive children, as they can be easily hurt.I’d recommend you first look at pictures and breed descriptions for toy breeds, and after you’ve chosen 3 or 4 that appeal to you, either go to dog shows to see them at their finest, or research local breeders, and see if you can visit to get to know a few in person. Or better yet, call breed rescues in your area, and go see what wonderful rescues they have, who need good forever homes! Once you have an idea what breeds appeal to you, just google Havanese rescues, Pug rescues, etc…, in you area, and call or email a few.Toy Group
Which dog breed is best for me?
I am looking for a dog that stays very small. I am okay with it shedding, being hyper, and barking. I want it to be very cute and VERY tiny. I do have room for it to run around i just prefer small dogs. i like black and brown dogs because white dogs tend to get red around there eyes. But i am open minded. Does anyone know of any good breeds?

In my opinion every pup has its own unique cuteness level. I cant judge how adorable a pup looks by his bread. But still if you ask I think the cutest of all is a stray puppy. Reason behind this is that he is the most innocent of them all.When a stray pup comes to this world he does not get the best welcome. In most cases few of his siblings have died. And most probably he has no idea how it feels like to have human parents like all the pet dogs.For me the innocent poor little pup is the cutest thing ever.
