What Can Happen If You Don

What happens if you don't clean a wound?

Jin’s and Craigpei’s answers are largely correct. Some of it depends on things like how large is the wound, how dirty is the wound, how deep is the wound, and where you are wounded, and how you are wounded. For example, a penetrating (like a stabbing or gunshot would to the abdomen) is practically guaranteed to get infected. By comparison, a small prick by a needle in your arm is unlikely to get infected.BUT, you can die if a wound gets infected. Here is an example of a guy dying from tetanus from an infected wound. Tetanus is easy to get, but also easy to prevent, with a vaccine. But if you are not vaccinated, and you develop tetanus, this is your potential future. You see, with tetanus, your muscles contract, but never relax. This guy has all his muscles contracting at the same time, and since back muscles are more powerful than stomach muscles, they are pulling him into the arched shape you see here-for DAYS on end, until you lose the ability to breathe, then you die. Probably one of the worst possible ways to die, for there is no good treatment, and those few that live, ty[picaly spend 2–3 months in the hospital.BTW, to make it worse, your muscles can break your leg bones, and possibly even your back, so even if you recover, you are permanently paralyzed. In short, clean wounds (NOT using alcohol or hydrogen peroxide), use a topical antiseptic, and cover the would with a dressing.

What happens if you don't vote?

I'm not entirely sure if this is true in all States but in Florida (and I suspect in Most States, possibly with some type of variation) if you Do Not Vote for 2 Consecutive Years, most likely from date of your last Vote to the day after whatever Election you miss 2 Years hence, you are taken off the Voter Rolls and must Re-Register to Vote should you wish to participate again.  And, unfortunately for you, you most likely find out AT Your Polling Place when/if you decide Something or Someone piques your interest again.  You Miss Out...In Florida, Voting (once you've registered) is as simple as requesting to Vote by Mail/Absentee -- all you have to do is request it, for any reason.  When Early Voting Starts the Supervisor of Elections mails you a Ballot -- You Fill it Out, Check a Box Requesting to Remain on the Absentee Roll for the next Election Cycle and Drop it in the Mail.During the 2016 Presidential Primaries, if memory serves, somewhere between 70 and 80% of Votes were Cast by Mail and/or at an Early Voting Location BEFORE Election Day.Going through Election Cycle Advertisement Season can certainly drive ANY Sane Person nuts and if you don't want to vote for Senate, or House, or even President, it's understandable at times...BUT...Personally, speaking for myself, having Run once myself, been a Local Campaign Treasurer/Manager on two maybe three occasions, and Actively involved in every Local Election Cycle in some capacity from 2004 thru 2014, I Truly CANNOT Understand Why ANYONE Would Skip ANY Local Election as, in my opinion, THIS is Where You Pay a Bigger Price...Local City Councils, County Commissions, School Boards, THESE Electeds and Issues are WHERE an individual pays a severe price for NOT Voting.IF you think Washington is Broken, or Your State Legislature is FUBAR'd (think Kansas, North Carolina at the moment), All of these fine Politicians begin here, generally Needing LESS than 5000 Votes.Best Way to See Exactly What the Possible Consequences of NOT Voting can cause.

What happens when you don't cry?

we all have that point where we feel like bursting into a storm of tears, but i understand how what you mean by the fact that society keeps us from crying, but i think everyone needs to let it out at sometime. if you keep them forced in there, it's like you're keeping all this pain, or sadness just bottled up in there. open it up and let it out, so you can actually feel refreshed.
And again, i know it maybe embarassing, but find a place where you can be by yourself. anywhere where you'll be alone and cry or even someone you know you can trust, until you really feel satisfied.

Hope I helped!!
Peace!!

What can happen if you don't file income tax?

The IRS will send you a notice (CP59) if you don't respond by filing your return, then they will send you CP518 again reminding you to file, if you don't file and your income is over an amount then it is sent to the ASFR (automated substitute for Return) they will send you a letter giving you 30 days to respond by filing your tax return or signing the consent form agreeing with IRS calculation and letting IRS go ahead and file for you, if you don't respond then you will receive a certified LTR 3219C and this notice gives you 90 days to file the return, or petition the court(why you aren't required to file) if no reply within the 90 days then IRS will file the return for you and send you a balance due notice. If you don't respond to the balance due notices then your wages will be levied, liens will be placed etc.
It is always best to file your own return, because IRS files you as single one exemption standard deduction, you will owe much more than if you filed you own, interest and penalties at a higher rate.

What happens if I don't get a building permit before I remodel my house?

Technically, when you do a remodel or addition that is unpermitted, any modifications should not be counted when you get the house appraised. So, if you start off with a 1200 square foot 2BR/2BA house, and add an unpermitted 300 square foot bedroom suite, an appraiser should only consider it to be a 1200 square foot 2BR/2BA house, and not a 1500 square foot 3BA/3BA house.

Also, when you sell the house, you have to disclose that the addition was unpermitted. If the buyer finds out after the fact that the addition was unpermitted, they can come back and sue you for non-disclosure of that fact, with the damages being how much less the house would be worth if the addition did not exist.

If the city or county find out that the addition is not permitted (one of your neighbors turns you in, or an inspector just happens to be touring your neighborhood when construction is going on), they can halt construction and require you to get the required permits. This may also require demolition of some of the construction already done, to inspect things like foundation footings, electrical, plumbing, etc. They will then charge you at least double the original permit fees as a fine.

Or, they may require that you make the addition unusable. For example, I toured a house for sale that had an unpermitted bathroom in an outbuilding. And, the seller wanted to make sure everything was legally permitted by the city. But, rather than require the seller to rip out the unpermitted sewer line from the toilet, they required him to pour cement down the toilet drain, rendering it useless.

Also, if you have some work done that is not permitted and you have a fire or something, this additional work probably wouldn't be covered by your insurance. And, if the addition actually caused the fire (faulty wiring or whatever), your insurance company can refuse to pay altogether.

Bottom line: not getting proper permits is not worth the savings of not having them in the long run.

What can possibly happen if you dont eat?

If you don't eat your body does not have the vitamins and nutrients that it needs to keep you alive. You will become very weak and anemic and you will faint or pass out. If you keep on not eating your body organs will stop working, your kidneys, liver, your heart all organs and you can die. If you don't start eating your body will start eating the fat that is left in your body. This is an unbelievable painful way to die. Once you reach a certain point it will not help you if you start eating again. This happens with Bulimia and Anorexia. it is a slow process that the person doesn't notice at first.

This becomes addictive meaning that once you start you will not be able to stop without long time professional help. It is a very, very dangerous thing to do to yourself. You have to just change your eating habits to lose weight. Cut out junk food as much as possible, at meals don't go back for second servings. If you drink pop change to diet pop as it has lots of calories. Be certain that you eat breakfast everyday as that is what gives you the energy to start your day. Eat lots of fruit and vegetables, foods with protein. You have to do it the right way. Any other way that is a drastic change something that you can't do a way of life all of the weight will come right back. Please do this the right and healthy way.

What happens to your body after you have sex?

Emotionally, lots of things change and it's different for every person.

If you are female, physical changes can be soreness that will eventually go way, possible bleeding when the hymen breaks, redness, irritation can happen also. If it was unprotected sex, then semen will leak out and smell like the guy's scent.

If a doctor does an immediate exam and notices tissue damage or semen, then yes the doctor will know the female had sex. If it's a long time after, no, the doctor would only be able to notice that the hymen is gone, but will not know how it happened as other things can cause a hymen to break.

Some girls can have an allergic reaction to condoms. Some can get a yeast infection or a bacterial infection or a bladder infection after having sex....

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

What will happen to your iPhone if you don’t update it at all to keep up its performance?

after a short while you’ll have to daily reject the update proposal, sometimes twice a day and if you are not careful enough you may start it by accident. to avoid this I have set a code on the phone (if you mistakenly start the update it won’t do anything until you enter the code, so in this way you get a chance to abort the upgrade).while being persistent in rejecting the update proposal you can consider the storage space of your iPhone 1GB less. I kept deleting almost daily the over-the-air update files and as soon as I had 1GB free Apple would download it again. There’s simply no way to prevent it from happening. So effectively your storage is reduced considerably. After a longer while (1–2 years) some of your apps will request an OS upgrade in order to install app updates. Not updating apps initially will expose you to some security risks and eventually the apps could stop working because most of them are client type apps connecting to a server (e.g. Whatsapp) which could one day request another minimum client version. (It happened to me on the 1st iPad generation: there was no support for a long time and eventually the builtin youtube app reported that it can no longer reach youtube due to some API version mismatch).

What will happen to me if I don't fill out my census form?

Let me explain how the process works.

Before the census forms were mailed, people hired by the Bureau of the Census personally canvassed every neighborhood in America and made note of residences. Where you live was listed as a residence; and that's why you got a form.

When you fill out the form and mail it back, that form will be compared to the master list, and the residence where you live will be checked off the list as having complied with the law. If you don't send back the form, then your residence will be flagged for non-compliance. later this year you will receive a visit from a census taker from the Bureau, who will attempt to get you to fill out the form again. If you refuse, you will be marked down for non-compliance, and you will have committed a felony for which you can be prosecuted and actually be fined and sentenced to prison. No joke.

I'm not saying that will actually happen; but I'm telling you it CAN happen. So just take a few minutes, fill out the form, and send it back in the envelope provided. It's no big deal. The Census Bureau does not share personal information with anyone or even with any other governmental agency, department, bureau or whatever. The only statistics anyone will ever see (for the next 75 years) are aggregate statistics. Personal stats are private. So just fill it out, mail it in, and you're home free. Okay?

What will happen if I don't replace struts?

Unless your McPherson struts have been damaged by hitting a pot hole in the road or similar, I don't think they necessarily need replacing because a repair shop told you so. Many cars go for 200,000 miles and never need struts replaced. I own one of them. How could the repair shop know your struts were bad by just looking at them- what tests on the struts did they perform? Unless they're leaking fluid or broken, they can't! So first I would get a second opinion just like you do when you have a medical problem. Don't let a repair shop force you into a repair. One option is to take the car to your dealer's shop and simply tell them you want to check the front suspension for any problems. Let them tell you if anything's wrong. You may be surprised that they don't mention the struts at all!!
