What Can I Add To This Tattoo That Will Look Good To Make It Bigger And Longer I Mostly Want To

Could a lower back tattoo make your waist look smaller?

It might not look smaller with a tattoo, but if you got a tattoo designed personally for you for that area, it would enhance your curves. A personally designed tattoo is worth the little extra money because your artist can make it flow with your natural shape and curves. Make it look natural and organic. And he or she would design the tattoo to fit the space, so it wouldn't be a tiny tattoo on a large piece of flesh- the tattoo would fit the area and not be too big nor too small. Good luck to you and happy inking!

Tattoo on the foot? How long will it last... Best answer awarded!!?

the closer you get it to the bottom "palm" of your foot the more it will fade. this is because more rubbing occurs in that area. depending on where you are from, you should try to wait till the spring/summer to get a foot tattoo so you can wear sandals. wearing shoes over a tattoo, epecially a new tattoo will cause it not to heal correctly and fade faster. artists tend to trail you away from doing something that will make their artwork look bad. and if they dont give you that advise, its probably because they dont care and will charge you for touchups because it was your choice to get it there.
as for straight out answering your question of how long it will last, no one can answer that. it depends on how often you are on your feet or wearing shoes etc...

How long will tattoos made with a needle and indian ink last?

tats are forever. they fade, but it will always be there.

How much would this tattoo (but slightly larger) cost? I’d be getting two wings, one on each side of my back and arm.

Bro, this deserves a conversation. This pic, though nice movement and composition, needs some tweaking. Depending on how big you are, how detailed you want it( am redesigning it in my head here) it could be a flat rate or an hourly rate. Hourly could be from $100 to $150 for a reputable artist. Note to you: pay attention to how dark this tattoo is in places. This will not age well as that darkness will keep spreading. And let it breathe a bit more, see how it almost looks ‘dirty’? Again, an aging issue here as you want it to be more crisp in line-work and definitely more of the guys skin as a value in the piece . I am not being a douche here, just want you to consider all of this. A good starting point to a phenomenal tattoo. LOVE the placement and idea. Very cool. Want to see the design with his arm down. IT would really suck if the tattoo looks best with his arm up as will he have to raise his arm all the time if it looks drastically less captivating with his arm rested. It is a tattoo artist trick, take the pic at the BEST angle and just show that. That would really develop this guys deltoid! Like I said, this is permanent and this deserves a ‘question/answer’ debate and deliberation.

How long do tattoos take to heal?

“How long do tattoos take to heal?”Just the tattoos or the skin? Most answers here talk about the tattoo healing in 2–3 weeks, and they’re right, but you need to understand that a healed tattoo doesn’t mean the skin is fully healed and back to normal. While you can have several sessions within three weeks, the skin might not be fully healed. If you take good care of your healing tattoo and follow the instructions of your tattoo artist, your skin might be back to normal in six weeks. Of course, you will feel like everything is healed up when the scabbing phase is over, but some tattoos don’t even scab. I have a month old and a nine day old tattoo right now.The month old tattoo didn’t scab at all and healed incredibly quickly, but if you run that arm under a hot tap, you can still feel the skin is more sensitive than the same skin next to the tattoo. And if you close your eyes and run your fingers over the tattoo, you can still feel some parts of the tattoo as ‘raised skin’.Fresh:One month later:So, a tattoo itself is healed and presentable mostly in 2–3 weeks (depending on size, ink, depth of the tattoo, density and your general health), but the skin might take 6 weeks or longer to become the same as it was before the tattoo.

How long do you have to wait to get a tattoo shaded?

It's not unusual to get a tattoo in several sessions especially a large piece. It depends completely on your body and your pain tolerance. My first tattoo was done in an 8 hour then a 2 hour session to complete the color. By the time I got to hour 8 I was too squirmy for my artist to comfortably finish it so I came back to make sure the color would hold. Personally, I waited three weeks to go back. You want it healed so that it doesn't damage the outline, true, but you also want some distance in between sessions because your artist WILL touch the outline while doing the color and it WILL hurt like hell. If it's still scabbing it'll damage the outline, but realistically the thought of getting a tattoo on top of a healed tattoo (which is essentially what you're doing) is enough to make me wanna wait as long as possible.  Ouch!

How long will a new tattoo be sore for?

Depending on who you got it from. And the size and area you have it put on. And the after care. 3 days. If you get it in a back room in someones house you hardly know. About 2 weeks. Rare occasion but talent is out there shop prices are rediculous and a few guys out there will hook you up for a quarter of the price. Just do your research. Some tattoos look nice when they are done but in reality they butchered you. Or holidays. Or all the true imperfections show after you take a good look at it. I put it like this if you have to put some leather in your mouth to bite on from pain and you have a trail of blood dripping from where he is working. Get the hell out of there

How long should you put lotion on a new tattoo?

you should use a fragrance free / alcohol free lotion 3-4 times a day for a minimum of two weeks or until tattoo is completely healed.

Do not use A & D Ointment or Petroleum Jelly. These ointments do not allow the skin to properly breathe and therefore prevent proper healing.

Even once your tattoo is completely healed, it is recommended to keep the tattoo moisturized to help maintain skin moistened and color retained.

Use Sunscreen on tattoo after two weeks in order to prevent sun exposure, which will also cause fading in color.

How will I know if a tattoo artist is ripping me off or not?

I need a major coverup done on a tatoo on my bicep I got while I was intoxicated. I went to a guy at his licensed shop (A surprisingly clean and nice looking one I might add) and he said he could fix it but it would take numourous sessions at 100 dollars a pop including 100 upfront, and that seemed a little outrageous to me. The size of the tattoo I need covered up is no bigger then the palm of an average man's hand and the tattoo I want is about the same size, with all black ink and a little detail, but does that sound right? How can that cost 500-700 dollars? He says no one around can beat his prices, and theres not many tattoo parlors in South Carolina considering the tattoo ban was only lifted a few years ago. What do some of you experts think? Any advice will help! Thanks.
