What Can I Do For A Makeover

How can I makeover myself?

I believe you are not talking about makeup. Here are the ideas to considerExternally - You can consider a change in your dress code, style of dress- colours, shades, different in fit styles, custom tailoring, types of cloth etc. Different hair cut style, improved grooming, different eye wear also  helps.  2. Internally - You can do more things that are not visible but can be felt by people at some levela) Change your expectations. Fewer the better in case of other, more the better in case of you.b) Change what you value, on consistent basis. c) Change your metrics. Change with what you measure success, happiness etcd) Do any activity that stretch you emotionally on daily basis as long as worst consequences are bearable to you. Be on the right side of the law and ethics. Alwayse) Change for what you allow yourself to feel. We feel sad for somethings and bad for some more things. So, don't feel sad for the things you currently feel sad or bad. f) Expose yourself to diverse experiences on a planned regular basis.h) Increase the diversity of your network of professional and personal friends and regularly interact, indulge, do activities with them. Observe them and ask for their thoughts, feelings and actions

Belk makeover.?

Well, first don't wear any makeup there, they'll usually take it off. Second, consider which counter to go to- they have lots of different makeup companies there : MAC, clinique, Benefit, Laura Mercier, etc.

If you have a specific look in mind, tell them (ie: daytime, evening, glamorous, etc). Give them feedback if you don't like what they're doing. And it's courteous to buy at least one product- the makeovers are free only because they make money from sales.

Also, take a travel mirror with you and if you're about to buy a product (especially foundation) run outside and look at it in the sunlight. The lighting there can be misleading and you don't want to go home and realize the foundation looks too orange/pink/whatever.

How much does a makeover cost?

You really need to think about how far are you committing to this "makeover" and if money IS an option.

I'm going to assume you have at least these essential brushes (foundation/stippling, blush, kabuki, eyeshadow, eyeliner, and a eyebrow comb/brush,) and eyelash curler. If not, INVEST!
DO NOT get a cheap brand of brushes. These brushes, if taken care of, should last you for years (2-5 years).

I'm also going to assume that since you're asking for a dollar amount on make-up, you probably aren't familiar or experienced with using a eyebrow pencil, lip liner, gel eyeliner, etc. so I will leave those out.

Now for homecoming, I would invest in the following:
-foundation primer/base
-foundation
-concealer
-eyeliner (preferably a twist-up pencil)
-eye shadow primer
-eye shadow
-mascara
-blush/bronzer
-lip gloss/lipstick
-translucent powder

Since this may be new to you, I recommend going to some place like Clique or Sephora for you to try on samples and see what you like and looks good. By going to these places, the make-up artists can teach you ways of putting on the make-up properly without looking like a masked whore and tricks on selecting what works for you.

If money is an issue, take notes or ask for samples of the products used and try to find similar colors in a cheaper brand (Cover Girl, Maybelline, etc.).

Products I would NOT skimp out on:
-foundation base/primer
-eyeshadow primer
-translucent powder

These items will ensure anything you put on will stay on your skin while keeping that just-put-on fresh look.

The Route I Would Go For:
-Go to Sephora and get the inside tips and take notes/samples with you.
-While you're there, purchase those 3 make-up items.
-Go to Wal-Mart, Ulta, etc. to find similar colors that will cost much less.
All in all, this will probably save you lots of money ($30-50).

I cannot give you an exact dollar amount on what you get since I have no idea what colors/brand you will chose from, but expect anything from $50-100. Again, it depends on what brands you get.

I hope this helped. :)

Do you have to pay for makeovers at the mall?

This weekend I was thinking about going to the mall to get a makeover to get an idea for how I want to do my makeup at Prom. I was thinking about going to the Von Maur at the mall....does it cost anything to get a simple makeover there?
Thanks

Does any one know where i can get a makeover?

Sure and it's free!!! Contact Mary Kay and they will come over to your house and give you lots of Ideas...

Or go to the lancome counter at Dillard's or Macy's they do your make up for free and then explain how you are feeling and they will spruce you up too...it's free...

Contact a local beauty schools they have hair shows all the time and need models you can get a new style at no charge...

Try calling some of the upscale salons in your area also they also have hair shows and competitions they need models too...

Also you could call a massage school and get a inexpensive massage this will break the stress and also make you feel better...

If you want to pay the big bucks though, call a local day salon they will give you a facial and massage, hair and makeup...for a package price...

If your having clothing trouble and want a new style...call the store in your area that you like to shop a small store, not like Dillard's, like the Limited or Lane Bryant something small, and tell the manager that you would like to come in and have one of the sales people work with you on expanding your wardrobe...ask for a friendly knowledgeable associate...they are their to help...but don't go when its super busy, go when their not busy...you won't get all the one on one you seem to need...

Good luck...smile, and have a beautiful day :).

Does Sephora do makeovers?

Yes!Mini-makeovers are free; they take like 15 minutes. I believe they focus on just one area: face, eyes, or lips. From what I understand, if it's not free, you can spend $50 to get a makeover. I've heard that in this case, they'll sell you a $50 gift card to ensure that you're purchasing something and then will do the makeover. That way you can also use the gift card to buy any products you liked that were used during the makeover.I'm VIB Rouge which is the top tier of their rewards program so I get free makeovers any time I want. If you're VIB Rouge, you can take advantage of that! If not, definitely give your local Sephora a call. I believe you can make an appointment and from there, ask to make sure your makeover is free with a purchase of $50 like I think it is.http://m.sephora.com/store-locat... you can also book online here

How do you give yourself a makeover?

For easy but big changes...

- you could change your hair parting ( I used to have a side parting, now I have a middle and I look so different!)

- have your eyebrows professionally plucked (the beautician would then choose a shape that best matched your face figure)

- dye your hair (but nothing too unlike your true hair color, max two shades from it!)

- go to the gym and eat healthily (obviously doing this gets you into better shape, and gets rid of baby fat and whatnot)

- try different makeup techniques

- whiten your teeth ( just use whitening toothpaste or DIY whitening at home!)
