What Can I Do For My 17th Birthday That

What should I do for my 17th birthday?

So my 17th brithday is next sunday. Either the saturday or sunday, I'd like to do something. At first I wanted to bring my two best friends and my boyfriend out for a sushi dinner, but now my mom is freaking out about it. I don't know what her case is, but I understand her one point of only having an hour of time filled up. What else can I do on my birthday that doesn't really cost too much?

What Can I do for my 17th birthday ? !?

haha thats funny i live in NJ and i'm going to turn 17 too this february :D
i'm thinking of having a sleepover with all my friends (not boys) were probably going to watch a movie on the projector in our basement (we have like a home theater system so its like going to the movies) and then after i'm thinking about getting henna tattoos (i did this for my 15th too) and maybe get our nails done?? im still planning. we might play on the wii in the morning and we'll eat the cake for breakfast. honestly though dont plan too much. i planned a lot before and we just ended up talking and stuff rather than do the games i had planned out

if you wanna have it fancy just have it at holiday inn or something and get a DJ etc.

What should I do for my 17th birthday?

The Formal Party
Since adulthood is veering around the corner, many kids this age will appreciate a birthday party that beckons upon this premise. Formal birthday parties are actually rather easily thrown. Create formal invitations that require an RSVP. A hired catering company that will provide a menu is also advised--this way you can even ask guests on the invitations what their menu choices will be. Most local hotels will offer smaller ballrooms that you can rent for a decent bargain. You can even set up tables with fancy drinks like sparkling cider and juices, which mimic a real cocktail bar. A hired band that performs songs all night or a DJ for dancing and some fancy decorations will net you a formal birthday party that your teenager won't soon forget.

Rock and Roll Birthday Party
Perhaps one of the more popular of birthday party ideas for teenagers is a rock and roll birthday. Your best bet is to find out if they have any friends who are in local bands that they really like. You can easily hire these local bands for pretty cheap and get them to play at your home in your backyard. Make sure that you acquire a live music permit from your local authorities so that your party does not get shut down.

Flashy rock themes include the birthday cake--you can even decorate a print-on cake with their favorite rock band on the frosting; all you need is a picture. Include free music download cards in your party teasers and create invitations that look like real concert tickets that you tear at the door as guests enter.

Video Game Themed Birthday Party
Most teenagers love video games--even girls these days are playing more and more video games. One of the more popular varieties of these video games are games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero. Set up a video game console in the living room and hold showdowns to see can rock out harder. Cool invitations can resemble game controllers and attendees can be encouraged to purchase video game-related gifts for the birthday kid. Offer a prize for the winner of a video game showdown.

I am 20 now. But I remember how I had celebrated my 16th birthday.I was in 11th standard . I don't remember my school memory of that day but at home I had cut the cake which was brought by my brother and it had written “happy bday khushi" on it. He gifted me a beautiful white colour fast track watch which is my favourite watch till and a archives card too on which beautiful lines for me were written. It was my last birthday with my maternal grandparents who lived with us.Also, I got my first smartphone Samsung's galaxy g in active state because my new SIM card activate at that day which was dad's gift .The free data I got along with it which was around 200–300mb was vanished overnight and even all the balance on my phone as my mobile data remains ON all night. Gladly, it was my birthday and my phone get recharged again otherwise I might get lots of scold that how can you exhaust all your SIM balance overnight although I didn't have done anything except downloading WhatsApp that day. So got lots of wishes , at that stage my facebook was inactive because we were in “school” and it was not soo popular at that time. So ya I have good memories of my 16 th brithday and it was celebrated beautifully.

What can I do for my 17th Birthday?

What i did with my friends for one of my birthdays is went bowling! I got a group of my closest friends and we all went bowling. Then later we came back to my house and hung out. We did things like play video games, do activities outside and had a dance party. You play music and take turns seeing who can dance the best, funniest or weirdest. We also had pizza for dinner and then cake. I invited my friends to sleepover to. We acted out sences from our favorite movies and tv shows. Its a lot of fun. We also played truth or dare which is fun to do in a dark place with a mixture of boys and girls.

What should i do for my 17th birthday (boy)?

Im going to turn 17 soon and this seems like the last time i can have an actual birthday party, but I don't know what to do. Sometimes I just tell my parents i just want to eat out and watch a movie or something but i dont want that because i know i will probaly do that again some other time, plus it wouldn't be that fun. I want to invite my friends over from school and the wrestling team but im a little afraid they might get bored. Im a little quiet and don't know if people would come over. I just need help on some ideas because im not good with figuring out what to do for my birthday.

What should I do for my 17th birthday?

I want to do something small with my boyfriend and my best friend. They're really good friends so that shouldn't be a problem. We can do something overnight with my boyfriend there, so I'm not worried about that. My mom's friend lives on a lake about 3 hours away and said we could go there for the weekend but I think we would get bored and it would be awkward with her kids. I don't want to do anything to expensive, but I have no ideas. I like outdoorsy things and girly things, but I'd like to keep it a little less girly so my boyfriend can enjoy himself as well. Also, I do not want to go camping so please don't suggest that. Thanks!!

HELP!! What should I do for my 17th Birthday?

I LOVE the bonfire and getting shitfaced idea. Thats what I would do. Invite all your friends to a bonfire by the beach, byob (bring your own booze)

Hi ! Thanks for A2A .I'm going to start with the easy bit ! Intimacy is NOT something you get for your birthday! I'm glad you said you were prepared to wait because I think you should if you are thinking that immaturely.Intimacy is something that occurs between two consenting adults who have reached a place in their relationship where it is not only appropriate but feels right. Its not a commodity that you can gift or put a price on . Its part of a greater emotional connection to another. So now we have that out of the way :-)The whole idea of a gift is not what it costs, in fact some of the greatest gifts I have ever received have no financial value at all, its about the thought, the effort . Its about finding exactly the right thing for the recipient. I've given homemade gift vouchers for babysitting to stressed out parents of infants. I've given my time to someone who needed it. I've done physical tasks for those for whom that was an insurmountable mountain. None of which cost me a penny but were priceless to the recipient.I appreciate you spent a great deal of money on your girlfriend but presumably you did that from a place of love and respect and to see the joy on her face when she opened the gift. Because if not, I'm afraid you're barking up the wrong tree.If some of the things you want are free but you haven't gotten them for your self already then why could she not get those for you? I don't know her financial situation but perhaps your expectations financially are out of her reach? The idea of buying someone a gift is not to put yourself in debt , its to give freely what you can afford , which in some cases may be nothing more than your heartfelt congratulations on reaching another birthday.I'm afraid I can't provide you with a list of possible gifts because that's not how it works. What I might like or think appropriate for the budget you outlined wont even come close to what you might like. Your girlfriend isn't a mind reader either , so either you hope she knows you better than you know yourself or give the poor girl a clue.Either way - I hope you are gracious enough, love her enough and are empathic enough , that when you open her gift which may well have taken her much soul searching and shopping that you can express delight and surprise and thanks. After all - it IS the thought that counts not the money !!Happy Birthday :-)
