What Can I Do To Live A More Fit Green Life

Can pacman frogs live with green anoles?

Not for very long.

Pacman frogs will eat anything that fits in their mouths, including anoles.

What are some ways I can "go green"?

So far all I do is: recycle, donate clothes and other belongings to Good Will or Plato's Closet when I dont want/dont fit in them anymore, and unplug my cell phone charger when it's not in use. What are some other ways I can "go green?"

Looking to live an environmentally friendly life?

hi, im just looking to live a more environmentally friendly life and im looking for some good tips on becoming vegetarian..want to stop abusing the worlds resources.. need some tip. wondering all the things i can recycle, maybe environmental products, ways to reduce water... really looking for a totaly healthy lifestyle change..

What are some quick lifestyle changes I can make to live more sustainably?

Building on Naomi’s suggestion, one of the easiest ways for an individual or a family to consume fewer resources and be more green is to stop buying plastic bottled water and plastic cups which are such a strain on the environment, and your pocket.A better idea would be to invest in durable stainless steel reusable bottles for your everyday use - such as the gym, school and on your desk. The carbon pay off for using 1 bottle compared to 1000s of plastic bottles in your life, is obviously worth it!The GiveMeTap bottle [Reusable BPA-free water bottle that funds water projects] is a good example of a stylish and low cost bottle which is really durable and stylish so you actually want to take it around with you. They also have a network of places where you can get free tap water and you fund water projects in Africa through bottle purchases. Purchasing good products from companies that also help others through that purchase means you’re helping on a global level too! This is so easy to implement in your daily life but contributes so much to a sustainable lifestyle & preventing more damage to our earth!

What is the first step to living a healthy and fit life? I'm 15 and looking to not only build muscle but to stay fit and lean.?

"Everything in moderation" - Aristotle in Nicomachean Ethics http://classics.mit.edu/Aristotl.... Make sure you get enough sleep. Fatique makes cowards of us all. But more importantly, without sleep you are doing yourself some real harm when it comes to your brain, learning, recovering from physical exercise etc.Don't smoke at all and don't drink too much (when you get to that age). Move! Walk, ride the bike, park further away, take the stairs if it's less than 3 floors - use every opportunity to be active. Those steps will add up!Work out 3 or more times a week. Work on not just your endurance and strength  but also flexibility, balance, speed, mobility, power. Try different things to find something that is fun for you, so working out is not a pain in the butt. If you don't know where to start just try running or cycling, go to a crossfit or yoga class or participate in the activities your school offers. As for your diet, there are a million suggestions out there. But there seem to be couple things that help people feel better and be healthier which pretty much fit with all the recommendations of specialists + even the fad diets.Drink water (instead of sodas, juices, alcohol). You can still enjoy the latter, but when you make it a habit to drink water first and foremost, you will probably not even miss some of the other drinks. Eat more veggies. You don't have to be freak about it but if you make sure you always eat a lot of veggies and green things you will probably be OK.Stay away from processed foods as much as possible. OK to have something every now and then, but try not to eat only store bought meals.Get your vaccinations (+when you travel) and play it safe when you become sexually active. And of course, enjoy life. Stress is bad :)Hope this helps

Best place in the world to live a simple life?

I am young (taking a break from college) and have a love for living simply.
There is nothing more I love than nature and detest the direction in which our world is turning.
Don't get me wrong, I am not what people would call a hippy..though I am free spirited!
I am very crafty and handy, spending considerable amounts of my free time building/carving or something of the like.
I feel like I'm myself mostly in the outdoors..in recreation...or work.
I like gardening and would love to grow my own food. I enjoy "primitive" hunting, as well as fishing and trapping (by instruments of my own design).
Currently I work at a health foods store and desire nothing more than to move elsewhere. Somewhere that is quiet and I can build my own house etc. Somewhere the economy is naturally based and not fast paced like it is..here in the chicago area.

My fiancee is interested in living in "earthships" if you've heard of them, and i'd be glad to build such a house.
I've considered Oregon and Washington (I love cold, wet and green places), though I want to move somewhere far away. British Columbia and Alaska are two other options...
What about Iceland, Greenland, Norway, Sweden or New Zealand? (I love mountains!)

I don't know and I don't have much money.
My only wish is to just get up and leave..start someplace new and live simply.

If you want to make me feel bad, or talk me out of it....tell me how irrational I am or how stupid this is... go ahead, I just won't read or respond. Don't waste your finger strength.

But if you have any advice or helpful websites, books etc or encouragement...please enlighten me!

Thanks in advance.
Sorry this is so weird.

Why do women live longer than men?

le me make i clear i is not a sexist question, but a logical query that comes to my mind.it might sound gross.world ove in countries where there is little gender bias towards women ,they tend to live more than men.now a women usually hits a menopause in her 40's bu men can continue to father offspringl pretty much till they die.so evolutionary speaking men should have lived longer?
