I accidentally cut someone off while driving?

I was leaving school and went to switch lanes and considering the light in front of us was yellow, did not realize how fast the person in the other lane was going. I know for a fact she was going at least 10 over. She swerved around me and started screaming at me. I don't know if anything happened to her car but I didn't get out and talk to her as she made me feel threatened when she kept swerving around me multiple times and flipping me off and cussing at me. 3 or 4 miles down the road she pulled off to the side and got out of her car to walk around to the other side so I'm not sure if she may have scraped the side rail. I didn't notice this until after I passed her. It was an honest mistake but I'm worried she may have gotten my plate number and reported it? can I get in trouble for not stopping?

They might accidentally ding or scratch your car while focusing on their child.Judge How People ParkIf someone didn’t park correctly, the chances of them backing out properly doesn’t look good. Avoid parking by cars that are over the line or crooked.Stick By Similar-Sized CarsPark next to a similar sized car so the height of the door is the same. Many cars have rubber door moldings to protect your car when opening and closing. A bigger car will not have the same height and will mark the door if hit.Watch Your DistanceDon’t get too close to the person in front of you when driving. If someone is riding your bumper, signal for them to go around. Keeping a safe distance from the cars around you will help prevent rocks and other small objects from hitting your car.Watching your surroundings and avoiding potential mishaps are easy solutions. But the most effective is getting a paint protection film around your car. It will protect your entire car, not just the bumper or underside.Hope these tips helped and your car continues looking beautiful and new!

What happens when u hit over someone with a car and killed that person accidentally?

Honestly, my friend, you dont wanna know what happens when you kill a person accidentally. I've been through this once, though not in the Philippines.

I'll describe my experience. It was around 11am on September 14, 1996 and was driving at 100kmp on a 120kmph road. This guy appeared out of nowhere, apparently trying to run across the road. I applied brakes with all strength I had and some instinct made me pull the handbrake. Too late...I had already hit the poor guy, whose body was flung for about 20- 30 metres by the impact.

I rushed out of the car and found him lifeless, even as other motorists stopped to help. The cops and an ambulance arrived within 5 minutes from the impact and a paramedic told me the gloomy news...that the guy was dead.

The cops did a "technical arrest' which means, I had to go with them to the police station. I was given a breathalyzer test to check whether I was drunk, which I wasnt. I was made to sit in the police station, luckily not the jail, for a couple of hours and later, produced before a public prosecutor. Paid the equivalent of $500 for bail.

The cops would call me often during their investigations and there were several visits to the civil court. Finally, the verdict was to pay compensation to the victim...which was done by my car's insurers. Above that, I had to pay the equivalent of US$10,000 as immediate relief to the victim's family, whom I thankfully never met.

Money and hassles apart....killing somebody unintentionally leaves a horrible scar on the mind. I needed counselling from a shrink for nearly a year, had frequent nightmares and was unable to drive for about six months since that day. I sold that car too. The frequent questioning by cops, the thought that I killed the bread winner of a family....were TOO MUCH to live with.

I was never a reckless driver but since that experience, I am over cautious.
