What Can I Put In My Hair That Will Make It Feel Smooth

How to get Soft, Smooth hair???10 POINTS!!! MEN!!!!?

Im a guy and i have really thick hair and when i put hair styling products in my hair like gel, when i put water in my hair or wash it out my hair becomes so soft and smooth and my hand can go right through my hair easily and its just alot more manageable. But when i use my shampoo and conditioner which are professional it really cleans my hair but when i come out of the shower my hair just feels thicker, not as soft or smooth and i cant put my hand through it without struggling. Is there any kind of shampoo that will get my hair to feel like it does when im washing out a styling product like gel??????
Thank you!

Can you put lotion in your hair?

Every morning I rub lotion into my hands and then rub the excess onto my hair. It works great to de-frizz my hair (and also smells good). Obviously don't put a ton of it on and don't rub a lot of it at your roots.

It sounds like you're using it for a treatment as your hair. It shouldn't cause any problems (although you probably look pretty silly right now!), but next time just put conditioner on dry hair instead (and of course wash it out the next morning).

How do i make my hair smooth after blow drying?

There are a few options...you can use a flat iron to smooth it out...or you can style your hair while blowing to dry. I use velcro rollers that keep the volume but leaves my hair smooth and silky. You would blow dry your hair like usual until it's about 90% dry then put in the rollers and finish drying. Also I sometimes use CHI Silk Infusion (only a dime size amount) on wet or dry hair.

How should I take care of my chemically smoothened hair?

Hair smoothening will make your hair more manageable, it will need some extra care to keep it in good health post the chemical treatment. Here’s a comprehensive list of post-smoothening hair care tips:Immediately After The Hair Smoothening Treatment Procedure:Do not wet hair for 3 days.Do not tie your hair or put it behind your ears. While sleeping, ensure your hair is straight.3 Days After The Hair Smoothening Procedure:Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner after three days. Leave the conditioner on for a few minutes longer than usual.Avoid hot water at all times as it will strip your tresses of moisture.Use a wide toothed hair comb to separate the strands. Remove any tangles with great care. No matter what the temptation, do not use a hair brush.Apply a hair serum regularly. This creates a barrier between your hair and outside damage from dust, sun and pollution.Use a leave in conditioner. This helps in retaining the moisture and keeps dryness and frizz away.Use hair masks frequently or get hair spas done that will add vitamins to your hair and replenish the nutrients lost because of chemical compounds.15 Days After The Hair Smoothening Procedure:Follow a nutritious diet of nuts, cashews, almonds and lots of fruits and vegetables.Have your hair trimmed on a regular basis. This ensures your hair remains in top condition. Make sure there are no split ends.Avoid use of any heating tools. If you have to blow dry, then go on the cool blast mode.Your hair needs to relax after the high dose of straightening chemicals, so no colouring or highlighting for at least 6 months.Keep your hair safe from environmental factors – harsh sun rays, cold winds and the rains. Use a hat or an umbrella.Use anti-frizz spray to moisturize dry hair and prevent your hair from getting entangled.Do not tie up your hair, or use hair pins, because they will leave a corrugated mark that is difficult to straighten back.If your hair does not get greasy, stay away from shampooing every day. Shampoo alternate days or try co-washing – simply use a conditioner as a shampoo and rinse it away.Source: Rewardme

Why does my hair feel rough and dry after a hair dye, will this go away?

This could be for one of two reasons:You didn't remove all the dye in your previous wash. This has lead to the dye drying up and becoming hard and stiff, giving your hair the same feel. If this is the case, it should fix itself after a second wash - just make sure to wash thoroughly, shampooing twice if possible.Your hair has been damaged by the dye. Unfortunately, this won't go away after one wash. You'll need to treat your hair until it regains its health. Some ways you can achieve this:Healthy diet/sleep routine - gives your body the nutrients it needs to grow healthier hair and produce oils that make existing hair healthier/smoother. This includes drinking lots of water, which is vital for pretty much everything our body does, hair growth included.Stop playing with it - the more you play with your hair, the dirtier it will get from the oils on your fingers, which will require you to wash it more often, which will end up in drier hair. It's a never ending cycle, so it's best to just not start it by leaving it alone. Braiding is good for keeping it out of the way, but don't braid it too tight or it may cause breakage.Coconut oil - you've probably heard this one, but that's because it works. You can use it before you dye your hair to reduce the damage caused by the dye, and it also helps the colour to hold on better. Otherwise, using it around once a week the day before you shower (leaving it on overnight) keeps your hair super soft, smooth, and promotes healthy growth.Good luck with your hair!

If I bleach my hair what damage will it cause? Will the new hair that grows be affected by the bleach?

First of all u hv a nice hair condition. .coloring , bleaching , dyes can affects ur hair sometimes if u do..but its depends bcs sometimes its not..Your scalp will itch. Don't freak out — it's just from the burn. All the tips above will help diminish the itchiness, especially using a lower volume bleach. But if the itching persists weeks after bleaching, go see your derm. It could be less about the burn and more a scalp condition like seborrheic dermatitis, which is generally cleared up with a medicinal shampoo and topical foam.I was find some description so u can get some knowledge about that…Your hair will look puffier and a little cray. Regardless of your natural hair texture, bleach will turn your hair a bit wild. It's okay. It'll calm down. Bleach opens up your cuticle and dries our your strands, which is why it can be puffier and frizzier after dyeing. "Using a PH balancing conditioner after your service can help but there's not a lot you can do but be patient," explains Brittan. In a few weeks, your hair will relax and feel smoother as your cuticle starts to close."Your hair will feel much more dry. Dryness is from that cuticle opening, plus the chemicals in the bleach. You can't really keep your hair from getting dried out. What you can do is wash your hair less than you did before the bleach. Brittan advises 2-3 times per week at the most to let your scalp become a little oily. Washing it too much will only dry out your strands more. You can also use a deep conditioner with keratin for moisture and strengthening. You'll have some breakage. It used to be that double bleach totally destroyed your hair and you had to condition it every day or pieces broke off. But now, there's brands including Olaplex that totally save your strands. Have your hairdresser add Olaplex to the bleach and you'll have way less breakage. "It has completely changed the hair industry when it comes to double bleaching," says Brittan. You should also invest in strengthening conditioner (Olaplex makes one of those, too), and a Wet brush to help with breakage while you're in the shower.Thanku!!!

How can I make my curly hair silky?

First of all is your hair in good condition? Because damaged hair is hard to make silky. Also do you want it to be straight and silky or do you want to maintain the curl in a more silky condition? Either way there are some very good products on the market today for either. Check with the clerks at a local beauty supply store if you have one in your area. They are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. Or if you have a stylist, ask her/him what they recommend. If not, look for a high end product at your local department store (I’ll refrain from using any particular name, like Walmart). Stick with names that used to only be sold in salons like Nexxus. (and don’t use products made for horses, they are for use on horses no matter what you hear otherwise) Use the product as directed the first time and if it doesn’t quite work for you tweek the directions a bit. For instance, if the label says to apply after towel drying but you want more smoothness than you got from doing it that way then actually get your hair more dry before applying it or apply after it’s towel dried and then a little more after its dry and dry it in again. Flat irons are great for straightening and can be great for making the hair silky but you really need a heat protectant on your hair when you use one to prevent damage. It doesn’t really matter what kind of hair you have as long as it’s healthy you can do about anything with it using the right product. Don’t be afraid to try different ones. Most places will let you return them if you’re not satisfied. Just be sure to keep the receipt. Hope this helps. -S
