You should make him spend a few days dressed up as a girl before Halloween so he can practice & get ready to be a girl, plus that will give him time for him to try on different costumes until you find the right one for him to wear on Halloween. Turn him completely into a real girl, go all out, shave his legs, pluck his eyebrows, get his nails done and turn your boyfriend into your girlfriend & let him spend this Halloween as a sexy 18 year old senior high school girl & if he gives you a hard time, just tell him you'll make him dress-up as a girl & he can spend the entire weekend as your girlfriend. Is it ok to not wear a costume to a Halloween party?
The way you wrote your question, I hate to say it, but it comes across as a bit pretentious- deriding Halloween parties for being overdone? Costumes are an accepted part of the holiday, as much as trees are with Christmas or eggs with Easter. As others have pointed out, there are costumes you can put together with things around your house. You don't have to buy an expensive costume or build a masterwork worthy of walking the stage at dragoncon. Even something simple will do. If you don't want to make an effort at all or are opposed to costumes because you think they're cliche or overdone, then I'd suggest skipping the party. If you're attwnd any themed party, then at least make an effort at the theme.
IM NOT ALLOWED TO GO TO A HALLOWEEN PARTY AND IM 15?
So I'm 15 years old and im invited to a halloween party and it's at a hall with bouncers and its from 8:00 to 11:30 and you need to be on the invite list to get in. Also, there's no drinking allowed there and food and drinks will be served. My parents think someone is gonna put something in my drink and then some guy is gonna take advantage of me. I dont drink coke or juice or anything and theyre probably gonna have water bottles. I WONT PUT MY DRINK DOWN SO I DOUBT THIS WILL HAPPEN. This party seems relatively safe to me. Theres also another halloween party and thats sort of far but i know a lot of people who are going there and getting drunk so i doubt theyll come to this one. All my friends are allowed to go, and i have literally nothing else to do on halloween night :( Also, most people are 16 in my grade so we're not that young.

Hello INTJ here, as stated below we usually wouldn't be at a party in the first place butttt if we had to we would most likely wanna blend in with everyone and wear a costume.Im also a cosplayer so maybe that influenced my answer though…

It's halloween. It's a night for fun and decadence. Wear one or don't wear one. A good number of people who attend Halloween parties are totally into the whole costume and fantasy aspect of it all. You'll see people with lame store bought costumes, and then you'll see people who clearly have spent a little bit of time on their presentation. I say wear a partial mask. It's kind of sexy, kind of mysterious. Make it as a part of a really cool costume. Or make it part of a costume of a known masked character like from Marvel or invent your own clever superhero masked man. If it's good it will be a nice conversation starter. When I see men in full plastic monster like masks....I stay away because it's just boring. And they get all sweaty and hot under the mask and end up just wearing it on top of their heads. What's the point?

Dressing in drag for halloween party?
Yes! A feathered boa is a must! And a dress with sequins. Fishnet stockings will look smashing with black sequined heels, if you can walk in those things (personally, I can't.) Your dress should either have spaghetti straps or strapless. Long gloves tipped with feather fur will grace your lovely arms. Wear large, dangly earrings that hit against your face whenever you move your head. Do not stuff your bra with tissues. Socks are not just worn on the feet or used to enhance the look of a guy. Use socks till you're all boobed out! Spare no makeup. Use all the colors of the rainbow, dear. A big lovely wig of red hair garnished with sparkly barrettes will be the crowning achievement of a good drag queen.
