As a student, what self-help books should I read to reach my career goals?

Being a student myself. I think self - help books are the biggest bullshit of our generation. These self help books make success look so inevitable to you. Like, look elon musk does this and so does bill gates. Definitely this is what's causing their success. So, go ahead and wear a beautiful bow tie. You'll definitely win. When in reality. Success is a path that can't be taught how to attain it. There's no definite path to success. Your struggles are completely different from mine. I can't even hope to understand your situation. Let alone, teach you how to overcome them. guess what these self help books teach you? “overcome your biggest fears” “create your path to success” “16 ways to be successful”. *facepalm *I wouldn't advice it to anyone. It's a waste of time either way. If you're so inclined, you could try,7 habits of highly effective people - Stephen R. Covey. (Pretty good book. With step by step process to being the perfect you). The monk who sold his ferrari - Robin Sharma. ( novel type book with the tale of a successful lawyer who gives up everything, goes to India and finds the meaning of life). The 8 th habit - Stephen R. Covey ( as if seven weren't enough. Still a decent enough book).Alchemist - Paolo Coelho ( story of a nomadic boy as he finds meaning of life and nature in the smallest of things). You can win - Shiv Kera ( procedures and paths to be followed to get successful in love). The thing is, self-help is just that, helping yourself to be better. No one can help you to help yourself be a better man / woman.Stop sitting around. And start working.*whew*Thanks for reading till this

Confused on what career path to take?

I’m currently a senior in high school, and I couldn’t count the times on hand that I’ve heard people say how much they have no interest in any job. However, my case is different; every job interests me! From culinary to management, and from fine arts to education, I’ve read every job in the book and can’t decide what I want. I’m obviously a very indecisive person, and all my life I’ve wondered what job I’d lead up to. I plan to go to college next year, so I really want to start planning what my future will look like soon. Any suggestions for choosing a career path wisely would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks!!
