What Causes Smudges And Rings On Windows To Stay Permanent After A Short Period Of Time

What are the best ways to remove water spots from car windows?

Water spots are caused by the calcium deposits in droplets of hard, tap water used in the final rinse and left to dry by itself. Drops form from thinly spread water by surface tension. As the drop evaporates the calcium is concentrated at the edges and eventually leaves a tiny white ring when the last of the water evaporates leaving the calcium behind. The way to prevent it is to use soft water rather than hard water. Or use distilled water. Or add a surfactant to reduce surface tension. This applies to the final rinse step, not the wash with detergent.Or to blow dry or wipe dry so that no drops are left to evaporate. So far I’ve talked about preventing them. If you already have them, you need to wash the car again and float off the dried calcium which may be hard. scrub with water gently and it will probably eventually come off. There are calcium carbonate solvents if you really have it bad. This time dry it properly as described above.

How can I remove scratches from glasses without removing coatings?

I did my internship for a wise old Optician we lovingly called The Silver Fox. He owned a practice that had been in business over thirty years at that point. He had a huge following in his community and in the optical fellowship as well. He explained to me that he would get asked this same question most often because, quite frankly, most people don't clean their glasses properly even after being instructed how to do so. He would have to explain that the lenses would have to be replaced because anything that would take the scratches off would most certainly take the coatings off. And anything that would polish off the scratches under the coating would, in turn, change the curvature of the lens, thereby changing the prescription as it is the curvature of the lens that give the lens its power. So he would tell those folks that didn't believe him and thought that he was only trying to sell them more lenses that there was something they could do if they were so motivated. It was easy to do but required much dedication. The Silver Fox would instruct these folks to rub Pledge furniture polish on their lenses every night before bed, using only a finger to rub it in. They had to rub in the direction of the scratches and use enough to pool in the scratches, leave it on overnight and clean them, also as instructed, and go on about their day. He said it would take two weeks or depending on the depth of the scratches, maybe longer. They would come in after a few days and say that they weren't seeing any difference and he would say to give it more time. Always give it more time. After a few weeks they would inevitably come in and report that they couldn't keep up with the regimen and, defeated, ask to please let them buy replacement lenses. Now I say to you, either have the coating taken off (and that's a show for a different day) or get new lenses. And this time clean the lenses properly and we won't have to revisit this conversation. 90% of scratches are from cleaning improperly and learning how is a great way to protect your investment.

Is there any way of avoiding rainbow effect while using tempered glass?

Rainbow effect on tempered glass can be removed. You will observe the rainbow effect if you use a normal tempered glass on a curved screen phone or if the air bubbles get stuck in the glass while placing on the phone. Use the methods described-If the rainbow effect is on the edges then it will be simply removed itself when phone heats up during charging. If the efdect is on the middle screen then you have to provide extra heat. You may place your phone under sun. But this method is not very much helpful. So, in this case I suggest you to buy a curved tempered glass for your phone or the original protective cover from the company.

How can I remove black magic from my home?

Depends on what you mean by ‘black magic’.If you know that you’ve been attacked by a witch or other practitioner, you need to be doing something like wearing chillies or ‘cleaning’ the house by waving a raw egg around the afflicted area (still inside it’s shell). You can also use a mirror and chant something like:‘Mirror, mirror, on the wall,Send it back, send it allAll the curses, all the painAll our sufferings for another’s gainReturn to sender, let it goBad luck here, will not grow.’If it’s just negative energy, burn (safely) something like rosemary or sage, while walking from the back to the front of the house. How do I remove the dark spot that's appeared on the inside of my iPhone screen?

It sounds like the LCD is damaged. Replacement is the only viable option (either the LCD or the entire phone). From what you’ve described, it’s likely heat damage rather than some sort or bump or physical trauma. I haven’t seen it on an iPhone, but I’ve seen a lot of other displays exhibit that dark spot/black hole, when the battery underneath overheats.Look online for a local iPhone repair and get a quote for a screen replacement for your specific phone model (make sure that they know that the glass isn’t damaged or you’ll end up being quoted for glass, encoder and display). Then book a Genius Bar appointment and get a quote from your Apple Store. If they give you a better deal, let them at it, otherwise kick back to the repair shop.Usually, for just the display, it will be cheaper to get it repaired by a third party. Displays aren’t that expensive and it’s a relatively easy swap. Apple will generally charge a flat rate that treats any display problem as a phone swap. You may get lucky and be under warranty or it may be a common problem that they’re cutting people slack on.
