What Changes Are Required In Words To Make Those Words Perfect

The perfect words to say to your boyfriend- who has become complacive 3mths in.?

he's already told you why he's become so complacent. It's because he's got you now. As long as he knows he's got you, he's not going to change. There's only one way to fix this. That's to make it clear that you won't stay with things as they are. But, you can't fake it. You have to truly be willing to leave if he makes you feel neglected. If you're just threatening to leave but you know you won't really, then it does no good. You need to do some soul searching and realize that you are worth more than this and its not worth wasting your time on someone who isn't willing to do what it takes to make you happy. Once you realize this and you are truly willing to walk away, you need to have a frank talk with him. Tell him directly that you aren't getting what you need out of this relationship. Tell him you feel neglected. Tell him that life is short and if things continue this way, you know you won't be happy in the long run and you don't see any point in continuing to waste your time on a dead end.

I've had the experience, several times, of finally being prepared to leave guys who seemed too clueless to realize what they needed to do to make me happy. As I was walking out the door, suddenly they'd have this huge burst of motivation to do everything I ever wanted - but only once they saw me actually leaving. Believe me, the only thing that will inspire him to change, is the sight of the door shutting behind you on your way out. Be prepared to leave. It's the only thing that will change him. Leave, and then see if he tries hard enough to win you back. And stay gone if he doesn't.

Is the Bible god's perfect word?

I am often told that the Bible is gods perfect word, but when I point out imperfections in it, I am told I am using the wrong version.

1) If god's word is so perfect, why are there so many imperfect versions?
2) Why could it not get it's word right?
3) If it is so powerful, why could it not make sure its word was preserved perfectly?
4) If the Biblical god supposedly does not author confusion (1Corinthians 14:33 - For God is not the author of confusion,) then why would it allow its word to cause so much confusion?
5) Is this god really too weak to make sure its words are understood clearly?

If nothing's "perfect", then why do we have the word "perfect" in the dictionary?

To not believe in perfection is to limit yourself, so who ever told you it doesn't exist or “nothing is” perfect is worthy of you limiting your interaction with that person.Everything we do is for the purpose of perfection, so to say that we can reach a state of complete perfection is quite unfathomable, but thats for another Q.Evolution on every level works towards equilibrium. From how we evolve physically, socially to spiritually. We see mirrored aspects in the evolution of societies, social groups and families. But as subjective needs change so do the concepts that fill those needs. So perfection can be temporary and fleeting but when attending to the moment, being present in the fullness of what IT IS, then we can see perfection, and thus embody more readily. But first you must know it is there good luck.L&L

What changes can you see in yourself after reading Word Power Made Easy?

(My copy of the wonder book named "Word Power Made Easy") This is the book that totally guarantees you an increase in your vocabulary. You can't cram a dictionary and probably that's the reason why this book is a saviour. Although I am still half way through it but I have already started realising the benefits :No word seems totally foreign to me. I can actually guess the meaning from the limited number of roots I have studied. Be it English or biology or any other field, all you need is to be able to identify the roots and you will be able to atleast guess the most appropriate, if not prefect,  meaning of it. I don't get bored or I don't feel any pressure while doing the sessions since the book is very user friendly and yes very much simple in its language too. (except the new words we are being taught). This book is the perfect example of a teacher.  It's not a reference book but it teaches in the best way possible while testing your grasping power. It's the most promising book I have ever read in my life.  You can't help but increase your vocabulary by atleast a thousandth at the end of this book. You start recognising words wherever and whenever you read them. P. S. -  "Nothing works until you do the work" (by Robin Sharma). Though the book is a blessing but don't mistake it for a magical wand. You definitely need to work day in and out with this book. Read the instructions carefully,  given in the starting of the book, under the heading - "How to use this book to the maximum of your benefit". Do follow those instructions diligently. Make a point to revise the previous session(s) before you start the new one.  Try memorising the words learnt while doing non productive tasks like the daily chores. Try using them in your conversations or try writing a paragraph daily,  on a certain topic.  Try using the newly learnt words. Work with this amazing book and trust me you won't regret it :)

Muslims: If "None can change the words of God; Sura 6:34 " then why does he say he can change it later?

the koran doesn't change nor do the words of allah...right...

The words of the Lord are perfect in truth and justice;
there is NONE who can change His words.
He both heareth and knoweth.
-- Sura 6:115
None can change the words of God;
-- Sura 6:34

There is no changing the words of God;
that is the mighty triumph.
-- Sura 10:64

And recite what has been revealed to you of the Book of your Lord,
there is none who can alter His words;
and you shall not find any refuge besides Him.
-- Sura 18:27

What's this?

And for whatever verse we abrogate and cast into oblivion
We bring a better or the like of it;
knowest thou not that God is powerful over everything?
-- Sura 2:106
And when We exchange a verse in place of another verse --
and God knows very well what He is sending down --
they say, 'Thou art a mere forger!'
Nay, but the most of them have no knowledge.
-- Sura 16:101
so did allah have a new revelation with himself later...so he can change the koran

Why do people believe the Bible to be the perfect word of God when it is known to have been mistranslated or changed through history?

I think it has less to do with the Bible and more to do with how the brain works.  The Bible is one of several religious texts in which people believe to the word or God.This paper gives some insight: Page on michaelinzlicht.com I shall quote the conclusion of the paper:"Two simple, yet astonishing facts about religion have motivated our work: first, that it is widespread throughout the world and second, that it is usually positive for the individual believer. We join a growing rank of scientists of religion when we ask why it  is  so  widespread  and  why  it  confers  such  benefit.  In  response,  we  suggest  that religion  is  the  product  of  a  motivated  meaning-making  process;  that  religion  is prevalent and beneficial because it fulfils the need to create and sustain a sense that the  world  is  orderly  and  meaningful.  When  religion  meets  this  need,  it  allows individual believers to cope with life’s stresses, to feel secure in unfamiliar territory, and to feel calm under pressure. Religion provides a framework for understanding and acting, and reduces cognitive uncertainty as a result. Religion also espouses an order  that  is  not  transparent,  often  mysterious,  and  only  knowable  to  an  external agent. It therefore offers an advantage over other forms of belief or meaning it is immune from falsification and thus adherents can be confident that it will stand the test of time. The evidence presented here makes it increasingly difficult to see religion as simply a curious, or even insidious, byproduct of our cognition. People refuse to believe that they’re at the mercy of a chaotic and meaningless universe, and in many ways religion assures them that this is not the case"Edit: bold added and spacing fixed.
