Where does Highway 101 start and end?
US-101 technically has two southern ends. There's one in California in downtown LA at the East LA Interchange and one in Olympia, Washington. The highway loops around the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, reaching its northernmost point at Port Angeles.Both ends now merge with Interstate 5 - before the Interstate was defined, US-101 ran to the Mexican border, but the segment between Los Angeles and San Ysidro was deleted in favor of the Interstate.
