What Christmas Movie Could This Be

Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?

Any good Christmas movie has a conflict between its main characters that’s resolved by the closing scenes, a hero that helps one of the main characters to do the right thing and who himself is changed by the struggle, and a villain that is ultimately foiled by the main characters. It also has to be set at Christmastime and have plenty of Christmas iconography like Christmas trees, travel, presents, decorations and a Christmas party.Die Hard does pretty well in all these respects. The conflict between the main characters is the impending failure of their marriage. Notice that when Holly moved to LA to become an executive with the Nakatomi Corporation, she started using her maiden name. The hero is Sgt. Al Powell of the LAPD. Many years ago, Sgt. Powell accidentally shot an innocent kid and as a result wasn’t able to bring himself to use his gun, but when the time came to kill Karl, he was up to the task. Mr. Takagi could also be considered heroic; without his buying John a plane ticket to come to the party, John wouldn’t have been there in the first place. This movie is FULL of villains. The terrorists are the most obvious, but consider: the 911 dispatcher, Deputy Chief of Police Duane Robinson, and the news reporter Richard Thornburgh are also villainous. (You do have to wonder about that dumbass SWAT commander; most people who were going to breach a glass door would just break the damned glass, but not this guy.)The Christmasy aspects of the movie are obvious. All tolled, it (and Lethal Weapon, for the same reasons) is a Christmas movie - one you can watch all year long.

Is Frozen a Christmas movie?

I believe frozen can very well be a great Christmas movie. I would myself love to watch Frozen on the Christmas eve !..The movie being full of Christmas elements like the Ice Kingdom , snowman , elves (trolls), the sledge , the yak , the adorable and loyal reindeer Sven , the sisters being united at the end , a Happy Ending and most prominently Elsa’s journey where she learns to do away from her inhibitions and lately breaks the shackles of solitude to live happily with her family and friends…For I believe Christmas is all about family and friends and a time to be Happy !! By negating all negative feelings.( Even Elsa let go of her fears and negative emotions , that pulled her back, and made her heart cold . In the end she lets the love of her sister and that between Anna and Kristoff to fill her with warmth) …And since Christmas is coming … A very Merry Christmas to one and all !!….

Need help identifying this Christmas movie!?

I know this is a strange request but here goes...when I was about 4 or 5 years old (approx. 1991), I remember seeing a live action Christmas movie on TV...pretty much all I remember about it is that it was funny and that in the end two Santa Clauses - one dressed normally in a red suit and another one dressed in a green Santa suit - drifted off into the sky in a hot air balloon. Weird, I know, but does anyone have any idea what movie this could be? I've done a-ka-billion Google and Yahoo! searches and have found zilch. Thanks.

What christmas movie is about a girl who can read minds?

She would wear this brooch that i think an elf gave her and she could read people's minds. I think it might've been a lifetime movie or a television movie. Reason I want to know is because I know someone who looks just like the star. Thanks!

It's Christmas Season! What is the one movie you would definitely want to watch this year?

I'm a very traditional person when it comes to Christmas movies. So is my mother. So we are settling down to watch a very old, very traditional Christmas favourite that always puts us in a good mood…My mother is a huge fan of the series (probably second only to Final Destination) and she has been making me watch it since I was in my teens and I honestly can't complain.

What are your favourite Christmas movies of all time which really get you in the mood for Christmas?

Here is my copy/paste answer I gave to a similar question:I have a few favorites. “All I want for Christmas” (young Thora Birch), “Meet Me in St. Louis” (a musical with Judy Garland), “The Family Man” (Nick Cage when he was still taking decent roles), and a few others. BUT my all time all time FAVORITE has always been “It’s a Wonderful Life”. I know this isn’t a surprising pick, but this movie covers so much ground that even after all these years the lessons and sentiments still hold up to this day.Not unlike “A Christmas Carol” and “Family Man” Jimmy Stewart plays a man who is allowed to supernaturally step outside of himself and see the full scope of the value of individual human life and its implications.“It’s a Wonderful Life” addresses heavy subjects like crushing disappointment, lost dreams, commitment, selflessness, ingenuity, community, reciprocity, and even suicide. Might sound a little dark for a holiday movie but it has moments of comedic relief. It's the darker bits that most reflect real life that later makes the end so worth it to watch.Gets me in the feels every dang time.
