To be completely accurate Canadian Airport Codes ar four letter codes, all of which start with the letter "C", so YEG is actually CYEG although the "C" is only used by airlines for flight planning etc. At one time the city of Edmonton had three airports. "YXD" was the municipal airport in Edmonton's east end. The second one (still in use) is YED which is the military airport at Namao in North Edmonton, the third is "YEG", designating Edmonton International Airport in Leduc. New England is the Northeast region of the United States. It includes Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Then there's the Carolina Panthers, which could represent both of the Carolina states. You could also make an argument that either the New York Jets or the New York Giants represent the state of New York. However, most teams are noted for the cities they are in, like the Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins or the Kansas City Cheifs just to name a few. Reality is that the North pushed sanctuary under the premise of state sovereignty and won in the SCOTUS.States that are banning or actively fighting sanctuary are actually making the problems worse by pushing the undocumented into hiding which harms society as a whole because it creates an exploitable segment of society that cannot seek help from authorities without risk of harm. That segment has to choose between harm from the authorities or harm from criminals, often the criminals are more acceptable than the consequences from the authorities.

Though Mumbai is the capital of State, Pune is definitely beating Mumbai in maintaining Maharashtrain culture.First of all I would like to mention that Maharashtrian is not a true word. You dont say, Gujaratian, Bengalian or Tamilnadian, they are called Gujarathi, Bengali and Tamil respectively. The residents are mostly named after the language they use, Therefore, people from Maharashtra are Marathi!Now, about Mumbai, it is a truly cosmopolitan city where people from all over the country are living together. However, there are major parts where they secured Marathi culture.Pune is definately ahead as there are more Marathi people in Pune. You barely need to speak Hindi there. Even people from other States learn to speak Marathi if they are staying in Pune. The small festivals like Mangalgaur, Chaitragaur, Bhondala, Ghagar Funkane, etc. are still celebrated in Pune, hoever in Mumbai, peopl do not find time for such celebrations (as they either in traffic or on station ;))Now about Ganapati, yes Mumbai Ganapatis are huge, but the festival is more beautiful and celebrated in Pune. There are different competitions in every building, people actually gather, the actual reason why Tilak started this festival is still alive in Pune. While in Mumbai, the festival is all about whose statue is bigger and who spent more. Laslty, the Virsarjan, Mumabi is great, but its just crowd walking with beatiful statues of Lord Ganesha. In Pune the scene is spectacular, the Dhol Pathak bring the energy to the level where you get mesmorised. I really recomment every Mumbaikar to once at least visit Pune and watch the entire Mirvanuk. Its worth it.There are more small small things, like on streets you will find ladies serving Thalipit, a typical Marathi delicacy. There are many shopd in Pune they serves items like Kokam serbat, Kairichi daal, thecha etc.As a bottom line, yes Pune is more Marathi than Mumbai.
