What clothes to take to Melbourne in September?
Its true what they say about Melbourne having four seasons in one day... it just adds to the charm of the place IMHO :) Your best option would be to wear layers, and then that way you can peel them off as you warm up, or add them as you feel cool. Jeans, a tee and a jumper would be perfect. ( and as some other people have mentioned, the nights will still be a little chilly, but nothing too unusual from what I am sure you are already used to coming from the UK. ) Your have picked a nice time of year to travel over here... average temps in September range from 10 degrees at night, up to around 18 - 20 degrees during the day.
