Can I work in two companies at the same time, from a contractual conflicts/dishonoring, taxes, laws, etc. point of view? I wish to work primarily at a big company, but also work as a technical consultant for a technology startup.
There is no legal limit on the number of salaried jobs you can hold. Company directors sometimes hold dozens. What may limit this is the contracts you have with each company.It's very common for a full-time employment contract to specify that you will not "undertake any other paid work" or a similar phrase. I have noticed in the hunting department of walmart that they sell bright flourescent orange accessories along side the camoflage gear. I thought that something bright may keep other hunters from shooting you and camo to hide you. Isn't this a conflict of goals?
