What color should i get for my braces?
Currently i have a grey/silver color for my rubberbands in my braces. I have a dentist appointment coming up and i'm planning to change the color. I'm in my mid teens so i'm wondering what color won't look tacky? I was planning to get a baby blue color at first, but now i think it might stand out too much? Should i just stick with grey?

I wouldn't recommend black, because at first glance, someone might think there is something in your teeth, or that your teeth have cavities. But i Do Recommend Silver and red, or Blue and Silver:) Mine are Light grey, and deep red.:) Its SUPER annoying at first, cause your lips look bigger, but my teeth are like almost perfect straight now, (i've had them in for a bout two years). Getting them off on February the 2nd:) and yeah it hurts for about a week, but then the pain goes away, and they are super fun to play with while your in class.:D Hope this helped?)

Ur getting braces?!? AWESOME! :D Anyways I wouldn't get orange because it'll make your teeth seem yellow and don't get green because people sometimes mistaken it for food being stuck in ur mouth. Purple is a really nice color but I would get a light shade. To be honest black and purple is a really nice combo actually :) usually the black makes ur teeth look whiter. Sometimes my friend just gets all black and it's looks really nice. Eat soft foods especially if ur getting ur wire on the same day. The pain won't hit you as hard as the next day. Jello was like my best friend once I got my braces XD try to avoid eating hard foods that u feel that would break ur braces. Eating gum is possible to do but u might panic if it gets stuck on a bracket. The truth is the foods u can't eat are really foods that are DIFFICULT to eat. Such as corn, chicken on the bone, apples, lollipops, ect. Popcorn is edible just eat it carefully. :) Good Luck!

What is the worst color you can get for your braces?
White or yellow, and light green if i remember correctly. Braces are lots of fun though once you get used to them. I kinda miss mine. :) You can get different colors every month, and I would get black and orange for halloween, red and green for christmas, and so on. Depending on how crooked your teeth are, the pain in the beginning will vary. After a few days it should subside though hopefully. Just try and eat real soft foods at first. And make sure you get those special flossers, so food won't get stuck as easily. :)

ok well I'm getting braces in 5 days and I had the same problem as u and it took me forever to decide which colors I want to get. So I finally decided that I want light blue and lavender. My other thoughts were hot pink and black or aqua and light blue. Oh for holidays u should do like green and red for Christmas and orange and black or something for Halloween. But if ur like a tomboy get black and blue or black and silver. Try all of the colors because u will be coming in every month to get ur braces tightened and colors changed. Good luck! : D
