What Color Pitt Bull Is The Best

What pitbull colors are better?

Colour influences nothing.
Pick a dog based on personality and health, colour should be the last consideration. And how would we know which colour you prefer most?

Add:
Oh okay.
I wouldn't really advise it if the ac is set to "meat locker" cold. Make sure the pup has blankets and if you feel necessary, a small space heater may be beneficial.

Pitbull colors???????????????

What color are you trying to breed for? I can give further advice if I knew the answer to that. The genetics of the Pit Bull work in the same way as those for other breeds, so if you want to breed for color then first learn which colors are dominant and which are recessive. There will also be some colors with incomplete dominance, where they may express or not depending on whether other genes are present. For example if you want to breed brindle Pit Bulls, that gene is recessive so two brindles will always produce a brindle baby. When something otherwise happens you have either got a second father involved with the litter or one of the dogs has chimerism (rare but it occasionally occurs),Black is dominant to other colors so breeding two black dogs together can produce dogs with recessive traits if the parents were both carriers, such as a blue dog or a chocolate dog.For this reason while it may be harder to initially find breeding stock with recessive genes (and they sometimes cost more) the resulting litters will be more cohesive in that their coloration should match that of the parents (or genes which are yet further still recessive and likely more rare). The only thing to be careful about is to make sure the dogs are not too closely related. When attempting to breed for rare traits sometimes the lineage may become a little too close for good health and it is time to look at other lines bearing desirable traits to do what is known as ‘outcrossing’ or breeding to a dog with a very different family tree.

What pitbull color is this?

That is what's known as a "blue fawn". Pitties come in almost every color you can imagine. Doberman's can turn out to be "blue fawn" as well, so it's not uncommon.

This is a Pit we re-homed after taking in her and her litter mates. She's a good example of what regular fawn coloring should look like. (Probably not the best angle though)

Most common pit bull colors?

Most common colors are black/white and brown (tan)/white. They usually have white somewhere on them. Most litters I see consist of the same general colors over with an exception of some brindled in the mix.

ADD: And yes the pit bull Is a breed. It's the American Pit Bull Terrier, and others that get called pit bulls are bully breeds like the American Staffordshire Terrier and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I say those are the most common colors because most "pit bulls" you see on the streets and in shelters are just pit-type dogs, mixes of bully breeds, and those colors pop up very commonly.

What color will pitbull puppies come out?

Blue eyes with purple fur.

Serious what is wrong with you? You don't know anything about how eye and coat color are passed down so you bred your dogs anyways. and its BRED not BREEDED. Jesus do you even know how to tell if your female is in distress during labor? Do you know the numbers and addresses of an er vet or animal clinic should you need to take her in at 3 in the morning because of pup stuck inside of her?

Do you know how to bottle/tube feed pups? Can you afford to raise an entire litter by hand? Better yet can you afford to properly take care of a pregnant female AND her litter one its whelped?

Can you afford to go to a vet with the proper experience to have their tails and dewclaws done before they are 4 days of age?

What is the most desireable pitbull color?

I absolutely LOVE the white pitties. The only color I like over white is red, and you don't see those too often.

The dogs are probably digging out of boredom. Toys are not, things can get boring for any dog. Try doing fifteen minutes of basic obedience training before you send the dogs outside- that way, you'll have burned off some mental energy.

Can i find out what color pitbull puppies will be by there parents?

Well, you can if you know a bit more about the pedigree. The blue in pitbulls is a dilution of the black gene and it is a recessive trait, meaning both parents have to carry a copy of the gene and each must pass on one copy to a puppy for it to be blue. If you know for a fact that there is a parent, grandparent, great grandparent one either side who is blue or who produced blue pups, then there is a chance they can produce dilute blue offspring. If you are really curious, you can DNA test both parents to determine if they carry the dilution gene. The tests aren't inexpensive but you would know for a fact if the sire and dam carried it.

Keep in mind that the dilution gene that causes the "blue" in pits and other breeds is also closely associated with health issues, in particular color dilution alopecia which results in thinning coat and hair loss as well as some skin issues. This color is not a good color to intentionally breed for.

Color in the APBT breed is irrelevant to the quality of the dogs as no one color is or should take preference over another.

What color pitbull dog is usually the smallest?

<------100% Pure RedNose American Pit Bull Terrier

Yes Rednoses are Smaller than Blue's ... look here

http://www.atlkingpits.com/html/male_pit...

Blue pits are thicker and bigger .....

Yes there is Bluenose and there is Rednose !!!!!

But both come from a Rednose ....

Bluenose pits , are most the time mixed w/ another dog ( like a bulldog or a SBT), also they are INBREED , meaning

-the father mated w/ his own daughter ,mother /son,ect

ATL's pit's look nice ... but compare to some of the Blues I've seen they were digusting ... You have to understand APBT's are known to have Hip problems .. and the last thing they need , is to weight 100+ pounds..

APBT by UKC standard can be any nose color , but they are Medium dogs , not Huge

Mature Males = 30-60 lbs
Female = 30-50 lbs

see look ..........

my favorite is a Silver , Blue and Red mixed or a Tri Color
