Things to make a Jeep Liberty 2004 look cool?
I have a silver Jeep 2004 Liberty and am trying to think of new ways to change things up with the apearance that dont cost thousands of dollars. I just ordered a new spare tire cover, but is there anything else that would make it look cool?
2003 Jeep Liberty Owners..Need Help!! What color key do you have? do you know if its a transponder key?
a week ago i purchased a 2003 jeep liberty sport 4X4 that came with only one key. i have power locks and windows & my one single key is black!! a friend of mine said that the black keys do not have chips in them and can be duplicated at any hardware store...and a call to the Chrysler dealership for help confirmed that jeeps can either come w/ black keys or grey keys...the grey being the ones with the chip..my black key opens doors and turns engine on...so if i make a copy of it..it should work the same right? also i would like to get a pair of those remotes to unlock and lock the doors at the push of a button...any one run into this problem? please advise!!! thanks....

By doing these 2 things at a discount garage you will discover that it costs just as much as going to a good independent shop in your area instead where they’ll do the job much much better.

you need to use pink extended life HOAT (hybrid organic additive technology) chrysler coolant. do not use green, do not use the clear "universal", and do not use general motors dexcool. using any of these will cause radiator and engine corrosion, sludge, and water pump seal failure. the bottle has to say chrysler approved. the zerex g05 stuff above will work.

Issue with Jeep Liberty Coolant leak.?
Replace the radiator. The radiator has plastic tanks,and they have a gasket underneath them.After a period of time the tanks will get a hair line crack in them and once heated up the crack will spread open.This kind of problem will drive ya nut's,but there is also one thing that you can do to locate this leak,and that is to take it to a reputable shop , or even to auto zone and ask them to run a pressure leak test on your cooling system and make sure the radiator is full when you take it,they will usually do this for free of charge. But I am willing to bet you it is the radiator, hope this helps ya out and good luck.,,,,,,

Me, personally - since I don't have a 2004 Jeep Liberty today - I looked at your question, headed over to the Jeep website (Jeep SUVs & Crossovers), clicked on Owners and Service Manuals from the top menu bar, entered 2004 in the dropdown, then Liberty in the next dropdown, then clicked the Download button.After that it was as simple as looking at page 321 - 323.
What kind of antifreeze does an 04 jeep liberty use?
Dex-Cool, it is the orange colored antifreeze. I was warned not to use any other kind in my 2004 Jeep Liberty by the mechanics and dealership, in other words don't mix it with the green antifreeze.. It is also the kind the Jeep manual calls for. Some people complain about Dex-Cool, but I have been using it in my Jeep since Nov. 2003 when I first bought my 2004 Liberty. I have never had any problems with it.
What type of AntiFreeze Coolant do I use for my 2004 Jeep Liberty V6?
I went to Autozone to buy some AntiFreeze because I'm running pretty low and they gave me a Universal type (green/yellow). But the thing is the container in which the antifreeze is poured in has a redish/orange color from past use, so I'm not sure if I'm supposed to use the universal antifreeze or a specific red colored one. The guys at Autozone unfortunately weren't too helpful with that. They told me the Dex-Cool antifreeze and coolant was only for GM trucks and that I should use the 50/50. That it wouldn't be a problem.
