What Color Will My Hair Look Like If I Wanna Dye It Blonde Feria But Have Auburn Hair.

If I dye my hair blonde will it cover my teal hair?

1. The blonde dye will not cover the teal. If it was teal over blonde, it would be a darker shade over a lighter shade, so it will work. It's like if you poured equal amounts of Coke and Sprite, it will surely turn out to be a brown colour and not white or transparent. If you put blonde over teal, it'll only be a lighter shade of green at most.

2. Dye is dye. Dye is damaging to the hair. Any color processing damages the outer layer of your hair, leaving the entire strand vulnerable to dryness, breakage and dullness. Your hair will surely be a little drier than usual again, but unless your hair is super burnt at the moment, your hair won't fall off terribly because it's only hair dye and not bleach.

3. You don't actually need to re-bleach your hair. You can simply lift the teal colour off of your hair by mixing vitamin C powder with dish soap and putting it in your hair. It will work as a natural lifter. Here's a tutorial on it by a fellow YouTube user: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjHIrLV09... You can also just get a hair dye lifter at your local drug store. Since your hair was bleached before that, the colour that gets lifted off will be the teal, leaving whatever shade of blonde you bleached it to 3-4 months ago. Colour lifters are not as damaging as bleach will be.

If you need any more advice on it, here's a really useful article (it's called The Ultimate Guide to Unnatural Hair Colouring): http://galadarling.com/article/the-ultim... If you're still scared, get it professionally done since the hairdressers will know what they're doing, and they won't leave any stains.

Good luck! And remember to take care of your hair a lot better in the days following your dye job.

Can I dye my dirty blonde hair pastel or a lighter color without using bleach?

For it to go back to your natural color you would just have to put the direct pastel color over it. But once you put color on your hair it does change it. So I can't say it will completely go back to your natural color. Also because you are dirty blonde the pastel will not show the way you are probably thinking. To get the pastel look you do need to be pretty if not very blonde. So what do we do now? We have 3 options:1. If you have heard of chalking your hair then you can do this. There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube about putting chalk on your hair to get it to turn to a different color and it will wash out. There is a certain chalk and way to do it so I suggest looking it up.2. If you really want it pastel have your hairstylist match your natural color before you lighten it. Then have her write it in her client notes AND you write down the color formula just in case. Lighteners have come such a long way and we can lighten hair causing minimal damage with it. But if you are still worried about lightener, tell your stylist about this professional color called scruples. It is a German made product that automatically correct the undertones of the hair and causes minimal damage. There is the blazing 12v which is a gel and I only suggest this for high lights, or there is their hypnotic line which is cream. I suggest hypnotic 9av, because when it get to the desired lightness it stops processing. This way you don't over process. Then she can do her magic with pastels. This product is expensive so I would assume they may charge you more. 3. Have her balayage lighten your hair leaving your natural color as a shadow root so when your hair grows out you won't have roots!

Will Feria Color Dye Lighten My Hair?

Your best bet is to get a haircolor remover and then recolor with a color like L'OREAL PREFERENCE® or EXCELLENCE® - FERIA® is a TRANSPARENT, Permanent color that colors by modification - It adds a clear color to your existing shade meaning that a color like Starry Night (Blue Black) is just a deep clear blue that makes dark hair look blue-black. On light hair it would look blue-gray.

P.S. One easy way is use 40 vol. creme developer (About 2 Oz. ) with some shampoo and lather it into your hair wait about 10-20 mins. STRAND TEST FREQUENTLY until shade is just a little darker than you want (Wet hair looks darker) then rinse, condition and dry.

Hope This Helps.
Good-Luck!!

How do you dye blonde hair red?

Want to look really natural?Firstly, depending on how blonde you are, you may need to bleach your hair first. Otherwise just applying a dye may be more auburn rather than red.Reds can be quite harsh on pale skin, and I find something closer to a warm honey blonde is much more like a natural ginger, especially if you naturally have some warm tones. (My natural hair colour was ginger but the red hairs have gone grey first leaving me warm blonde)The real essence of natural red hair is the mixture of shades and tones. Imagine trying to draw gold with a yellow felt-tip pen - to look right, you’d need to add some orange tones, olive shadows, white highlights. You need to do the same with your hair. Try having blonde highlights put in afterwards for your underneath colour to sing!If you are really committed, first dye your hair redder than you really want, freak out, then hand stroke bleach through to strip some away. Someone lost their fingerprints for a few days (thanks mum!) but the look was awesome. My hair shone.Use a colour protect shampoo as red hair dye fades really quickly. Avoid the sun and it will keep better (and you can pretend you are a real redhead!)Don’t care?Just dye it with any box dye (or even henna if you like that particular look) but please always test for allergic reactions!

How do I dye my hair blue if I have brassy color tones?

You need to have your hair lightened (with bleach) to a higher level, as close to platinum/white as you can get it. As of right now, you could put blue dye over the brassy color you have, but it'll likely end up a muddy greenish color. Blue can be difficult to get right yourself because you need your hair to be extremely light for it to actually end up looking blue. If your hair has lightened to an orangeish blonde, it's likely around a level 7 - 8. For blue to actually look blue, you need your hair to be a level 10+. Getting your hair that light can be extremely damaging, and I would NEVER recommend doing it yourself, period. Even when you get it done professionally by a master stylist, your hair will be damaged if you take it that light, but at least we know how to do it with the least amount of damage possible, and we can use professional grade products and deep conditioners to help prevent as much damage as possible, and make the damage less noticeable and more manageable. I have seen people literally melt their hair off trying to get their hair to platinum at home. Please don't try it. If you put a blue toner over orange-blonde hair, it will neutralize the orange and give you a nice blonde. If you put a bright blue color over orange-blonde hair, it'll likely end up muddy and strange since the orange will be directly acting against the blue, and it could end up a muddy, swampy green if the hair has yellow tones as well. What you need to be careful of is the yellow tones that come out when you lighten hair past the orange stage. At a level 9 your hair will be yellow (more like the outside of a banana...not that intense, but you get the picture), and at a level 10, your hair will be more the yellow of the inside of a banana. Obviously, yellow+blue=green, so you need to get your hair past that yellow stage and remove as much pigment as possible from the hair before applying the blue. I've seen a lot of people lighten their hair to a level 9 or so, and then just put blue over it thinking that the blue will cover it all up....Nope, they just end up with green...and not a pretty "I meant to do that" green, a bad green.

Asian hair turn red after dye!?!? WHY!?

It's harder to dye darker hair than it is to dye lighter hair. Some dyes have charts on the back of the box to let you know what hair colors that particular dye will work best on.

Reddish brown may not be what you were looking for, but it does sound pretty. What do your friends think about it?

What color can you dye black hair without bleaching it?

Certain hair dyes can add tones to black hair. Very few people have true black hair i.e. a level 1. So, if you consider the kind of black hair that most have, yes, you can add tones of blue, purple or red to it. These tones are usually most visible in sunlight. Even otherwise, such dyes enhance the depth of black hair and give it some dimension. You can refer to this article to see the effect of blue black hair dye on black hair Review: L’Oreal Superior Preference in Black Sapphire I have experimented with a deep plum and blue black on my naturally black hair to cover greys, and I have been quite satisfied with the hint of colour my hair takes on each time. I don’t use bleach at all.

How do I get my hair from Blonde to brown?

yes it can turn green. I am a hairdresser and a went to a paul Mitchell school 3 yrs ago.. they put alot of emphasis on color... now i work at a high end salon. blonde hair has had all of the pigment taken out so simply putting a brown shade can make it look like mud. This isn't a really big problem, though, for very warm blondes aka "golden" or "strawberry" mainly only pale blondes. It is complicated but basically when you bleach hair you strip it in layers.. from blue(black) to violet to red to orange to yellow(blonde)... so you need to put these colors BACK into you hair before coloring going dark again. a stylists calls this a "fill" .. basically if you were my client i would "fill" your hair with a coppery gold color (depending on your shade and desired results) with a semi permanent for 10 mins then apply the permanent color directly over that. This will result in a natural deep looking brown. I suggest going to a salon but if you insist on doing it at home i would find a shade of brown that is on the warmer side.. not to give you red hair but simply to counter act the green.

oh and dont go for a warm "golden" because this has yellow and can contribute to the green.. go more for a orange or red undertone.. and if you are scared then buy a neutral and a warm and mix them... but seriously i would go to a professional because it could come out very green or very red if you dont know what you are doing!!!!
